This author has officially made it to my top ten favorites of the year! The story balanced the romance and plot beautifully! There’s an irresistible charm to the characters that you just can’t help, but be drawn to from beginning to end. The romance was definitely enchanting as well! Just enough spice to keep you blushing and enough sweetness to have you kicking your feet up in the air. I highly recommend reading this book if you are looking for a light, quick, adventurous, and steamy fantasy read!

This being my second book by lemming I can say that I love the worlds that she creates. They are so kooky and fun and fit the characters perfectly. I will say I enjoyed the side characters more than the main characters. Although this was cute and fun I am not too sure how memorable this will be for me in a few months. That being said I definitely recommend this to anyone that is looking for a cute, funny, and lighthearted read that is fast paced and will make you smile.
Thank you so much to the publisher and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

This novella was fun and zany though ultimately lacked much substance and worldbuilding for me. Part of this may be my fault since I did not read the first book in this series so maybe I would have found more substance if I had.
It's instalove on Felix's part (probably) due to the love potion but I was surprised at how fast Brie also fell in love with him. I actually think this book would work a lot better for me in full novel form. This was just too short for me to get invested in either of the characters.
It's also potentially my current mood but it also seemed a book that tried REALLY HARD to be funny, in a way that I couldn't help but notice. I guess if I had different expectations here I would have enjoyed this more or waited for when I was in a mood for a book like this.
Thank you to Netgalley and Orbit Books for the eARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I received a digital copy of this book for Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion.

I accidentally read That Time I Got Drunk And Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf before reading any of the other books in the Mead Mishaps series, but it was still very enjoyable! Kimberly Lemming clearly does well writing an ensemble cast of characters. The plot itself is absurd and hot and funny. This is my first foray into the monster romance world, and I will be continuing my journey. I also loved that our main character is someone other than a tiny delicate white woman.

I truly enjoyed the hell out of this book!
“Who abandoned you sweetheart? I’ll bring you his head.”
I NEARLY FELL OVER. Felix is a golden retriever boyfriend and I love him for it.
What led to my 4 star rating is that I felt the beginning of the book, before Felix showed his wonderful tail, drug a bit and I found myself a little bored.

4 stars
4 spice (remember, this is a monster romance. Just to be prepared!)
This book is as whimsical and fun as the title suggests!
Brie is a cheesemaker in the small village of Boohail. After getting thoroughly annoyed by a guy who DOES NOT GET THE HINT and buys her a drink anyway, she throws said drink at him. All is well and good, except she misses the jerk and hits a werewolf instead. And it happens that this drink was spiked with a love potion. Now she has to convince a werewolf that she’s not his fated mate. If that wasn’t enough, women start disappearing from Boohail.
Seriously, this book is so fun. It’s fast-paced and hilarious. I stopped to laugh or read a piece out loud to my partner so we could giggle together. Despite some serious themes, this was a lighthearted read that was a pure delight. I FLEW through it and can’t wait to read the third book! I think the phrase “palette cleanser” is a perfect descriptor for this book. Read it when you need something light and fun.
I would recommend reading the first book, That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon, first. The second can be read as a standalone, but you will get a few spoilers for the first book if you read it beforehand.
My one issue was with some of the spicy scenes. Some of the word choices took me out of the moment (“shoved” and “bounce” aren’t words I like when reading spice, it just sounds uncomfortable!). Other than that, it was great and I loved every other moment.
Thank you NetGalley and Orbit for providing me a copy of this ARC!

I am absolutely obsessed with Kimberly Lemming's writting. The characters are deep and well written. For this book to be less than 300 pages. I am more entralled then some books 700+ pages! If you're looking for a little smut mixed with high adventure, you have found your match.

Okay, I enjoyed the first book in this series, but I LOVED this one! It isn’t often that a sequel surpasses the first book for me, but I am absolutely obsessed with Felix and Brie.
I enjoyed the love potion dilemma in this book and how Felix handled it. I also enjoyed that there was a background mystery plot going on that kept you interested in the overall world.
Now I neeereed the next one.

I gave this book 4 stars on Goodreads. I enjoyed this book, although I loved the two main characters in the first book more. The talking blade made me laugh and I wished I could have my own. Brie and Felix made this a sweet cozy read and I can’t wait for the next book!

This was fun! It was just a fun, quirky fantasy romance that doesn't take itself too seriously, with lots of modern slang, slapstick comedy and a smidgeon of spice (that honestly felt a bit out of place). I picked this up without having read the first book, but I wasn't lost at all and would definitely go back and read the rest of the series.

This one wasn't for me but I think readers that enjoy a breezy, tongue-in-cheek fantasy with a moderately high spice level will find a lot to like here. Shifter romance fans that prefer less angst and more humor might also want to give this series a try.
The style is reminiscent of Kill the Farm Boy but with more spice and less less worldbuilding and character depth. The whirlwind pace and lack of depth put me off somewhat but may be exactly what some readers are looking for.

This book was so fun! I knew when the first paragraph talked about potatoes and chucking them at a man that I would love this book. The humor was great and good lord the phrases the characters used brought me to tears I was laughing so hard. The chemistry between Felix and Brie, loved it. Also want to say I appreciate how Kimberly Lemming names her characters, Like Brie who sells cheese has the name of a cheese, it's just great. I can't wait to read more of her books.

THE TENTACLES SCENE 🥵😅 so good. I’m having a fantastic time with these books.
I wasn’t sure if the Mead Mishaps books were standalones or if the story continued in each of them, but I’m so glad they’re connected and we got to spend time with Fallon and Cinnamon in this one as well!

Much like the first book, this one is just an utter delight to read. The banter and supporting characters are top notch and make this boom even more enjoyable. Seriously, can I just have a series on the adventures of Alexis? Fave character.
Brie and Felix were fun to read and even with the insta love, they worked. Also Felix is the ultimate golden retriever boyfriend and it is amazing. My only wish is that this book was a bit longer because the story feels a bit rushed.

It reads easily and flows well and doesn’t take itself seriously, which is just fun. I stopped after chapter 1 (11%), but easy three stars and four to five for the target audience.
Thank you to NetGalley and Orbit for the ARC.

Thank you Netgalley for this arc!
This is my second book by this author. I am new to this genre, albeit, the author all together. I liked this a lot and would recommend this as a nice palette cleanser. The vibes are everything

I was so excited to jump back into the world of Mytheglin, Kimberly Lemming’s writing style and characters are perfectly suited for funny, lighthearted and spicy reads. Brie’s obsession with paranormal romance *coughmosterporncough* is more relatable than anything else I’ve ever read in this genre. I loved watching her feelings and relationship develop despite pesky little love potions and self doubt. Felix was the perfect cinnamon bun of a werewolf that was all too willing to lean into Brie’s previously mentioned obsession. He worshipped Brie like the queen she is!
The underlying plot of missing girls didn’t feel quite as high-stakes as Cinnamon’s quest from book 1 but who wouldn’t enjoy Mytheglin’ incel population being thoroughly butt-whooped?? The ending and the missing girls plot did feel a bit rushed and the relationship between Brie and Felix was the overshadowing focus of the book but I’m not going to complain about it too much. Once again Lemming gave me exactly what I wanted and needed from her stories.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️4.5/5 stars
I devoured this book!! The spice was right 🥵 and the cameo of a character from Mistlefoe was perfect!! I will definitely read on audiobook like I did her other tales. The tentacle scene had me in a frenzy I tell you!!
I have been loving cozy fantasy lately and this one beats the rest with the added spice and black FMCs.
The fluffy pet names given to the FMC are hilarious btw.

I have read this book probably 100 times!!! It is easily my favourite of the series and is hysterically funny!
The spice, hilarity and chaos come in equal parts and they pack a punch!!! It will leave you blushing and giggling and kicking your feet to laughing so hard your stomach hurts, lemmings quick wit and oh so lovable characters will leave you wanting more! Felix is my himbo baby and Brie is hilariously relatable, I always find myself coming back to Felix and Brie’s story!

**Thank you Orbit books for the opportunity to read the new updated version of this book!**
Oh man, this book was a hilarious adventure! I love Kimberly Lemming’s writing. The book reads like a video game if told from the side characters and the characters are hilarious. I love how we got updates from the pair in the first book too. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series and am so glad I finally read this book!
Brie is a relatable character who reminds me of all us Booktok girls who got into monster romance.
Felix is an adorable cinnamon roll character who just wants to do right by his mate. Together they are the perfect fit.
