The trend continues. Liked the first one, didn't like the second one, liked the third one, didn't like this one. The way the dead bodies were treated was just...atrocious.

Thank you NetGalley for this copy of Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice. This was so much fun.
I loved seeing Finlay, Vero and the rest of the crew in Atlantic City where all the hijinks ensued.
This was probably my second favorite after the first book. I love getting to know the characters more and more each novel.

I really enjoy this series and this has been one of my favorite characters to come out of reading. I’m always intrigued to see what the next adventure is going to hold if you’re looking for a good cozy crime book the series is for you.

Thank you NetGalley, Minotaur and the author for the gifted copy!
Every one of these books just gets more hysterical than the last! The drama, the chaos, the adventure & the shenanigans are plen-ti-ful & the whole gang has tagged along for the ride!
In this saga, some things get resolved, some new situations arise, love is in the air & one couple accidentally gets … well, you’ll see!
It’s absolute chaos & 100% crazy, the perfect escape from reality … and I’m here for it!

I absolutely adore this series! Finlay and Vero are my heroes and I can’t wait to see what kind of trouble they will get into next. This fourth installment of the series was a fantastic read I couldn’t put down.
Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice finds Finlay and Vero heading to Atlantic City to try and find Javi,Vero’s childhood crush, and deal with a dangerous loan shark. Of course they stumble upon some dead bodies and then have to keep them hidden in their plot to find Javi. This one is extra fun because Finlay’s mother and her ex-husband and their kids are along for the ride. Then Finlay’s hot cop, Nick, shows up. The pressure is own to save Javi and keep her secrets from those she loves.
This book has so many laugh out loud moments. I have yet to read book in this series that disappoints. If you have not read the Finlay Donovan series, do yourself a favor and pick up book one today.

Another great Finlay read. I can understand how people feel the series is winding down, but I’ve definitely been enjoying the ride. These fun characters have pulled me out of a slump and I’m looking forward to the next one!
Thank you NetGalley and Minotaur books for the advanced copy!

Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for my review copy!
Another funny and intriguing tale of shenanigans with Finlay and Vero. These reads are such a nice break from reality, and truly have me laughing out loud at times. I definitely recommend!

This book was a fun read! Finley heads to Atlantic City with Vero, her nanny, to deal with a loan shark and save Vero's childhood crush Javi. When her mom, kids, and ex-husband decide to tag along with them for a series of crazy hijinks. When her cop boyfriend, sister, and more law enforcement officials came along to help protect her, it became even more complicated.
This is the 4th in the series. I haven't read the others yet, but I felt it was pretty easy to follow along, although it's likely easier to read them in order. I enjoyed the characters and the over-the-top adventures and hijinks of Finley and Vero as they got into one mess after another. I definitely want to check out and read the rest of her books.
Thanks to @stmartinspress, @netgalley, and the author for this arc

this one had me shook! it felt a bit outlandish but overall it was really entertaining! i love that we got to see more developments in the lives of our side characters & we wrapped up our past storyline.
i'm excited for the next book because it seems like we're going to be moving onto an entirely new plot! i'm already giggling thinking about what could possibly happen after reading the epilogue.
Thank you to NetGalley & Minotaur Books for the ARC copy!

Finlay + Vero + road trip + cops = fun! I really love this series and this one also did not disappoint. There are getting to be a lot of characters to keep track of so make sure you read in order so you don't miss out. I cannot wait to continue reading the series and finding out what more crazy hijinks they get into and will their luck run out.

If Elle Cosimano writes about Finlay forever, I will forever be a reader.
I devoured this series!
I ended up listening to this series on audio and the narrative was captivating and well narrated.
I highly recommend this series!
Thank you NetGalley for this ARC

"There's no way your taking him out with Faberware, Finn. You need LeCresulet for that." what better Mom Lit line can you get than that to showcase the off the wall but totally understandable humor, sarcasm, and screwball delight that makes this series work. Although both the last book and Vero's novella had a few hiccoughs, this book brought Finley and Vero back into five star territory for me. With even more LOL moments and a wonderfully brisk pace, I was quickly drawn back into this series with Rolls the Dice.
Please Note- This series is not for those who are looking for a true crime story - and I love that this book is not trying to be that! This is a fun adventure written for looking for a Saturday Matinee Classic that lets you think back all week to a favorite scene with a smile or smirk because it was just that amusing and enchanting.

I loved the first two books in this series, but Book 3 was too out there. I debated about continuing the series and waited a year after its release before picking it up. This one picks up where the last one left off. In order to fully enjoy it, I feel you need to read the rest of the series.
What was supposed to be a girls’ trip ends up a family vacation, including the ex-husband, Steven. The hijinks and dead bodies in this one are a little too much, but dare I say, maybe better than how book 3 was. It interested me, and I chuckled at a few parts (I loved the dog!). I already have the next in the series, so I will give that one a go, too.

The whole gang is on a road trip to Atlantic City to rescue Javi from a load shark and to once again (hopefully) thwart Russian mobster Felix in this action-packed rom-com adventure! Every book of this series is better than the one before. Cosimano has yet to plateau.
There's plenty of danger, quick-thinking, creative twists, relationship growth and I cannot get enough! If you aren't already hooked on this series (it's a perfect summer beach binge) you are missing out!

Another fun installment to the Finlay Donovan series! I don't know how Cosimano does it, but I live that I'm always guessing to the very end. Can't wait for the next one.

Finlay Donovan and her ever-growing entourage are on the move with a road trip to Atlantic City! This book is absolutely ridiculous in the best way possible. This might be the funniest book of the series for me. There was a LOT going on throughout this whole story, and I was happy to see some of the storylines resolved by the end of the book. Finlay and Vero continue to be my favourite relationship, but I absolutely loved seeing Finlay & Nick and Vero & Javi having their moments too. The storylines are so far-fetched and a comedy of errors, but that's exactly what I expect from these books now. They are an entertaining escape from reality, and I'm here for the ride.

This might be my most favorite of the Finlay series yet! It was soo fun and crazy action packed! I loved the ending and the setup for the next one! I love the side missions we get to go on with Finlay and Vero. The strip club part was my favorite I was laughing/crying haha poor mama didn't know what she was getting herself into.

Okay so Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice was... fine. Like, I didn’t hate it, I still love Finlay and Vero’s chaotic crime-girlie energy, but this one just didn’t hit like the first two. The Atlantic City setting had potential, but the plot felt a little too all over the place and not quite as sharp or hilarious as I was hoping. It gave more filler episode than season finale, if you know what I mean. I’ll still read the next one because I’m invested in this hot mess of a series, but I kinda miss the tight pacing and unhinged brilliance of Killing It. Here’s hoping book four brings the heat back.

Somehow Finley finds herself on a road trip with her mom, sidekick Vero, her kids and ex husband what could possibly go wrong?! This was my least favorite of the series. At first it started strong but I became bored towards the end.

I feel like these books keep getting better and better. Finlay and Vero’s characters are growing with every book. I am very happy with the way this one ended and I’m excited to see what trouble those two can get into next.
