Finlay is one of my faves I am definitely enjoying this rollercoaster ride with her and Vero. I laugh so much when reading this series and I love how the characters have developed. I am definitely ready for the next book in this series.

I have enjoyed all of the books in this series, but things are starting to get too complicated and convoluted this time around. I believe by the end of the book almost everything is wrapped up, but new mysteries were starting.
I still love the characters and the humor. I just felt like this one was missing something.

The Finlay Donovan series is a ridiculous, hilarious, and at times heartwarming series that follows a woman who accidentally falls into a live of assassinations and chasing large sums of money to pay back the Russian Mob.
This one is no different- except, this time, we go with Finlay to Atlantic City.
I often have to remind myself that this is just a series, and that I shouldn't be comparing the story to a situation that would *actually* happen. Because we would have ended partway through book one if we were to follow that logic.
Once I was able to remove myself from reality, it was a whirlwind of an adventure!
Thank you to the author, publisher, and Netgalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Finlay and Vero are continuing their adventure by heading off to Atlantic City to rescue Javi. This time they have Steven and the kids as well as Finlay"s mother in tow. There is a whole lot going on in this book. It is a madcap adventure that keeps going and going. At times it gets a bit overboard but it is fun to read. It wraps up some things somewhat but it leaves room for another adventure to start.

Finlay Donovan hits the road to Atlantic City with nanny, mother, kids, and ex-husband in tow. Up to her usual shenanigans, Finlay and Vero work to clear Vero's debt and save their own behinds from the mob and a loan shark.
Funny, outrageous, and all around an absolute joy to read, Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice is the perfect wrap up to Elle Cosimano's hilarious series.

I have yet to read a Finlay Donovan book that I didn't enjoy and this one keeps that track record going. I really enjoyed the new setting and the hijinks that Finlay and Vero get up to in this book. Looking forward to the next one!

Last year, I heard a rumor that the third book was going to be the last. For some reason, I believed this—despite the book ending on a mild cliffhanger. Well, imagine my surprise—and delight—that a fourth one was being published!
I love this series! It’s so fun to read! All the characters are so great-especially Vero and Finlay. This series gives me the same happy feelings that the Stephanie Plum (Janet Evanovich) series does. It’s just straight fun all throughout.
Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice is no exception. I loved the change in setting in Atlantic City. Vero and Finn’s relationship is so amazing—I love that they would do anything for each other…even commit crimes. I’m excited to see the new direction this series will go into now that a key player is out of the way.
Thank you Net Galley for the ARC!

Thank you to NetGalley for the advance ecopy of this title. The latest installment of the Finlay Donovan series lacks a bit of the pizzazz of the others in the series. Finlay and Co. (including ex-husband and mother) head to Atlantic City to find the stolen Porsche and inevitably encounter gangsters. There is much chasing and pseudo-danger, but in the end, out favorite characters are all in one piece. If the series continues, the plot lines need to be tweaked to hold attention.

I loved it! Every Finlay Donovan book has me begging for more the moment I finish one. I can't wait to see where shes going to go next.

Thank you NetFalley and the publisher for ARC.
I was so excited to received this ARC! The fourth book didn’t disappoint. The only thing was that it had too many characters. I had a difficult time to remember who is who. I would recommend maybe reading #3 before reading this one to brush up on characters.
I can’t wait for the 5th book! I am happy this one was not the last one of the series!!

Findlay Donovan books are always a very fun read. They are funny with a good mystery . One thing I love about the series is there is no repetition of the previous book.
This book was very enjoyable. I loved the deeper romance between Findlay and Nick as well as Vero and Javi. I wondered a few times how they would get away with the things they did in the hotel but I guess that’s the fun part of fiction. I hope there will be a 5th in the series (actually more) because this is a wonderfully written story. Well done.

This book was so fun. I’m continually impressed with the wild, yet believable scenarios that Finlay and Vero find themselves in. There definitely continues to be quite a bit of amateur sleuthing in this one - and I thought the ending was pretty well done. The main cast of characters all had great interactions in this book - and keeping them all involved in the story is a great hallmark of this series. There were a few connections that I probably didn’t quite catch just from having read these so far apart. But definitely a great addition to build on both Finlay and Vero's stories!
Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC and for giving me the opportunity to participate in the cover reveal for this book!

Oh boy...I'm always game for any story that involves Vero and Finlay (and Vero giving Steven additional grief).
I feel so fortunate to have been approved for an early version of the book since the book is not released until March 2024. The previous third book in the series was published on January 31, 2023. I will say that with only 9 months between the 3rd and 4th book I sometimes had issues keeping track of what happened in the previous book, Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun. I would urge readers to familiarize themselves with the events in 3rd book shortly before reading Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice,
Buckle up for the fourth installment of the series...all of the fun you've come to expect from Finlay, Vero, Nick, Steven, and the kids is back... but this time they're taking on Atlantic City for a girls weekend (with some extra passengers in tow).
What more could you ask for...dead bodies in bath tubs, close calls with the police, jokes at Steven's expense and more.

Thank you to St. Martin's Press, Minotaur Books and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this eARC!
Last year I was granted the eARC for Finlay Donovan Jumps the Gun and was so excited to see Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice available for request on NetGalley and to be granted the book. I LOVED the direction that the latest installment in Finlay Donovan went. The romances got hotter and the twists got crazier. I was laughing out loud at the lengths Finlay and Vero had to go to (and the crazy disguises donned). The setting of Atlantic City added new opportunities for zany adventures that I loved. I enjoyed the fact that some open ended plot elements were closed and the maturity and shifts that all characters saw. I will say the ending twist was great and as always I can't wait for the next book in this series! Thanks for all the laughter and enjoyment Elle Cosimano!

Rating: 4.5/5⭐️
Spice: .5/5🌶️
Summary: After receiving a ransom note, Finlay and Vero are headed to Atlantic City to figure out a way to save Javi. Finlay’s ex-husband and her mom insist on joining which turns the weekend into even more chaos than expected.
Thoughts: This is the most outrageous one yet, therefore I think it’s quite possibly my favorite of the series. The Atlantic City setting is absolutely perfect and it was really fun envisioning the shenanigans with that backdrop.
The main romance is the only thing that holds this back from a 5 star for me. I think after 4 books, we’ve earned some more stability in that area. I will say that the background love stories are adorable, especially Vero and Javi.
As usual, the dynamic between Finlay and Vero is amazing. Their banter and unconditional love for each other just brings a smile to my face.

I absolutely love these books!! Ever since the first book featuring Finlay and Vero I have been obsessed with this dynamic duo. Getting the chance to read an advanced copy of the newest installment made my day and I couldn’t have loved it more. Finlay and Vero know they have to try to make things right and plan a “girls” trip to Atlantic City. Soon they are joined by Finlay’s ex husband, her children, and her mom. Not to mention her new boyfriend who is also in law enforcement. The story continues with a bunch of mishaps that made me laugh out loud many times and kept me engrossed until the end.
Thank you to Netgalley and to the publishers for allowing me to read this advanced copy.

This new installment perfectly captured exactly what I was looking for, and was easily my favorite in the series so far. Finlay continues to make questionable choices, but I'm happy to go along for the drama of the ride. Well paced and plotted, I sped right through this. All are favorite characters are back with a few delightful newbies, and for all the action, I found the resolution super satisfying, while still settings us up for more chaotic fun to come.

Watch out, Atlantic City, Finlay is back! The newest installment in the Finlay Donovan series starts off right where the previous one left off. Under the guise of a girls’ weekend, Finlay and Vero plan an impromptu trip to Atlantic City in search of a mobster/loan shark, Vero’s kidnapped crush, and an Aston Martin. Ridiculously, almost the entire series’ cast of characters join them. FDRTD packs as much hilarity and hijinks as readers have come to expect from Cosimano, with dead bodies to hide, dogs swallowing evidence, strippers, guns, and even a late night drunken wedding. And at the end, thankfully, Cosimano sets up a potential storyline for a future installment.
Admittedly, I wasn’t so sure about this one at first. I have enjoyed the series’ outlandish stories, but I found it hard to believe that so many characters would find themselves together at this Atlantic City hotel and casino. Nevertheless, my doubts were quickly squashed as the story picked up. It had been a while since I read the previous Finlay novel, so I was rusty on a bit of the storyline and characters, but I appreciated how Cosimano didn’t include a lot of summaries from the previous books. However, I would recommend reading the previous books in the series before reading this one. In the end, FDRTD lived up to my expectations and I have high hopes for the next book!

Elle did it again! Finlay and Vero are just as fun to follow throughout this journey as they have been their other journeys. This one got to be a little more tricky and they had to get a little more creative!
My only critique is it did take me a minute to get into, but once I did, I was fully invested! Well written and such a joy to read. I can't wait for everyone to get their hands on this one.

Another cute story of the adventures on the other side of the law with Finlay and Vero. This time they are accompanied by the children, Steven the ex, Susan the mom and of course, Nick the "hot cop" is there to help steam things up a bit.
The Aston Martin they "borrowed" in the last book has gone missing and we know it must be the same bad guys who were after them before. Javi, cousin of Vero is missing along with the car so off to Atlantic City to try to rescue him, find the car so they can return it and try to stay alive. They leave Steven and mom at the hotel so he gets to see what full time parenting is like for 2 preschoolers instead of his usual leave them behind and just have fun.
Some of the antics are a little over the top, but overall they handle it well when they find 2 dead bodies instead of Javi in the hotel room. They do find Kevin Bacon, the dog and he does come in handy as the missing key.
Thank you Net Galley for an advance reader copy. Honest opinions expressed here are my own and freely offered.
