I liked this, a little Bringing Up Baby inspired, and loved the two leads. I think sometimes it went on too long with the side characters but that paide off in the end,

Every Duke Has His Day had me hysterically laughing! A poodle meet cute that pulls a duke into a lake? Sold. However, you'll be happy to know the vile in his pocked didn't burst and dissolve his pants. I loved following Michael and Elizabeth's adventure to save their dogs. Their skills truly complimented each other and I liked how they made each other better. I also liked that Jimmy got his own storyline and wasn't just a black and white villain. Additionally, I would read a whole book about Michael's butler! He was one of my favorite characters! I do wish that we had seen a little more heat between Michael and Elizabeth. I don't mind a closed door romance but I do like to know that the couple has passion even if we don't see it. I liked the attraction here but I we didn't get to see how it turned out. Also wouldn't the duke trying to explain sex to Elizabeth have been hilarious? Despite that, I still highly recommend this one for the comedy alone!

I listened to the audiobook version of this title and Mark Meadow's the narrator did a great job! This one is single narrator for those who have a preference!

This is a really fun story! It's a light, fluffy read. The characters were quirky and cute. Michael and Bitsy had great chemistry and banter. I also loved how the poodles were basically characters instead of just props. You get to see their personalities, which I enjoyed as a dog person. The side characters were well built out... I even found myself rooting for the dognapper!

I enjoyed the multi-POVs and I felt that the narrator did a good job of differentiating the voices and narration to fit the POV.

Thank you to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for providing an eARC of this audiobook!

I really wanted to like this book, and it is a good one to curl up with and slow down from a hard day. The narrator is perfection, although it does take some time to get used to an exclusively male narrator for multiple POVs. His depiction of the Elizabeth “Betsy”, the female lead, is a bit ridiculous, but I loved his portrayal of the “villain,” Peter. It was perfect and really vibed with the book itself. The regency England vibe was also appealing, and the narrator does have a nice British accent. I would honestly love to hear more books narrated by him.

However, the story drags on and on. It could have been done in half the pages. It is essentially the story of two dogs being dognapped. Although it is advertised as a romance, it is a VERY slow burn and little to no spice at all. The MMC is supposed to be some sort of scientist, and the FMM is supposed to be the diamond of the season - the one everyone is after.

Ultimately, it was a DNF for me. I couldn’t take the same scenarios happening over and over, and the dognapping eventually lost its appeal. There needed to be more spark and development between the two characters, because the plot was seriously lacking.

Overall, it a 3/5 stars for me. I liked the idea of it, and I did enjoy listening to it, but I just found some of the other aspects uninteresting.

Super cute! I will say, I was surprised by the single male narrator! Usually if there is just one narrator, its a female. And so, that shocked me for a minute, I found it a little more difficult to follow along between characters because of that. I do not ever listen to just male narrators. And the book was also very, very low spice, so if you like explicitly spicy books, this is not for you. That being said, this book was delightfully entertaining. The plot stayed upbeat and fun, and the characters were quirky and funny. I enjoyed the dog subplot, it kept things interesting. Overall, very cute book, very entertaining, and even though it took me a minute to get used to the male narrator, he was very pleasant to listen to!

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for this audio ARC. I should have known I wouldn't like this if the dogs were poodles.

Thank you Netgalley and Dreamscape for this ALC!

- I was not expecting to love this book, but I found it so fun to listen to! It had some absolutely ridiculous hijinks with a sweet romance throughout.
- The narrator was great! His voice for Peter was incredibly awful in the best way, and he did a great job of switching between all of the different English accents.
- There's a subplot with a bonus romance that I wasn't expecting, but it was so sweet!
- I loved the way the relationship between the two MCs developed! Throughout the search for the dogs, they have such fantastic adventures, and it's so fun to see what they get up to!
- If you like dogs and dog training, you would really enjoy this one!
- The epilogue was not what I was expecting, but it felt like such a perfect wrap-up!

This book wasn't for me. I like my romance with a small amount of mystery not the other way around. This book had a silly premise, two dogs being switched then kidnapped, and that is basically what the whole book is about. I'm just not that interested in dog mysteries.
