Snow Days With You is a warm and uplifting read, perfect for the winter season.
Leonie's writing captures the beauty of snowy landscapes and the joy of finding connection in unexpected places.
The characters are relatable and engaging, and the story has just the right mix of heart, humour, and seasonal charm. A cosy and feel-good escape from start to finish.

With each Leonie Mack book I see a clever reveal, my heart stops, and I think- I’ve really got to get on that! This book was no exception, actually, hold that, it was possibly even more of an exception as I got so excited to see it was set in snow!
Cue a jump to this, the story of a girl who’s seen as something of perhaps a drifter (I didn’t see that, what a fab job she has!) who is on a mission. She comes face to face with someone who also lives in missions (I know, it’s a clunky phrase, I’m sorry!), the lovely Yannick, who works with mountain rescue.
Between the descriptions, the settings, the romance and the sheer vividness, I lived for this book. Beyond beyond recommended (any time of the year!)
Thanks to the publisher for the advance review copy, all opinions are my own.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion.
I enjoyed this the most of the 3 books I've read by this author. I thought the plot was good, I liked the mystery of her benefactor, who was he & why did he leave her money? I loved reading about the area, and the work of the rescue teams; I found a lot of the details thrilling and exciting. I thought the main character was a little weak - why wouldn't she have her birth certificate, imagine leaving it to her mother to maintain her passports and I wasn't keen on the way her friend was expecting her back to take up a job but Luna repeatedly refused to commit either way so this reduced my rating by 1 star.

A cute wintry story, perfect for a snow day
Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for this review copy and the opportunity !

Oh my gosh, what’s not to love about Snow Days with You! This book has everything: self-growth, an incredible setting, and a heartfelt romance. I fell completely in love with the characters, especially with the inclusion of a single father raising his daughter—it added so much depth and warmth. The mountain rescue team and the dreamy backdrop of the French Alps made the story even more captivating.
I also adored the incorporation of skiing, ice climbing, and rock climbing into the plot. It was such a cool and unexpected addition that perfectly balanced romance with outdoor adventure. As someone who loves both, this book hit all the right notes for me.
This is a story I’d recommend over and over again, especially to outdoor enthusiasts or anyone who enjoys adventure romances. They can be so hard to find, but this one truly stands out as one of the best I’ve read in a long time.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing an advanced reader’s copy in exchange for an honest review.

Unfortunately I had to dnf this book which I am disappointed at as I heard good things of the author but the story just felt very mediocrely written and choppy that some parts didn't make sense. The characters were kind of bland. I put the book down thinking maybe I am in a reading slump but it was just boring so I couldnt continue.

This is a lovely slow burn romance.
I like the French setting and small village atmosphere. It's simply pleasurable to read about places like that.
I love the mountain rescue men and their important work. I also really loved that they played such a big part in this book. They are all very interesting characters and I loved the feeling of family they brought to the book.
Luna was such a lovely character and it was a pleasure to be able to follow her on her journey of self discovery. It was even better than what I expected. And of course, Yannick is one of the most amazing book boyfriends I've met this year. He's a real hero. I also really liked that he's a dad. It makes hime even more special.
The ending was even better than what I expected and it simply made me happy.

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. I was able to find the audio version through my local library. I have read a few books from this author. If you like lighthearted type rom com or even family drama type story plots you should check out this author! She write like Sophie Kinsella and Portia Macintosh. Very cute romcom! Highly recommend!

Snow Days With You by Leonie Mack was so good. The characters are well-developed and the plot is engaging. A great read. I highly recommend!

This is quite an unusual plot, set in Chamonix, just right for a winter read. The mountains dominate the story and the elements are integral to the story. Luna is completely out of her comfort zone, travelling to Chamonix in search of a few answers from her past. She has not come to terms with the loss of her mother but finds that there is a lot she does not know about her past.
Yannick has issues of his own to come to terms with and is adapting to his new life as a divorced father. You sense his sensitive side and he obviously cares very much for his young daughter. There are some romantic moments in the story but both Luna and Yannick find it difficult to admit how they really feel. There are plenty of secondary characters to give the story colour and the mountain rescue team camaraderie adds some humour. Luna finds that she has a mystery to solve which takes her by surprise and which upturns her view of her self. In the end, courage and seizing the day seems to be the way to go.
In short: fortune favours the brave

Leonie delivers again. She leaves you wanting to travel to places you only dream of. I loved the storyline with strong characters go beyond their emotional and physical means. Can’t wait for the next one

I love reading books by Leonie Mack. They are full of brilliant and relatable characters who you just fall on love with.
Just as this book is. I always recommend everyone reads the..

This is a superb winter romance, which I loved and adored! The story is about a woman called Luna who travels to Chamonix with her mother's ashes, to find out more about the man who left her an inheritance. While there, she meets a man called Yannick, who helps her in a lot of different ways. Together they find out the secrets of her past, which then leads to a close friendship and perhaps a bit more!

In "Snow Days with You," Luna embarks on a journey to Chamonix to uncover the identity of a mysterious benefactor who left her a life-altering inheritance. Instead of attending a Christmas dinner with her family, Luna sets off with her mother's ashes to delve into the secrets behind the unexpected bequest.
However, her plans hit a snag when her car, lacking snow tires and running low on gas, stalls before reaching Chamonix. Enter Yannick, a member of the mountain rescue team, who comes to her aid. With Yannick's assistance, Luna sets off on a quest that leads her to the heights of Mont Blanc, with Yannick agreeing to be her guide.
As Luna immerses herself in the loveliness of her newfound town, she finds herself drawn to Yannick, but he seems guarded, his heart seemingly closed off. Will he uncover the reasons behind his reluctance before Luna's departure?
Whether romance blooms or not, Luna's mountain adventures are captivating. "Snow Days with You" offers a rich portrayal of new locales and community spirit, making it a delightful choice for readers who enjoy exploring different places through fiction. Leonie Mack's vivid descriptions truly bring the setting to life.
Thank you to NetGalley and Boldwood book for an advance copy in exchange for my honest opinion.

It took a bit for me to get into the story but once I had I was glad I’d stuck with it.
When Luna finds out she been left a legacy by a man she’s never met she sets on to try to find out why. With her mother’s ashes for company she finds herself heading to a skiing resort in Chamonix. She runs out of fuel just before reaching her destination and is rescued by Yannick who is a mountain rescuer.
Yannick listens to the reason why Luna is there and ends up offering to help her. Yannick has his own secrets and finds by helping Luna it’s helping him face up to some of his past. Are either of them prepared to risk opening their hearts?

Luna is about to find more than she expected this Christmas. The settings are beautiful and the romance swoon worthy.

This was a very cute and funny book which was easy and quick to read, I got invested in the story from the beginning and really liked the main characters. It was also a very emotional book, and I really enjoy when books are able to bring out some feelings. Definitely recommend this and I'm excited to read more from this author.

This book is not your typical Christmas read despite its snowy cover and mention of the holiday. Instead, it's a captivating tale of Luna's quest to uncover the source of an unexpected insurance payment. Abandoning her family's Christmas plans, Luna embarks on a journey to Chamonix with her mother's ashes in tow and a dodgy fuel gauge in her car. Along the way, she finds friendship, romance, and surprising revelations about her mother's past. Leonie Mack's storytelling shines in this novel, with realistic characters, vivid descriptions of the mountain setting, and an emotional depth that keeps readers engaged. From the challenges faced by the mountain rescue team to Luna's own personal journey of bravery and determination, "Luna's Windfall" is an exceptional read that will leave you thoroughly captivated.

This is a book that is intense and full of snow and sounds like a good place to ski with good rescue if you get in trouble lovely ending for Luna after much searching for her father and much happiness to follow

Great festive season rom com for Christmas time. The storyline and writing style was amazing. Characters were very loveable
