📚Review: Finders Keepers 📖
This book was SO GOOD!! I loved it. This is my second Natalie Barelli book I’ve read and so far she is 2 for 2 with the five stars for me. I just love her writing style. She kinda reminds me of my girl Freida and that is only a positive for me. The twists in this book were crazy. 🤯 There were more than one and I never saw any of them coming. After the first one I was like oh so this is who did it, this is how it’ll end, but Natalie had a few more ideas and kept changing things up time and time again.
For those not familiar with this one because it’s not out yet, I’ll give a short description because I really don’t want to spoil anything. This story is about a girl named Rose. Years ago, when Rose was a teenager, she wrote in her diary all about a crush she had on one of her teachers. But then Rose lost that diary. Someone else, a girl named Emily, found it and ended up telling everyone it was her writing and actually published it as her own book. Rose recognized the story as her own and decides to go to one of Emily’s book signings, to find out all she can about this woman who stole her journal. And what unfolds after that is just a great, wild ride of twists and turns. I loved it so much. I ended up listening to it for 5 straight hours because I couldn’t stop. I HAD to know how it was going to end. This was a definite ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 stars for me!!
I’d like to thank @netgalley and @dreamscape-media for this ALC in exchange for an honest review. I enjoyed every minute of it. 🙏🏻
Pub Date: September 19, 2023. Be sure to pick up your copy. You’re not going to want to miss this one.

This book is divided into two parts. Part one was kind of hard for me. Emily was hard to take. I had some suspicions about Rose that ended up being accurate.
Part two was better. It was crazy, but better. Perhaps due to having less Emily, lol. I had a hunch about the villain, and was right, but doubted myself a lot. The Spiderman pointing meme is all I could think about while reading the second half.
The reviews are great, but I just didn't love it like a lot of people did. It dragged at times for me.
Rachel Leblang narrates the audiobook. I wish it had a narrator for each POV. The narration was OK. Emily is dialogue was terrible, but she is kind of meant to be that way. A few words were mispronounced, which always grates on my nerves.
I received an audio copy in exchange for an honest review.

What a ride! Natalie Barelli is the master of psychological thrillers, and Finders, Keepers was no exception. Little Rosie's story is one that will stay with me for a long time. The audiobook version of this book was fantastic. The narrator took on each character perfectly and did a great job! I felt fully immersed in the story from start to finish.
Thank you, Natalie Barelli, Dreamscape, and NetGalley for the audiobook ARC in exchange for an honest review!

This was an excellent thriller with lots of twists and turns. I was pleasantly surprised with this book. At first, you think you have it all figured out. And think it's gonna play out like a similar thriller. But then it doesn't, it's totally different than anything I've read before. Definitely if you like thrillers read this book.

In the realm of thrilling audiobooks, this one stands out for its ability to captivate from the first moment. The author masterfully weaves an intricate and suspenseful plot, keeping listeners on the edge of their seats. The characters in the story are richly developed, with hidden motivations that add depth to the narrative. What sets this audiobook apart is the meticulous attention to detail, creating a vivid and immersive world filled with subtle nuances that enhance the overall suspense.
As the story unfolds, listeners are not only presented with the 'what' but also the 'why' behind the events, providing a satisfying sense of closure. This thriller is undoubtedly a gem in the genre, offering a thrilling journey through a maze of secrets. It's a must-listen for anyone who enjoys mysteries with well-crafted characters and a compelling narrative.

This one was an interesting listen as the plot was a little different. It has 2 running timelines and switches between both easily. Both were intriguing in their own way. Cleverly written storyline and I liked the authors style of writing and how she weaves the suspense factor throughout. I did like most of the characters but for different reasons. I found as the story unfolded it was a little obvious where it was going so I was hoping to be surprised and it go a different way. The narration was engaging and kept my interest. The ending wasn’t what I expected but it worked well. Would recommend.
3.5/5 🌟🌟🌟/🌟
Thanks to Netgalley and Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to listen to and review #FindersKeepers

Let me start off by saying the synopsis for this book made me immediately want to read it. I love a good mystery/thriller. So many thoughts running through my head while listening to this audiobook.
- Rose has something to hide and is a self proclaimed psychopath
- Emily seems to be a bit too trusting and/or clingy
- Rose can be (or seemingly be) very naieve at times
- This book sure does have some gaslighting at it's finest
This was a quick, fun read and kept me guessing as to "who done it". I am still left with a question at the end but I'm ok with that.
This was my first read by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. I've already marked a couple others "to read"
Thank you to NetGalley, Dremscape Media and Natalie Barelli for the audiobook ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Natalie Barelli books are always a winner for me. Dark, yet humorous and oh so addictive. I binge listened to this in a day, I really needed to know how this would end…and what an ending 😱 You will never guess where this will take you.
This book is best to go into fairly blind. All I will say that our main character Rose is an interesting character. She has believed that she is a psychopath since the age of 13, and now her deepest and darkest secrets are about to be revealed l
You will be shocked, you will laugh, you will hate certain characters. You do not want o miss this. The narrator, Rachel Leblang was fantastic at giving all the characters a unique voice.
Thanks so much to Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for the advanced audiobook. Released on September 19th.

Natalie Barelli never disappoints.
It definitely is a slow burn book but the twists keep you guessing and make you want to read it all in one sitting.
The audiobook narrator was so good. She kept you engaged and you knew the difference between the different POV in the book.

A Story Mostly about two young women. Rose who accidentally leaves her laptop with her diary on it and Emily who snatches the laptop and manages to have it published as her own. After meeting Emily at a book signing, Rose makes friends with her in order to get her diary back and protect herself from an incriminating secret.
I’ve read some slower moving books lately, so I needed an entertaining thriller. I enjoyed this author’s book Missing Molly so I was happy to get an early audiobook copy of Finders Keepers thanks to @netgalley @dreamscape_media
This was a very entertaining read with lots of twists and darkly funny moments. Just what I needed and I truly enjoyed it and finished it in an afternoon. I liked the first half, but the second half was even better and had me laughing out loud at the outrageous twists. Everyone here is delightfully despicable and loads. The narration by @rachelleblang was great.

Thank you, NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for this advance copy in exchange for my review.
I have mixed feelings about this book. While I really enjoyed the story and thought the plot was unique, some parts were a little too gaslight-y.
That being said, the twists are great and I would definitely recommend it.
If you're a fan of Freida McFadden, you'll love this.
🎵📖 note: The narrator (Rachel Leblang) was absolutely fantastic and her different voices made this feel like a full cast production.
3.5 ⭐

Wtf?
I loved this terrifying book.
When our protagonist was 13 she became convinced she was a literal psychopath. I don't want to reveal anything but she has a really inappropriate relationship with the worst teacher on the planet. As a result she is friendless, broke, and hides any emotions she might feel. Some absolute b8tch stole her middle school laptop and published her horrid diary/laptop with lots of changes. She decides she is going to get close to the thief and get her laptop back.
This woman is far more dangerous than she is.
It gets better and better. I loved the ending so much.
The narrator did the voices so well!

I've been reading Natalie Barelli's books for a long time and FINDERS KEEPERS is a must read! I was hooked from the start. I liked that it was told in two parts. In part one, you learn a lot about Rose and you think you know what's going to happen. But then you get to part two and the story goes an entirely different direction. Cleverly written, this story will take you on adventure to find out the truth. I felt this audiobook was well done and I would recommend getting a copy. You can easily listen to it in a day.
Many thanks to NetGalley and DreamScape Media for my gifted ALC.
