Thank you netgalley and St. Martin's press for sending me the ARC of Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice in place of a review.
Finlay Donovan is back for another brilliant and entertaining adventure. I have read all 4 books and not one has disappointed me. These are a fun and light hearted read that you can fly through and laugh with.
I feel you must start at the beginning of this series as all these book connect wonderfully.
Finlay and Vero end up on a road trip to Atlantic City because Javi is kidnapped. They go with Finkay's ex husband, two kids, and her mother. Can she solve the murders and keep boyfriend Nick out of the loop of the dead bodies she has came across?
This book has far more adventure and crime stopping and trouble. Buckle up for this one cause Elle Cosimano is taking you for a wild ride.
Also something worth mentioning is I love The Plum Series by Janet Evonovich and I feel if you like those you will like this series as well. Fun, comedy, hot person of interest, and shenanigans.

I binge read this series so fast and was super happy to be able to read the fourth book as a review copy from NetGalley. Finlay and her comrades are full of hilarious hijinks and I enjoyed every word.

Elle Cosimano can really do no wrong. Every story of Finaly and Vero keeps me hooked from the very first page.
Cosimano has a way of writing that makes you laugh but also has the ability to keep you on the edge of the page (or your seat) for its entirety.
I look so forward to reading all the books from this series and cannot wait for the next!!!!

Another great read in this series. This book is about needing a girls trip to Atlantic City. Finley has her mother and ex husband dragging along on this journey. The loan shark is trying to give problems and lots of other issues. A really good and interesting read in this series.

Finlay, a mother and writer, and Vero, the babysitter, are back to take on the mob, corrupt cops, and get into more crazy shenanigans along the way! Another funny and engaging cozy mystery by Elle Cosimano. This is the fourth in the series and finally I felt like it lived up to the first book which was my favorite. Quick paced and fun read. Thank you to Netgalley and Minotaur Books for an ARC in exchanged for my honest feedback.

First of all, thank you to NetGalley, Minotaur Books and Elle Cosimano for the advanced reader copy.
Finlay & Vero are back for the 4th installment of the series and I loved it just as much as the first 3. This time around, my favorite duo are roadtripping to Atlantic City for another wild adventure! Once again, the characters were so fun & I was pulled into the story immediately. Great book & great series!

Elle does it again! This book was fantastic and I couldn’t put it down! I enjoyed this book a little more than the third but the Finlay books will always be an auto read for me because the characters are always so delightful

I truly enjoy this series and "...Rolls the Dice" does not disappoint! This is a continuation of the last book, "jumps the Gun" and picks up right where the last one left off. Finlay, Vera and crew find themselves in Atlantic City while still pursued by, well, everyone. If you were frustrated that the last book didn't really wrap up the plot line, you'll find satisfaction here. The character development is strong as we learn more about Vera's past and Finlay is growing into her assumed role as the heroine, and all the while Ellie Cosimano keeps the witty banter flowing. It's not a stand-alone, and if you're jumping in I do recommend starting from the start, but it's a fun ride and the books are quick reads, so it's worth the journey.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

I cannot get enough of this series! Finlay and Vero’s adventures are so ridiculous (and ridiculously fun to read) that I can’t resist finishing the whole book in a day or two every time I get my hands on one of them. This latest installment picks up right where the last book left off and has the friends road tripping to Atlantic City under the guide of a girls’ trip. With Finlay’s mom and Steven in tow and the rest of the usual suspects around, of course hijinks ensue. Finlay and Vero have to solve another mystery to save themselves while on their mission to rescue Javi, all while keeping their hijinks a secret from their friends and Finlay’s family. As usual, this is not a realistic or gritty mystery or action story and it doesn’t take itself too seriously, which makes it just as a fun ride as the other books have been. If you’ve enjoyed the other Finlay Donovan books, make sure to continue the fun with this one. If you haven’t read them before, I highly suggest starting at the beginning of the series so you can enjoy the whole story. This one had a lot going on, and there seemed to be an almost overwhelming number of characters to keep track of, but I appreciated that none of the loose ends from the past books were dropped or forgotten, so it was sort of necessary to bring all of those elements in. These books are always fun and the characters are witty and likable (yet flawed) so they are fun to root for even as they stumble through the bizarre events that always seem to follow them. These books are always a fun read that I can’t seem to put down, and I can’t wait for the next installment of this series!

My Thoughts:
This one is my least favorite of the series so far. It did flow well and pick up right where the last book started. However, it's starting to feel a bit forced and repetitive. I do love Finlay and Vero, but they're staring to fizzle out, I'm afraid. Thank you, NetGalley, St Martin's Press and Minotaur Books, for the opportunity to read and review this advanced copy.

Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice takes place immediately after Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun leaves off. The plot is ridiculous, but a fun ridiculous. The book ties up a lot of loose ends and sets up the next installment of the series, which based on how the book ends should feature a new unrelated murder mystery. I just wish Finlay and Vero had more of a plan throughout the book. I know Finlay is not supposed to be a criminal mastermind (that’s the whole premise of the series), but sometimes she and Vero walk into situations with no plan other than “idk". I would think she could create some sort of plan based on her knowledge of the genre, however ill-conceived. Because of this, a lot of the plot seems far-fetched, but it was still an enjoyable read.
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for providing an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thanks so much to NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for this eARC! Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice picks up immediately after Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun. It has the same crazy Finlay and Vero adventure we’ve all come to love with action, mystery, humor, and romance. Several of the story lines from the earlier books were wrapped up which I really liked. In the last book I started to get a little annoyed with all their stupid mistakes, those are still there, but it was more action packed this time. The last chapter and epilogue were starting to make me feel like this was the last book…but after that ending, is it?!

Review: Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice by Elle Cosimano
A laugh-out-loud continuation to the Finlay Donovan series. Will Finlay and Vero wrap up their precarious situation without anyone finding out? If you haven’t read the rest of the series, I don’t want to spoil anything, but I can say that it is well worth making it this far in the series, which is is a satisfyingly, silly mystery with bumbling and lovable heroines. Check it out!
Thanks to St. Martin’s Press, Minotaur Books, and Netgalley for this advanced copy. The review is my honest opinion.

Book 4 of the Finlay Series. Highly anticipated book for me so I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to read it!
We pick up immediately where we left off in book 3 and the gang is headed to Atlantic City to help with Vero. Hijinks ensue. Nick shows up. We learn that Steven is still a trash father. (Seriously his confession made me want to hurl my tablet). And Vero and Finlay find themselves knee deep in a mess that isn't there's. It's wild and crazy and silly and fun.
I loved it. I love the growth of friendship for Vero and Finlay. I loved the tension of what's going to happen next. I love the side characters who brought so much to the table. I loved Kevin Bacon. It was all so so fun. You absolutely need to read books 1-3 before even thinking about opening this one because it'll confuse you.
I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop with Steven and Nick. I guess book 5 will answer those questions!! Thank you, Ellie! I'll wait with bated breath for book 5 now.

Somehow I am always shocked about the antics Finally and Vero get in (and out of). I love how every chapter is packed with action and the plot keeps moving forward with new twists. AndI still am loving the series but getting a little frustrated with Finn and her lying, so I just have to suspend by belief about "right" and "wrong". But of course I will keep reading because Elle keeps us hooked! *Thanks to Net Galley for the ARC! 3.5/5

Another great installment in the Finlay Donovan series. Book 4 picks up right where book 3 left off. Finlay and Vero are off on a girls weekend trip to Atlantic City, only now Finlay's mother, children, and ex-husband are tagging along. But this isn't any weekend trip - Finlay and Vero are trying to find Javi and a stolen car, and supreme antics ensue with the whole family in tow.
As soon as they arrive in Atlantic City, they are confronted with a couple dead bodies, and then the police arrive, including Georgia, and hot cop, Nick. Just like prior books, Finlay and Vero find themselves in difficult situations, often involving disguises and fleeing from the cops, but they always have each other's backs. And there's a nice mix of romance in this installment as well.
I found this installment to be a little more confusing to follow than prior books, but equally as fun and enjoyable to read. I couldn't stop turning the pages to find out how the story would end. And as with prior books, the ending leaves you hanging and setting up the scene for the next book.
Thank you to St. Martin's Press for the opportunity to read and review.

3.5 stars
Finlay and Vero’s shenanigans never go out of style. Being with them and all those characters are always such a fun time. Their adventures are silly, getting kinda repetitive tho, but i still end up enjoying my time.
Huge Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing this copy.

Finlay, Vero, and the gang are back in the 4th installment of Elle Cosimano’s Finlay Donovan series. This was so fun to read and I’m so grateful to have received an advanced copy.
Finlay and Vero are off to Atlantic City in search of a car that was stolen from them, a car that contains some important information that could incriminate them. A risk that Finlay isn’t willing to take when her hot, Cop boyfriend, Nick, is hot on the tail of this case. When Finlay and Vero try to sneak away for a girls weekend to take care of business, Stephen, the kids, and Finlay’s mom somehow sneak their way into the weekend shenanigans in Atlantic City. And when they arrive? Nick, Georgia (Finlay’s Cop sister), Sam (another Cop), and an FBI agent are also there – following a lead on the case to arrest Feliks Ghirov, the Russian mob boss with whom Finlay has been in a precarious working arrangement. As always, the story is a hot mess, but a funny, silly, high stakes hot mess. The situations Finlay and Vero get into never cease to surprise me.
After the last two Finlay Donovan books, I felt mid about the series, while I wanted to keep going, the last two were just okay compared to the first, but this one redeemed the series for me. It was fun and exciting and the change of scenery was nice. I still don’t love Nick as Finlay’s love interest, he falls a little flat for me, too stereotypical cop in my opinion, but I do love the way he supports Finlay and he seems to enjoy spending time with her kids too. I also love that Stephen continues to grovel to try and get Finlay back. Not happening.

Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice by Elle Cosimano is a fun and quick read that I didn't realize is part of a wider world with this character. I do think this story reads well as a stand alone but will be looking into the author's other works as I want more time with these characters . definitely want to nab a physical copy of this one upon its release in march.

ARC Review:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice by Elle Cosimano
Finlay and Vero are once again thrown into mess upon mess, as they set off to Atlantic City to save Javi from his kidnappers. These books do not miss. They never fail to have me hooked from the get go. I laughed, face palmed, and gasped my way through this delightful mystery. @ellecosimano will always be an auto-buy author for me.
