This was a fun book to look through on how to draw all sorts of things! The illustrations were very eye catching as well. My 9 yo really enjoyed this book, too, and learned quite a few new tips that she was excited about trying.

Thanks to NetGalley for the early review.

I have always wanted to learn how to draw; even small thing. I went thought the entire book to see what things I would be interested in drawing. There was so many but my fav was the ramen noodles and plants. I cant wait to relax with my wine and draw later. I really appreciate the author for making a book like this that is so different from what everyone else is doing!

I really love the artist's style, especially the lighter outlines that match the colouring.

There are a ton of examples in here on how to draw cute things with markers or digitally in procreate or other drawing programs.

I'd say this is for beginners who know how to draw and see shapes well already and who have experience with color matching and shading.

Very cool book! Definitely check this out if you like spot drawings. This could help you a lot if you do sticker design.

Thank you netgalley for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Great way to learn the basic structure and shapes in a drawing. Very cute drawings to choose from, I was able to draw a cute plant from these instructions. Overall very simple though I would have liked a little more detailed instructions, but a great tool for very cute ideas.

What a delight this book was! I had the opportunity to share it with my 10yo granddaughter (who loves to draw). She loved it, and she's a hard sell. The drawings are so cute, and I especially love that there were groupings, such as food items, outdoor items, etc. So, if someone wanted to make a whole drawing of various items, they have the tools. I adored this book, and I'm going to preorder.
Thank you to the author, Quarto Publishing, and Net Galley for a digital ARC of this title in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

Nice book with decent instructions. I found it helpful to learn to draw. Sometimes I wished for more detailed instructions, but I believe anyone who is not total beginner like me will not miss anything.

This book starts by focusing on the tools and techniques recommended by the author. This is with regards to physical drawing as opposed to digital drawing however I imagine the sketching skills would easily transfer.

The book is in the style of kawaii with cute colourful sketches. There’s a number of chapters including the kitchen (and food), bakery/cafe (and baked goods), Japanese themed items, garden, cute animals, school, seasons,

This is one of the most comprehensive drawing books I’ve seen with a huge variety of items to try

I love the expansive collection of things to draw in this book, it really felt there was something of everything to learn to draw. The steps were easy to follow but in need of a little more breaking down for the newbies - as someone who isn't very artistically gifted, I found the instructions took a big jump to a finalised product in some cases. I absolutely love how bright & colourful it is, all the colours make me happy. Overall a really adorable & useful little book.

If there's one thing to know about me, I'm instantly drawn to anything cute. If there's another thing, I've been trying (unsuccessfully) to learn how to draw and create art. So naturally, this book is everything I love (and need). The art style is absolutely adorable, and Olga Ortiz does a beautiful job at teaching!

The instructions are clear, and I love that there are step-by-step pictures to follow so that I can look at the imagery even when I think a step may have been missed. I especially loved that there was a wide variety of things to draw. Sweet Drawing is a guide I will definitely come back to and sit down with and use as a resource as I try to learn how to draw.
