Brie, a cheese business owner, accidentally triggers Felix’s (a werewolf) desire to imprint with a mis-aimed drink that happened to be a love potion. Her business keeps her busy enough already and with women in her village beginning to disappear, she doesn’t have time for the added challenge of persuading a lactose-intolerant werewolf that they aren't destined mates. While she initially can’t wait for the love potion to wear off, Brie begins to warm up to the idea of a strong, handsome man doing her chores and showering her with unending compliments.
While somehow this book seemed more explicit in its spicy-ness, the grumpy-sunshine personalities of the main characters were pretty entertaining. We still got to see a fair amount of the main characters from the first book and how the actions from that story continued to play out. Similarly to the first book, the non-romance plot felt underdeveloped and I kinda of didn’t care about it until it directly engaged the MCs.
Overall, it was a quick read at about 200 pages. I will likely read the 3rd book at some point to close out the series. Again, if you approach this book as a spicy read wrapped up in a short, cozy, fantasy package, you’ll be setting yourself up well.
Overall, I’d rate this 3 stars.
NetGalley, Kimberly Lemming, and Orbit, thank you for the ARC of this re-published book.

Huge thank you to NetGalley and Orbit books for allowing me to read this early!
I had originally read this series when it was self published and was so excited when I heard it got picked up by Orbit! This is a great second addition to the series. With a similar style and premise as the first in the series this book takes a life of its own with new characters. Lemmings writing has improved so much since I originally read this book. I’m very much looking forward to what she writes next!

I want more books set in this universe. The dialogue and banter are excellent, the romance is lovely, and the characters are an absolute blast. The story picks up right after the first book and all of our favorite characters are back. We even get introduced to Alexis! I need more Alexis! I love everything about Kimberly's writing it is like your best friend is telling you a sotry.

All of our favorite characters from book one is back in That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf.
When Brie accidentally hits Felix in the head with a love potion, Felix believes he has found his fated mate. Felix must convince Brie that they are meant to be together (love potion be damned). However, when women start to go missing in the village, Brie and Felix must figure out where the women have gone and why.
I think I enjoyed this book more than the first. I loved Felix as a main character. He was more like a golden retriever with his antics to get Brie to trust him. I also enjoyed the chemistry between Felix and Brie. This story focused more on the romance than book one and still had all of the main characters that I loved in the first story. Overall, this series has been full of fun and spicy romance and comedic situations. I cannot wait to find out what happens when Dante finds his mate in the next book.
That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf will be rereleased on February 6th, 2024.
Thank you to NetGalley and Orbit Books for the opportunity to review That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Super fun, light, and sexy. Is there a corny sense of humor in this? Hell yeah but honestly, it is part of the charm. If you are looking for something incredibly entertaining and silly, this is it. I really love this book and think it is a very strong continuation of the first book. All of the characters are very funny and adorable. The spice is absolutely fabulous. Call Kimberly lame as one of my favorite romance author is because her books are just so lighthearted! It is the perfect break if you're looking for something sexy and amusing.

So thought this book was okay the humor was there and the smut was there but I feel like the humor was dragged out and it wasn’t a personality among an individual in the book. I didn’t need multiple pov I wish it stayed with brie and Felix. And also I didn’t see Fallon as an angry person in the first book why is he now. Overall great book tho.

I was sold on this book the second I saw that Felix is lactose intolerant. It was such a cute read that developed their relationship quickly due to the fated mates trope. I giggled every time Felix lost control and shifted and Brie just mostly rolled with the punches.
I appreciated the plot line of rescuing the missing women but it did feel slightly rushed in the end.

that time i got drunk #2 was missing some of the d&d intrigue and general plot elements of that time i got drunk #1, but it was just as fun and steamy. the new baddie being a group of incels that got their shit kicked was a delight. while they weren't very threatening in the end, their downfall was so fun to watch. never in my life would i have expected the heroine to save the day with *checks notes* the omegaverse??? 5 stars

Listen....without a doubt Brie 1000% is a booktok girlie. This is my favorite book in the series so far. How can you not love her!? Listennnnnn, the finale battle could not have been more perfect. I have not laughed so hard at a boss battle fight in my life!
And Alexis....please please please give Alexis her own book. Alexis is literally my favorite literary/gaming sword EVER!
Better than Excalibur, the Master Sword, The Buster Sword, Falchion, the Light Saber, etc. Alexis is just so much cooler.
All this to say, I loved this book. Thank you Kimberly Lemming and Netgallery for letting me read this.

This book made me giggle. I love how protective he was and how silly it all still was. I love a spicy book with humor but also still a great story. This hit the mark. Can’t wait to read others in the series!

Thank you to the publish and NetGalley for the review copy of this book.
I enjoyed this one just as much as the first one, including on this reread thanks to Orbit picking up the series. I love the expansion of the world and how different kinds of demons are...well...different. Felix and Brie are great. This is a spicy read.
Rating 4/5

Such a fun quick read. I’m surprised how much can get packed in such a story. But this one is definitely my favorite. Brie, the best friend from book 1, is just trying to live her life and has a run in with a love potion. Enter, Felix. Werewolf who thinks, regardless of the potion that Brie is his mate. The story is sweet, funny, spicyyyyyy (tentacles!?! People. Tentacles in the best, non creepy way). Felix is easy to love, and Brie was a great continuation of the story!

I am so glad that I continued on with this series. Book one was good but book two is an utter delight.
Brie was just trying to have a nice night and get a guy to stop hitting on her when she accidentally threw a bottle and hit a werewolf in the head… the problem? That bottle was totally a love potion and now this werewolf thinks she’s his mate.
I had such a good time reading this. I absolutely devoured it from beginning to end. I LOVE the dual POV. I think it adds so much to the story to see both characters thoughts. Same as the last one, the worldbuilding is extremely light, but in this book, I didn’t mind it at all. I think this did a great job at balancing fantasy with romance. Also, the spice is good. It was good in the last book, but damn is it good in this one.
Overall, great fast read that is for sure a mood booster for anyone looking for a fun flirty romcom with a dash of fantasy.
4/5 stars
Thank you soo much to NetGalley and the publisher for the arc. While I appreciate the opportunity is did not in anyway impact the content of my review.

This was entirely fluff, Cozy, funny, cheesy, fluff and I loved every minute of it. It’s a very quick easy read and a great palette cleanser between other books. I Will definitely read the others in this series.

THE TENTACLES!! Need I say more. I loved this whole series and would read the next 20 of them if Kimberly Lemming decided to grace us with it. Felix is absolutely adorable and Brie is the embodiment of female bad ass power just like her predecessors. This world has a way of making me blush and laugh out loud. My baby Alexis needs her own story and I would gobble up every page of it. Love love love this world.

This one is about Brie- the main character's best friend from book one. It's entirely a stand-alone but you do see events from the first book referenced. Brie- a cheese maker is in lust/love with Felix- a lactose intolerant werewolf. Felix returns her feelings but she doesn't want to take advantage of him....
A very fun and LOL book. Lots of cute scenes. Felix is terrific and Brie is a strong heroine.
A very quick fun read. Thanks to the publisher for the arc

Another incredibly fun book in the Mead Mishaps series! This series is truly cozy fantasy romance perfection. So soft and humorous while still being romantic and hot. A werewolf with temporary tentacle magic and a romance novel loving heroine, Come on, that's just such a fun read!

This was a cute little romance. It didn’t have any intense world building in it (though it is the second book in a series) and was just a fun little read. I adored both of the main characters and felt that the pacing was pretty good throughout. Definitely a fun romance for anyone looking to unwind and curl up with a easy to read and enjoyable werewolf romance.

That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf was so much fun! I’ve been really lucky to get to read Kimberly Lemming’s work, and each cover is absolutely beautiful.
This is the perfect romance for a fantasy lover who wants something light and fun. In fantasy books I struggle with world building that feels too heavy and confusing, which this book does not suffer from! It’s easy to understand, with a fun adventurous plot and great characters.
thank you netgalley and Orbit Books for an eArc in exchange for an honest review.

Rolicking spicy fun brimming with snark, adventure, heat - werewolves and dragons. Second in the series and Brie finds her own brand of crazy fun saving kidnapped villagers and dealing with a love potion. Some real LOL moments and just genuine fun! And did I mention heat?
