Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice by Elle Cosimano is my favorite installment of the series so far. As always, I enjoyed the characters and I love the growth shown in all of them. This is such a fun series and I liked how Elle Cosimano wrapped up this particular storyline with Finlay and Vero. Thanks to Elle Cosimano, NetGalley, and St. Martin's Press for the gifted copy.

In this installment we go to Atlantic City with Finlay, Vero and the whole gang. It starts as a "girls weekend" but then quickly gets hijacked by Finlay's mom, ex husband and kids.
We have some good character development and conclusions in this book as compared to the last three. Sure some of what was going on was somewhat unbelievable but I was there for the ride and loved every minute of it.
This left us with a pretty big cliffhanger and I cannot wait to see what happens in book 5.

Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice picks up right where book 3 left off. Vero and Finlay go on a road trip to Atlantic City to find Javier & their missing car. This installment in the series provided a fast-paced and hijinks-filled conclusion to several of the storylines from previous books. I loved seeing Steven get a well-deserved slap of reality in this book. Finlay's character & confidence growth in this book was refreshing after a lackluster book 3. Additionally the progression of the romances for both Finlay and Vero were delicious. Overall this was a lighthearted and funny book that entertained me.

I always enjoy Finlay Donovan books! They are lighthearted, quick reads. They remind me of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series in the way that the main character is always getting into sticky situations where she and her sidekick Vero don't always toe the line. There's also a police detective boyfriend and ex-husband in the picture, as well as other fun side characters. In this installment, Finlay and her whole family head to Atlantic City to look for Vero's friend, Javi and dead bodies and hijinks ensue.

Love this whole series, especially on audio. This book was just as good as the others. Finlay is funny, interesting and clever. Very entertaining

Halfway through this book I felt exhausted for Finlay and Vero. These two do not catch breaks or get any sleep! But the story kept twisting and turning with insane plot points blended with real life issues of self esteem and self worth. I love how Elle keeps creating these stories of wacky adventure and real emotions.

Elle Cosimano does it again. Finlay Donovan is out and about up to who knows trying to figure out another mystery in her own way. This series is so fun and highly recommended to anyone who loves cozy mysteries or female characters they can relate to.

Finlay Donovan takes Atlantic City and I loved how the new setting added a fresh feel to a storyline that has covered 4 books now and yet still feels new and like we’re just beginning to uncover everything. I loved that we got all the cast back in new and creative ways and I also feel like this book was the turning point for a few of the characters in their character arcs.
Finlay and Vero spend a lot of this book separated and I would like to see multiple POVs especially after reading Vero’s novella, but I loved how this one played out and the relationship between Nick and Finlay is finally getting some heat and I’m here for it!

Book #4
Finlay and Vera take a surprise trip to Vegas, unfortunately her kids, mom, and ex tag along. Soon they run into her sister, new boyfriend, and a couple others- all cops.
Leave it to Vera to find two dead bodies in the tub, men that Finlay and Vera have been sent to find. Now they not only have to find who stole their car, (the reason they are in Vegas), they also have to do this without being found out by anyone, they have to survive the trip!
I'm so glad I found this series. I have recommended Finlay to several friends that love mystery/suspense novels! Definite five star review!

I always have a fun time with Finlay Donovan! Each book is always just a happy fun time - even though I found this one the most stressful with the situations Finlay ended up in, it was still a fun time. I'm really enjoying the romance between Finlay and Nick (the hot cop). I also enjoyed seeing a different side of Vero in this one with her own love interest. Each Finlay book always gets me in the end where I'm desperate to know what happens next and this one didn't disappoint.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this book!

Never a disappointment, this chapter of Finlay’s story kept getting better. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough, in order to find out what happened next. Thank you so much Netgalley, St. Martin's Press and Minotaur Books for the advanced e-Arc in exchange for my honest review.

Finlay and Vero travel with the family (yes, Steven included) to Atlantic City on a road trip that won't be forgotten easily. There are dead bodies, pancakes, and a family reunion that show up early on, and the comedy never stops. Vero and Finlay are just too much fun and the crazy continues to find them wherever they go.
Thank you to NetGalley and St Martins Press and Minotaur Books for providing this series for me in exchange for an honest review.

This one had me hooked immediately! Finlay’s never-ending ability to find trouble made it impossible to put down. And the twists had my jaw dropping!

I love this series. It’s absolutely ridiculous but such a fun ride. I love that in this book we got more Vero & Javi (and Finlay & Nick) and somehow I felt like this one was more realistic than its predecessors. The “girls trip” in Atlantic City is such a fun setting, and I just had a great time reading it. I am always on board for more Finlay Donovan!

Another installment of the zaniness from Finlay and Vero! Still an enjoyable ride (and search for the Astin Martin) if you don't take anything too seriously. We get to see more of the kiddos, Steven, Finlay's mom and learn more about Vero's mysterious past. I enjoyed the fact that each book takes off right where the previous end ended Coincidence after coincidence made sure the humor has crossed over into silliness.

Finlay Donovan and Vero Ruiz plan a trip to Atlantic City. While they label the trip a girls' getaway, they're really trying to clear their names. In the process, they hope to rescue Vero's childhood crush Javi, negotiate a deal with a dangerous loan shark, and find their stolen car. Unfortunately, Finlay's ex-husband Steven and her mother insist on tagging along. And the hot cop crush Nick soon join the adventure. Finlay and Vero must act fast to achieve their goals - all while deceiving the ones they love.
Like other books in this series, "Rolls the Dice" is a fast-paced and fun novel. It's filled with action and adventure. Plus, I laughed out loud a lot!
I didn't care for the graphic sex scenes and innuendo. And this novel includes more profanity than other books in the series.
I'm definitely coming back for more Finlay and Vero adventures!

Another great addition to the Finlay Donovan series. I definitely am starting to wane in my love for the series and I'm not sure if that's just series fatigue or I'm just not enjoying the plot anymore. I think I'm just a fan of smaller series instead of them just going on and on with no end in sight. It's starting to feel like Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich which I gave up about 5 books into. It's just starting to feel a little repetitive.

I love the Finlay series, but this one started to feel a bit repetitive and predictable, unfortunately. I still loved the characters and banter, though!

Another crazy, implausible, fun read in this series. You definitely have to leave reality behind when you read about Finlay and Vero’s adventures. As this is the fourth book in the series, I was beginning to think this storyline would never end, but finally some conclusions. I also loved having Findlay’s mother take a more prominent role. Now to get the newest one read!

Goodness it took me way to long to get back into this series and I regret that I waited. I forgot how much I enjoy this series and am so entertained by the storyline! I know the plot is implausible but that makes me love it even more. I love the humour and some of Vero and Finlay's one-liners have me laughing out loud and snickering. Another fun book!
