This was such a good book by Kimberly. Felix and Bries story was hilarious and everything I didn’t know I needed in my life. I loved Felix golden retriever energy and his tail thumps. I love how possessive he was with Brie from the beginning. This book also had me laughing out loud and I think that’s what makes me really enjoy Kimberly’s writing and this whole world she created. I loved this story 😍

I really want to love this book, but it wasn’t my fav. The couple in this book were a bit boring and I just wasn’t invested in them. It was cute, but the insta love trope also isn’t my favorite. I do like how these are quick reads and good for a palate cleanser. Ultimately, it just wasn’t very entertaining.

While this didn't quite work for me, I can see why everyone has been raving about it! It's fun and funny, full of tongue-in-cheek humor. I can definitely see myself recommending this to patrons in the future.

I enjoyed this more than I thought I would and quite frankly got more than I bargained for. The title alone hints of what fun you’re about to embark on, I just didn’t expect the journey that it took me down. I absolutely recommend this book!

Ok first off this book was so much fun, and so cozy! I loved how cute, funny, and light hearted this story was. A short read, which I devoured in one sitting. I was hooked right from the beginning! Would definitely recommend this to anyone who needs a fun pallet cleanser read, or looking for something that doesn't take itself to serious.

This was a quick easy and enjoyable read. Brie and Felix cracked me up with their banter.
Thank you NetGalley and Orbit Books for the opportunity to read this eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a very fun. Read. I laughed too many times. I loved the title as well. I think there will be a second book in the series and I cannot wait

These books are just /fun/. I enjoyed this even more than the first book, possibly because we already know the world and the setup and got to spend more time with all of the characters as the plot mostly comes in at the end, but Brie is an absolute delight and I love getting to see everyone get to interact more (the dialogue is again, just /fun/ and the characters truly feel like they know and love each other). As before, she feels like a real person you'd be friends with, and I adore the fact that she devours romance books of all stripes with absolutely no shame or scorn from anyone and that Felix 100% supports her and leans into that (the fact that we get shadow tentacles in a werewolf book is /delightful/ to me). Also she saves the world with omegaverse??? A huge plus in my book.

Love the new cover. This entire series so far is absolutely hilarious. Brie is the best friend of Cinnamon from book one. I feel personally connected to her in so many ways. Felix is the most golden retriever of all golden retriever MMC and I’m HERE FOR IT. I loved every hilarious, kink filed, feminist driven second of this story.

That time I got drunk and yeeted a love potion at a werewolf- 2.75⭐️3🌶️

I was so excited to get the ARC for this book. I have seen rave reviews for this series all over tiktok. Unfortunately, the story didn’t quite live up to the hype. The medieval vibes with modern duologue and slang didn’t fit as nicely as I had hoped. But I was better adjusted to it after reading the first book.
This was a werewolf shifter romance. One where the FMC was obsessed with werewolf shifter books, so she kept breaking the fourth wall to talk about her book plots and comparing them to her life. It was tongue in cheek and irreverent, but in an annoying way.
The world building was barely there and what was there was so slap-dash that much of it was sidelined bad dialogue and rushed plot. The end seemed so out of place with what the whole rest of the book was about. Far too intense for the tone of the book.
I wanted to like this. But I just didn’t.

This is not something I would typically read, but the title drew me in! This book was laugh out loud funny from beginning to end. I didn’t realize until halfway through this is the second book in the series, but it was definitely doable to read as a stand-alone. I’ll be reading the first book in this soon!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest opinion!

I didn't think I could love this book more than the first one but some how Kimberly Lemming has done it, she made this one better. This book feels like drinking a hot beverage. Not quite a coffee or tea though, maybe something like a hot toddy, something with a little kick, but still delicious and toasty. This book is centered around Brie (who is a cheese maker, which I love) and her (literal) golden retriever boyfriend. This book is cute and cozy and perfect for any werewolf lovers.

Fun and cozy(ish). This second entry into the Mead Mishaps series gives readers a fantasy series filled with the kind of pop-culture references and modern language that make rom-coms infectiously funny.

Life in Brie’s village has gotten rather weird with the demon invasion that’s going on and the rather unflattering true about their former goddess. Living amongst the demons who are mostly male is weird but not a huge problem until Brie tossing a love potion and it hits a werewolf. Now she’s responsible for trying to keep him alive. Which might be easier if the werewolf in question wasn’t so hard to resist. But she knows none of it’s real of course he’s been drugged... doesn’t stop her from catching some feelings. And as if falling for a werewolf wasn’t enough craziness women in the village and in other nearby villages have been going missing. Is it the work of the demons or something much more sinister?
This is where we are introduced to Alexis the magical talking sword and she is always hilarious and ready and willing to look at any naked man in her vicinity.
I love this series I could never get enough of it

I loved the first one and wanted to continue reading! These are books that will have you laughing! I actually enjoyed this one more than the first :)

This book had me laughing from start to finish. It had the perfect amount of insta love and cheesy lines.
I really enjoyed the overall plot as well as the "PLOT". IYkYk.
The characters were all likeable and fun

For a story that's about your typical "werewolf falls in love with human girl" plot, that also includes a lot of the tropes that lean into toxic, controlling behavior, I was pretty shocked with how wholesome and, for the most part, consensual this story was. Even with one of the plot points that deals minorly with non-consensual things, I felt, for the short story this is, it was handled pretty well. I really enjoyed that Felix was aware of his overbearing attitude the whole time and how he was borderline stalking Brie after the potion/fated mate incident, but, again, the story did a great job being very aware of it and showcasing how you can have a potentially helicopter partner where both sides of the relationship are aware and in open communication about their needs and wants.

Thank you NetGalley and Orbit Books for this arc
3/5 stars
Ok, these books are definitely for a certain type of reader, of which I am definitely not lol. The actual storyline only really got interesting about 68% into the book, but luckily this is an incredibly fast read. One reason it's so fast though is bc I skimmed over the smut- he's a werewolf so of course he knots (I'm so not into this lol) and 99% of the time they mention her 🐱 the c u next Tuesday word is used and I HATE that word-but I'm sure someone else will enjoy it lol
One thing though, oh maaaannn where is the editor?? Y'all have WAY TOO MANY fragmented sentences in this book. The first one was edited so much better than this. There weren't too many at the start but as you kept going there were more and more. If you want readers to enjoy a book, you need to find an editor who will do their job plz thankss

Sexy, silly, and hilarious, Lemming really finds a clear voice in this novel!
The demons have all moved into the town of Boohail, for better or for worse, and all Brie wants is a bit of peace and quiet. Unfortunately, her scoundrel neighbor barking up the wrong tree and attempting to roofie her with a love potion sends the cup flying and covering werewolf Felix. Now convinced he's her fated mate, Brie has more than she can handle with women in their small town missing and a werewolf who is destined to win her heart like the smutty romance novels she collects.
Lemming really finds her voice in book two with reeling in the ambitious plots in favour a more at home flavor of romantacy and light mystery. It felt cozy, sexy, and had me smiling ear to ear throughout. It also avoids the pitfalls of the cozy genre that it does have a plot that can keep readers engaged for more than just the spice.
Was it a nail biter? You bet, my favorite of the series so far! 4.5/5

absolutely ADORE this series!! There is nothing better than a funny, cozy monster romance. The vibes were certainly delivered 😊 and Kimberly has made a fangirl out of me ♥️
This is a great comfort series that will make you want to get your fluffiest blanket or sweater while snuggling to read.

The spice is so well written. Some books make the sex scenes kind of cringey but this is not the case with this series. It’s so HOT 😩🥵 you will be gripping sheets and fanning yourself like a sinner in church 🤭
