A cheese maker named Brie throws a love potion, hitting a werewolf named Felix… he is sure she is his mate, but could it just be the potion..oh and did I mention he’s allergic to cheese!
This is another fun romance adventure in the village of Cin and her now dragon husband. Once again it is a good quick read that lightens the mood with a side of spice.

Thank you to Orbit Books via NetGalley for a digital copy of the rerelease.
Fun, adorable, and self aware! Lemming has such a great blend of humor and romance, yet still having weight of modern politics addressed in her fantasy realm. I enjoyed how consent was addressed through this text and the complexity of it addressed through magic as a tool to provide commentary on such an important issue.
Brie and Felix had great chemistry, a bit of a grumpy/sunshine dynamic (she's the grump, he's the sunshine) and the friendships were quite sweet as well. Also, I wanted to eat so much while reading the fantastic food descriptions!
I wish more romantasy embraced humor the way Lemming did. I laughed our loud more than once reading this book. Reccomneded to those who love romance novels and love to laugh!

I love this author! This book was so much fun to read! I’m looking forward to more books by this amazing author!

This is the second book in the series about women hooking up with supernatural creatures. You don’t have to have read the first one to understand what is going on here, but it helps if you do. Once again, this is not a clean romance. The characters spend time doing a slow burn of what they will do to each other, and then go ahead and do it, with wild abandon.
In this book, as the title says, a werewolf gets dosed with love poition and feels that he has met his mate. Brie, however, does not feel the same, and knows that it is probably the love potion doing things to him, so spends quite a bit of time trying to find a curer for what ales him.
Oh, and all while trying to find who is kidnapping young women in the village, and what are they doing with them?
The dialouge is fun. The adventure is exciting, and if you don’t want to read what the two of them will do when they get their hands on each other, you can always skip those bits to get to the real story.
I started this book straight after reading the first one, the writing was so smooth, and situations so much fun, I had to know what was going on in this world.
Previously self-published, this book is coming out from Orbit Books on the 6th of February. Thanks to Netgalley for making this book available for an honest review.

That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf (amazing title) is the sequel to That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon (also a good title). Brie, cheesemonger and Cinnamon's BFF from the first book, accidentally yeets a love potion at a person who turns out to be a werewolf. At the same time, he imprints on Brie. The two have to figure out how to reverse the love potion to figure out if the imprinting is real.
I fully intended to read this book without reading the first one, but I started the book and had no idea what was going on so I decided to read the first one. I'm glad I did! I'm sure you can just go with it without having to read the first one, but I had a better time knowing more about what was going on.
And what was going on... was weird! To be honest, I don't usually read books like this (i.e. tentacles out of nowhere, knotting, etc) and this book didn't really make me want to read more. I did enjoy the first one more than this one. The characters were fine, the quest okay, and the spiciness so strange that I skipped most of it. I tried going with it as much as possible, it was still just okay for me. I honestly wanted more drunken mishaps! Give me more yeeting!!
Otherwise, I thought this book was okay and not really for me. I do recommend it if you want a fun, fast, and bonkers read! 2.5 stars from me rounded up to 3. Thank you to Orbit Books and NetGalley for the electronic advanced reader's copy of this book, my thoughts are my own!

That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf is a great follow-up to That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon. It follows the new main characters Brie and Felix through their blooming relationship after Brie hits Felix upside the head with a love potion as the title states.
Pros:
The Spice is impeccably written
I can't tell you how many times I had to stop reading because I couldn't breathe I was laughing so hard
The world building on top of the first book is smooth and easy to follow.
The characters are easy to grow attachments to and you feel for their plights.
Cons:
I wish the story was more balanced and didn't feel like the first 2/3's revolved around Smut and the last 1/3 was the meat of the story.
The Spice felt a bit rushed. I love Smutty stories as much as the next person but It shouldn't feel like that's all I'm reading
Overview:
Overall this is a great story and the issues I found with it Don't detract from my enjoyment of the story, I just wish It didn't feel like It was only funny smut for the majority of the book.
I would still Highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoyed the first book or just enjoys Monster smut books as there is definitely no shortage of it in this book

I read and loved the first Mead Mishap, and now I am obsessed with the series. I thought it couldn't get better than the first book, it was perfection itself. I was wrong. We get loving quirky silly joyful storylines AND we get to question the ethics of love potions and the ideologies behind brewing them! Can't tell any more than that though, spoilers ;)
This book series knows exactly what it is and revels in the silliness in a way I think we all need.
Everything about this series reminds me what love and sex are supposed to be about at their core, play! Having fun and playing with your partner, being silly and sharing favorites and creating new ones, being spontaneous and giggling together at yourselves and moaning together and sharing joyful innocent play.
Thank you, Kimberly Lemming. I WILL be back for the next installment.
And thank you netgalley, for a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was an absolute delight of a read. I was blushing, I was giggling, I was terrified of deer ghouls and dreaming of lemon meringue pie. If you're looking for a sweet, spicy, campy magical romance, this is exactly what you want.

I love every book in this series a little more each time I read it. This was my second time reading this book and not only does it hold up, but I was delighted the entire time. It is so great to see such an amazing author move from Kindle Unlimited to traditional publishing - Kimberly Lemming deserves nothing but the best.
This book like the first one, is filled with cozy adventure and just the most perfect Main Characters that I never want to leave. I appreciated the depth that we see with both Brie and Felix - we see them have concern for each other in a way that was so refreshing. I personally really connected with Brie's struggle to drop her walls for someone whose feelings might only be magically induced.
This book is hilarious, heartfelt, raunchy, and just perfect. I love this book and I can't wait for the next one (and hopefully the many many more after that).

Thank you to NetGalley and Orbit Books for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Another quick, fun fantasy romance from Kimberly Lemming! Plenty of spice in this one too. The creativity of the insults hits me in just the right spot and I love how the characters interact. If you are looking for something light with plenty of spice I definitely recommend!
I'm excited to continue and see who the next book focuses on!

I loved Felix and Brie in That Time I Got Dunk and Saved a Demon so I was excited to read this book. It was cute and funny story just like the first Mead Mishaps tale but had just enough mystery to keep you wondering what will happen. I enjoyed this one a bit more simply because I am a werewolf girl and find Felix and Brie to be even more adorable. These are such fun books to read and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

The Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf is a cozy fantasy romance featuring Brie the cheesemaker and Felix the werewolf. Their romantic entanglement begins when Brie hits Felix with a love potion. This leads Felix to believing that he has imprinted on Brie, but Brie feels that his affections lie in the magic of the potion.
This book interweaves humor and steamy monster romance masterfully. Brie's bookshelf of werewolf romance novels had me cackling, up to the moment that Felix began using that to "entice" her. The steam in this book escalates from the first, but I also felt that the romance was rushed. I think this is an issue we see often with werewolf romances and the love potion only exacerbated this. I would have liked to see more tension and build up to the inevitable breaking point Brie and Felix reach.
I enjoyed the fantasy that is woven as a subplot to the romance. The talking sword was a funny addition and added realism to Brie's abilities, who has never before done adventure or sword play. Yet again, the cast of characters takes down a cult, which is theme I actually enjoy as a return plot point.

Brie may have made a tiny oops. She was trying to throw a drink at a creep in the bar when she missed hitting the unsuspecting werewolf bystander. Oh and that drink? It just happened to be a love potion. Surprise! Now Brie has to deal with the werewold who’s convinced they’re mates all while investigating the women who have gone missing around town.
Lemming has done it again! This was an amazing paranormal, smutty, just plain fun book to read. Felix is such a sweet, cinnamon roll even if he makes some questionable decisions. We’ll blame the love potion. His relationship with the dragon shifters have some of the best moments especially when Dante is imparting a specific form of magic. I also love Brie’s character. She doesn’t need any bad dates or male nonsense. She’s content to live her life and enjoy her shifter romance novels. Who wouldn’t love that? I loved watching their relationship develop as they explored what the potion meant vs being fated mates all of this made even more hilarious when a certain talking sword enters the picture deciding to commentate their steamy interactions. Seriously, I did not have a talking sword obsessed with seeing half naked men on the beach on my reading card, but I’m here for it now. Overall, this story is pure smutty fun, and I highly recommend reading it. You won’t be disappointed.

This book is absolutely adorable and perfectly spicy. I am obsessed with this world, these lovable characters, and all of their shenanigans. It's a cozy fantasy but for the monster romance fans, and I was here for it!!
5 star read for me, and a 3/5 on my personal spice scale.

Loved this book. I love this whole series. I couldn’t wait to read about Brie and Felix.
This book was so cute and fun and I loved the relationship between Brie and Felix. I also loved seeing Cin and Fallon make some appearances in this book as well.
100% recommend for anyone who likes cozy fantasy with some spice.

Cheese maker named Brie accidentally throws a love potion at literal golden retriever (werewolf), Felix, who is allergic to cheese? Perfect 😍
A fun and spicy monster romance that kept me entertained the whole way through! I wish I had known it was a sequel so I could read the first one and get the full story and understand the world but you don’t need it to read this and have a good time.
I love how the concept is set up and we jump right in to the conflict of Felix being madly in love and imprinting on Brie (maybe because of the love potion, maybe not!). There is also a wonderful cast of other characters who made me laugh and excited for future installments in this world.
My one advice- don’t try and take this book too seriously. It is meant to be silly and full of tropes.
I received a copy of this book from the publisher and NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

If Kimberly writes it, I will read it.
Believe it or not this book was even more bonkers than the first and I loved every minute of it. It was legitimately laugh out loud funny.
Felix is as close to a literal golden retriever boyfriend as you can get. He was just so darn cute and I love how much he loves Brie and isn’t at all phased by the love potion. His dynamic with Brie had me cracking up.
I don’t know that I would exactly call this a grumpy sunshine book but Brie was certainly the more level headed and pragmatic of the two. Which made the absolutely bonkers turns this book took even more hilarious.
I was so happy to see so many familiar faces, especially the unforgettable Alexis.
I can’t wait for the next book in this series!

The dynamic between Brie and Felix is more steamy than sweet which I usually don't necessarily like but this book manages to pull it off. I actually like their dynamic and felt like there was enough plot to balance out the steamier elements.
Thanks to netgalley for this read.

These book are fucking wild and I loved them so much.
I think the plot of these book are so wildly funny, the author does a good job or mixing plot and romance. I want a wolf that loves me this much.

Once I started reading, I couldn't put this book down. The writing was clean and focused—a quick, unencumbered read. The tone was light and fun—a slice-of-life with lots of action, romance and juicy bits.
Even the characters were delightfully diverse. This book covered different skin tones, different sexual orientations and different body types—a great job of encompassing multiple levels of diversity.
A fun, fast read that gave me with lots of smiles and giggles.
