Really enjoyed this book. Mel has now woken from a coma, she has lost months of her life and her memory of the last eight years, which means she doesn’t remember her marriage to drummer Phil and the birth of her daughter or any of the band members or close friends, but there are some memories from her childhood that are coming to light and they paint a dark picture of her childhood.

This is another fabulous story in this series and I thoroughly enjoyed it, the romance and the suspense pulled together to have me turning the pages, I do highly recommend this book and the series to any lover of romantic suspense, I also am hoping that Craig gets his story.

I am loving this series, the setting is fabulous and the characters are so good and very easy to be friends with, the second book brings us Melissa’s story after being badly hurt in a car accident in the first book, Mel has now woken from a coma, she has lost months of her life and her memory of the last eight years, which means she doesn’t remember her marriage to drummer Phil and the birth of her daughter or any of the band members or close friends, but there are some memories from her childhood that are coming to light and they paint a dark picture of her childhood.

Phil is beyond devastated when Mel wakes up with no memory of him and their daughter, but he swears to do what he can to help bring them back, but the memories and dreams she is having are extremely scary and when there are break ins and mysterious phone calls it appears Mel has a stalker, there have also been the disappearance of friends and a couple of bodies have been discovered and even worse there seems to be a link between Mel’s past and the bodies.

Even though Mel cannot remember her marriage to Phil she somehow can feel the passion they shared and the more time they are together the more it grows, but there are many dark secrets from her past and people are coming for Mel. Will Phil and the other people at Stormhaven be able to keep Mel safe and will Mel get her memory back?

This is another fabulous story in this series and I thoroughly enjoyed it, the romance and the suspense pulled together to have me turning the pages, I do highly recommend this book and the series to any lover of romantic suspense, I also am hoping that Craig gets his story.

My thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for my copy to read and review.

I really couldn't get past the writing style here. Very choppy and full of sentence fragments. It got to the point that it was distracting me from the story, and I ended up DNFing because I just couldn't stop pointing out in my own head "there's another sentence fragment." or, "why are there four one word 'sentences' in a row?"

All in all, it could have been a good story, I just really can't get past that style of writing, it felt far too distracting.
