After reading one book by this author I just knew I had to read another one! Just like the first one I found myself unable to put this book down!

I love Kimberly Lemming! Her books are so fun and funny and wonderful! That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf is a book that just makes you both want to read fast because it's so much fun and read slow because you don't want it to end. I cannot wait to read more from Lemming!

We need more fantasy rom-coms! I'm loving this series, Brie and Felix's story is fun and paced just right to keep readers engaged, and their banter and chemistry is top tier. The world building is light enough that even fantasy-phobic readers will find themselves wrapped up in this unique story.

In the second installment of the Mead Mishaps series, we focus on Cinn's best friend Brie who chunked a drink at someone's head only to hit a complete stranger. Oh yeah and it wasn't just any drink. It was a love potion. So now she is trying to convince said stranger (who coincidentally is a werewolf) that he is truly not in love with her, while he tries to tell her love potion or not...she is his fated mate. This book is just as fun and adventurous as the first and features another unconventional human/demon relationship. This book is 100% out of my typical comfort zone but I loved the first one so much I had to keep reading and it did not disappoint. The witty banter, the tasteful spice, the fantastical creatures....so good! Do yourself a favor and check out this series!

This series is so much fun. I loved getting to know Brie and Felix more in this book. I loved seeing them fall for each other. Brie's weapon to defeat the "big bad" was so amazing. I loved the glimpses we got of Cin and Fallon as well.

This was a cute story. It was like a slice of life with a little action thrown in. I enjoyed getting to read about old characters and new. The romance is cute and steamy. Overall I fun read.

Man these titles are getting out of hand. I love it. This is book 2 in the Mead Mishaps series that Orbit Books is republishing with beautiful new covers. It’s a cozy silly romantasy, obviously it’s a sequel so I can’t explain the plot too much but it’s a very lighthearted series with it’s spicy moments that includes the prominent monster romance.

That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf was a fantastic second installment in the Mead Mishaps universe. Kimberly Lemming has a true talent for creating characters that are lovable and hilarious all at once. It's such a delight to see characters come together and even the secondary characters are great! Brie and Felix are amazing together - especially love that Felix is lactose-intolerant. They're super cute together and they navigated the challenges with winning results! I would highly recommend the book to any reader who is looking for a truly hilarious rom-com with all the spicy and nice elements that are present in the other Mead Mishaps books.

Brie, Cinnamon’s cheese maker friend, has been pursued by a farmer she’s not interested with but the farmer won’t leave her alone. He forced Brie to drink a mysterious pink liquid but Brie threw the liquid instead… which accidentally hit a blond man named Felix.Turns out the liquid was a love potion.

So now Felix convinced Brie that she’s his fated mate but Brie wouldn’t buy it because what if that's only the effect of the love potion and Felix’s feeling would disappear after the 2 weeks period of the love potion’s effect ended?

On the other hand, women in their twenties have disappeared mysteriously from their village. So that’s another thing for them to be wary of. Fallon (THE dragon demon from the first book!!!) has been trying to track them with no avail. But the villagers can’t rest until the missing plague ends.

I think I’m invested in this series now, oh my God. It’s just pure fun, can’t even be critical because it’s clear that this series isn’t intended to be serious. I’m not usually fond of insta love but it’s so fun witnessing Felix relentlessly pursuing & flirting with Brie and Brie trying so hard to deny her feelings because of the love potion. Just a perfect combination of banter, romance, spice, and actions.

Also, ALEXIS THE ICONIC SWORD THAT YOU ARE!!!! I literally grinned when she came into scene lmao I hope that means we can meet Ruby & Lucca in the next book(s)

Felix and Bree were so cute together. As a follow-up to the first book, I love getting to know these two side characters and proves that any of the side characters can carry a story in this series. Plus the spice was not lacking at all. So excited to read the next book in the series.

Kimberly Lemming just has a way of making her fantasy stories seem relatable. This book had me wholeheartedly believing that I could accidentally end up with a fated wolf mate (if only!) just because some jerk in a bar tried to hit me with a love potion and it went wrong. I laughed so much while reading this. With optimal amounts of banter, backtalk, and booze, I have already been recommending this to everyone I know since chapter two. I have not been let down from book one to here, and I'm so eager to jump into the next one!

Y'all, Lemming continues to build this world through every book she releases, and I find it better each time. Plus, the cinnamon roll MMC trope is strong in this one, and there is nothing wrong with that! This book is perfect for anyone wanting an insta-love, spicy, laugh out loud read. I can't wait for the next one!

Thank you to Orbit and NetGalley for the arc!

Overall, I want to like this story but there are particular things that pull me out. Some of the slang used doesn’t fit the setting, talking about omegaverse, the cult seemed to be a thing out of D&D. I will read the third book to see how the series continues, but this is mediocre and could do with some fine tuning. I did like the story of Brie and Felix better than book 1.

This was my second time reading a book by Kimberly Lemming, and it did not disappoint. What can you expect from this book? An amazing female main character, funny characters with distinct personalities, and a creative world that Lemming does a good job of building. I binge read this books, because I never wanted to put it down. The plot of this story is fun and the story was so entertaining that I didn't want to stop reading. I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone.

I received a review copy from Orbit, I'm leaving this review voluntarily. I also purchased this book because of how much fun it was to read. Also this book wins for longest title ever. I initially read the indie published ebook back in 2022 and loved every moment.

Kimberly Lemmings Mead Mishaps series is absolutely madcap rom-com filled with relatable female main characters, male characters that are hilarious in their desire to woo their chosen female, and lots of food. In this one, Felix was in the line of fire when Brie through a love potion at someone who made her mad for not taking no for the answer it was, Felix falls head over heels, and had to convince Brie that he truly loves her and it's not just the love potion. Brie is the cheese maker....and poor Felix is lactose intolerant.

This follows in the wake of the adventures of Cinnamon and Fallon from the first book and all of the characters make an appearance.

If you like slightly crazy hysterical romantic comedies, then this is for you.

4.5 out of 5 stars.

I enjoyed this more the second time around. We have another story in the world of Mead Mishaps but this time we focus on Brie, who is Cinnamon's best friend, and Felix the werewolf. Brie avoids being drugged by her dirt bag neighbor who won't take a hint or "no" for an answer, by chucking the laced drink across the bar at Felix, and he falls for her instantly. In typical KL fashion this book is silly and over the top but also steamy. The new covers are a nice upgrade

A definite 3.5 but I’m rounding up here.

I really wished to listen to the audiobook of this one coz I loved the first but I couldn’t get my hands on it, so had to make do with the ebook. I went in with the right expectations this time around and it was an overall fun experience.

Not much different from the first, this book is instalust and instalove too but I wasn’t asking for anything else. Brie, the cheese maker (what a name) is imprinted upon by the familiar cheerful werewolf from book 1 Felix, after he is hit upon by a love potion. What follows is lots of cheesy romantic lines - straight out of the shifter romances that Brie loves, some very steamy/creative intimate scenes that made me blush, a horny talking sword, a mystery of missing young women, a cult of incels, and a surprise explanation of omega verse (yes, you heard that right..!!!!). And I absolutely died laughing at the way the big bad was defeated at the end.

I had a good time reading this book, especially on a day when I was feeling sick and this gave me all the laughs and joy I needed. I’m already looking forward to the third book eagerly.

This was such a fun comedic fantasy romance read! Brie was such a fun character and honestly who doesn’t love an OTT cinnamon roll werewolf MMC? This world is just such a fun escape and I can’t wait to read the next book!

A great addition to this series. I loved seeing these 2 get their story, even if the miscommunication or whatever you'd call it that was going on in the story wasn't my favorite trope.
