Natalie Barelli’s *Finders Keepers* is a psychological thriller that hooks readers from the very first page and refuses to let go. With a blend of suspense, unreliable narration, and unexpected twists, Barelli crafts a gripping tale about deception, greed, and the moral dilemmas surrounding a seemingly innocent discovery.

The story follows Evie, an ordinary woman who stumbles upon a bag full of cash—a find that could change her life. But as she debates whether to keep it, a series of unsettling events unfold, pulling her into a dangerous web of secrets and lies. The more she tries to justify her actions, the more tangled and suspenseful the plot becomes.

Barelli excels at creating complex, flawed characters who make questionable choices, making readers question what they would do in the same situation. The pacing is tight, with short chapters that keep the tension high and make it nearly impossible to put the book down. Every twist is carefully placed, ensuring that just when you think you have it figured out, the story takes another unexpected turn.

For fans of domestic thrillers and fast-paced suspense novels, *Finders Keepers* delivers a compelling and addictive read. If you enjoy books by authors like Gillian Flynn or Liane Moriarty, this one should be on your list.

I am so happy I was able to have this story in audio book format. Playing it while cleaning the house, I would find myself stop what I am doing just to listen to it even more closely. To me it enhanced the whole story. But man, sometimes I felt like I wanted to reach into my phone and just shake Rose some times. This was such a fast story for me. Also, having a part two was a surprise getting more details of Mr. B, it made me go oh ah. Gotta love a story that plays into its twists and turns.

Interesting plot about a teacher who grooms one of his 13 year old students for his own purposes. The student, Rose keeps a diary on the laptop which the teacher has given her. 9 years later and Rose is horrified to find that someone has published a book using her diary entries. She left the laptop at an airport and it was stolen. Rose is desperate to get her laptop back and destroy everything she wrote in the diary. Then she meets the author/thief of the book and things become rather complicated. An enjoyable read/listen.

This book was so unhinged and off-the-wall, I have never read a Natalie Barelli book before but I will definitely read more now. The story completely enthralled me. There were so many unexpected twists and turns! I didn't want to put the novel down! Highly recommend it to fans of psychological thrillers. I genuinely didn’t know who or what to believe because both Emily and Rose believed their own twisted narrative. just when I thought I'd seen it all, another shocking twist would occur, leaving me completely baffled and flying through the chapters faster and faster.

I read some of Natalie Barelli's earlier works so was very excited to read a more recent publication. Finders Keepers, while moderately entertaining, was unfortunately not the book for me. I think the story had great potential, but I was unable to connect with any of the characters. The general plot (a book is published about the protagonist's life bringing up dark secrets) felt familiar, and much of the book felt forced rather than unfold naturally. Overall, I was a bit disappointed but would recommend it to readers who need a quick thriller fix! It was a very fast read, and the audiobook narration was excellent.

This was a listen for me. Another author for the popcorn thriller category. This one is a little longer than the usual and gets a little complicated in the story, but still fast paced and twisty. I was hooked from the start. Between the plot and Rachel Leblang's narration, I did not want to stop listening. Every time I thought I had it all figured out, bang there was another twist.

The narration was great and helped me envision the characters. While Emily's voice got to be a bit much for me, the voice was spot on.

This is my first book by Natalie Barelli and I look forward to reading more by her. I enjoyed listening to the audiobook., narrated by Rachel Leblang. There were lots of twists, just when you think you know what really happened, another twist appears.
A gripping thriller.
Thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an audio-Arc for my honest review.

I really enjoyed the premise of this book and it was my first by this author. I will definitely be reading more of her books.

This definitely started out silly and I found it to be a unique plot. You had to suspend disbelief at times, but it was suspenseful and enjoyable.

This book started out strong for me. I was invested and intrigued how the story was going to play out. It didn't take long for it to get amateurish and silly. I also did not really like any of the characters and got to the point in which I didn't really care about the outcome.

This book started out great and then turned silly, fast. I am the first person to suspend disbelief if I am really enjoying a book, but this one was over the top. It was like the author said, I will just write what I want, whether or not it is in the least bit logical or probable.

I listened to this book on audiobook and did not care for the narrator, either. Her voice was so grating, and she had a lot of women to voice in this book. Instead of changing tenor or timbre, she would do a weird valley-girl thing for one. Another had a super high pitched annoying voice.

After the first 25% of the book, I was not really interested anymore, although I did finish.

Special thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for this Advance Reader Copy in exchange for an honest review.

This wasn’t my favorite of Natalie Barelli’s books. It started slow for me, but did pick up about halfway through. I enjoyed the audiobook and it was an easy listen. Even though it was not my favorite, it was still enjoyable and I would recommend it to my followers.

I first came across Barelli when I read her book The Housekeeper and loved it. I have since read several of her books and I can always count on her to deliver a solid thriller. Finders Keepers definitely did not disappoint! It’s a unique premise with a lot of twists and turns I didn’t see coming. I found Emily’s character to be realistically annoying and easy to dislike while Rose was perfectly snarky and sarcastic. Barelli just does characters so well! If you like authors like BA Paris, Megan Miranda, or Freida McFadden, you should really check this one out!

Thank you for the ARC! The first half was okay, the 2nd half was much better and had a ton of twists. I enjoyed it for the most part, especially the last half. The narrator for the audiobook is so awful though, very hard to listen to. Very thought-provoking theme which I enjoy and appreciate.

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC of this audio book. Unfortunately, I didn’t love this one. I blame myself for not reading the summary first. This is a story about a successful author who releases a book about a girl with a crush on her teacher. Only the story isn’t hers to tell, she stole it when she discovered and took a laptop from an airport. Now the real author wants her laptop back, and her story. And she will stop at nothing to take back what is hers. The characters and the plot of this one just didn’t work for me. Again, I should have read the description more closely. I didn’t love the characters or the storyline enough to stay engaged in the audio.

This was one of those books I couldn't put down because the story just kept pulling me in so quickly as everything unraveled! I have read every single book that Natalie Barelli has written and I can honestly say that, although they're ALL REALLY GOOD, this one is by far her best work yet! Just as I thought I had everything figured out, I was totally gobsmacked again and again! Absolutely on my list of books I'll recommend again and again!!!

A gripping thriller with some good twists and turns along the way. The more you learn the more you want to know and the whole time you're waiting for a murder. I loved the time I spent with this book.

This was a twisty, crazy story. It kept me entertained during my commutes to and from work. I really enjoyed the narrator and she did an amazing job with each character.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an a free ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Sometimes this felt like a train wreck and other times it was a wild ride. The humor & sarcasm kept me going because the story itself is so far-fetched.

This one just wasn’t for me.

Imagine that diary or journal that you kept at the age of 13, which outlined every absurd crush, was stolen and published as a novel. Now imagine that diary wasn’t about typical girlhood crushes but involved a teacher that manipulated and groomed their student and there was a murder involved. What lengths would you go through to get that diary back?

Rose has recently come across her lost diary as a newly published novel by someone she has never met. In order to get it back she will have to not only stalk Emily, but fully infiltrate her life and quite possibly murder her. Be prepared for Part One of Finders Keepers to completely gaslight you into believing this is a parody of the life of a psychopath. I found so many passages about how Rose handled situations laughable and borderline ridiculous, but my attention held.

Part Two completely redirects the reader’s focus to the true psychopath and it is absolutely worth the wait! New perspectives are revealed and there are a few extra twists thrown in for good measure. I enjoyed the audio production of this novel immensely and this may have helped get through the silliness of the first half.

I highly recommend this book to people who like psychological thrillers! This is such a unique plot, and I never really knew which character to trust. It kept me guessing until the very end! It always amazes me when authors can create so many plot twists so seamlessly into a story. I would have liked a few more details in the end, but can’t say too much without giving away the surprises.
