I love information books like this! They are so helpful especially when just starting out on this journey and even just to learn more on the subject

This book was perfect for my four sons! I loved how easily each chapter was broken down and felt like it was very readable for each of them. I highly recommend this book!

Great book for boys, written by a middle school health teacher. And I don't know that I would even limit the usefulness of this book to the ages referenced. Sections are At Home, At School, and Out in the World. Chapters then cover topics including cleaning, cooking, personal hygiene, organization, friendships, money, and communication. There's a checklist for all the life skills. Each skill has a page or two and covers steps to accomplish it in easy to understand language. It doesn't talk down, but it clearly states what to do. I'm excited to share this book with my son. This is an amazing resource, since I've found boys tend to listen better when it's a third party telling them something. This could also be super useful for sons of single or extremely busy parents, so they can learn at their own pace.

I think it is important to have books like this that teach basic skills. Not all the skills will be applicable but I think the variety of skills will be beneficial to most.
