💫 Small Town
💫 Friends to Lovers
💫 Single Mama
💫 Family Drama

Such a sweet smalltown romance! Jade & Levi’s story will warm your whole heart. She’s an independent single mom, raising her son in Sweetbriar Ridge. Levi is an ad exec that loses his job in the city, and comes home to Sweetbriar to figure out his next steps.

The two connect through work initially, then they go from friends to flings, to so much more. This story was full of family drama on both sides. The side characters, especially Levi’s sisters, are so well developed, and so much fun to follow along the way.

If you’re wanting a sweet and romantic small town story to lighten up your TBR, this is it. Thank you to Valentine PR, Net Galley, and Samantha Chase, for the chance to read/listen to this early copy.

Such a cute small town story. I'm a total goner for small town romance and this story didn't disappoint.

I'm looking forward to get to know more about the Donovans and Sweetbriar Ridge.

The narrator did a good job. She mistook sometimes the male and female character, but I really like her voice.

Jade wants.to make a success of her new.store in her hometown where she sells books, coffee, and desserts. She is determined to make the store a success because she is the sole support of her eight year old son.

Levi Donavan gets fired and returns to his home town while trying to find a new job. He strikes up a friendship with Jade and is helping her with advertising at the request of his sister, her baker and friend.

Good book with very interesting plot(s). Jade has to fight against her son's grandmother who has been told that Jade is responsible for her ex's parents having no contact with their grandson. Great characters (except the ex).

Excellent narrator.

Loving You, the first book in a new series, Sweetbriar Ridge by Samantha Chase, was a great story about single-mom Jade and Levi, who is back in town for a short period, or so he thinks. This was a cute novel, clean and quirky, with just the right amount of romance and spice for the reader.

I had to the opportunity to listen to this as an audiobook and Carly Roberts, the narrator, kept the story at a good pace, while making the listener feel like she was connecting as the character. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher, Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to listen and review this advance copy of the audiobook.

Samantha Chase is a wonderful small-town author. She writes well with great storylines and easy to like characters. I loved this book as well as the audiobook. Small-town and single mom are favorite tropes of mine. I had a few moments of anxiety over actions of the characters, but as a whole my heart was warm throughout the story. I didn't want to put it down! So glad I could continue with the audiobook when I had to leave the house.

Carly Robins is an EXCELLENT narrator. She voiced both male and female voices well. The transition from reading to listening to the audiobook was smooth. It rolled like a movie in my head. Perfection.

Loving You is the first book in this new series. This was my first read by Samantha Chase and won’t be my last. It was a cute small town, friends to lovers romance.

Jade and Levi’s meet cute was an easy to read, entertaining story. Jade was a headstrong single mom, and Levi was a cinnamon roll hero. Neither one was looking for anything serious, but in the end found something worth fighting for. I really enjoyed the slow progression of feelings, and the chemistry between the two was so good.

This story was told in 3rd person POV. Carly Robbins did a really great job narrating for both characters.

I loved listening to Jade and Levi's story! It had so many elements that I adore...single parent, small town, friends-to-lovers, a sweet charmer MMC, and a tough & feisty FMC. Can I just say I would LOVE to live in Sweetbriar Ridge!? There is something about a small town romance that just draws me in and makes me swoon. Though Levi hit rock bottom in his career- being blacklisted for a mistake in the office and had to reluctantly return home, I am so thrilled that it happened because it kicked of a sweet and swoony romance between him and single mom & business owner, Jade. Jade's cafe/bookstore was struggling to get started so he jumps in to help where he can with actual work but also marketing ideas, and honestly a cozy cafe/bookstore combo did nothing but make me want to go there to finish listening to this sweet romance! I loved that Levi fought so hard to help Jade build up the hype for her business while being so great with her son, Silas. Jade went through so much growth over the course of this book and I was so proud of her journey!

A small town second chance romance. Levi is back in Sweetbriar Ridge after losing his job in a successful advertising firm. But he has not intentions to stay. Jade is a single mom struggling to make her book-coffee shop a success. Can they work together and find their happiness and a future together even with all that seems to break them apart? The audiobook with Carly Robins is a good one.

All thoughts are my own and I do not accept money for reviews. Thank you NetGalley for allowing me an early access reading of this book.

This was a cute clean romance. I listened to this as an audiobook, and it was fast paced, easy to follow, and the narrator did a great job. The plot itself is cute and Silas is adorable. I think that this was a great couple to set up the series with, and I cannot wait to follow the sisters as they go through their books! I looked through this authors books on Goodreads, and this may have cameos of former characters, so I might check out her other books to see who I can find. Like a little scavenger hunt.

Small town romance, small town romance, single mom, bookstore owner, slight miscommunication but like that, first in a series, clean romance

Thanks Dreamscapes and NetGalley for the audiobook version in exchange for an honest review.

This was a cute small town single parent love story. I liked Jade as a character- her bookstore was adorable and would absolutely be a place I’d want to go. Levi was cute as well from the beginning and they had good chemistry but there was enough of a story to keep me interested in the book.

There wasn’t anything unexpected in the book but that’s part of the appeal of a happily ever after romance.

Loving You is the 1st book of The Donavans: Sweetbriar Ridge Series, and as always Samantha doesn’t disappoint. Of course, she brings back the Donavan in this series. The cousins are in full swing, and first up is Levi. This small town, friends to lovers, opposites attract, single mom packs a punch with the slightly angsty family drama. The banter, the sassiness, and chemistry is on point. Jade is hard working independent single mom who is running a bookstore/ coffee shop. Things unfortunately haven’t been going her way in her new business. Levi, gives us all the vibes. He’s sweet, handsome, and charismatic. But, he finds himself in the last place he wants to be in. His hometown after a major life change. Jade and Levi help each other in so many ways. We also see them struggle due to their past relationships, and life experiences. Hard realizations, for the both of them have them turning to each other. Of course, I loved getting the family banter, updates on the Donavan cousins from Laurel Bay. And, sweet little Silas was just the cutest little guy. Can’t wait for the rest of the books in the series. The book is 3 POV. Carly Robins was the narrator and did a good job in keeping me engaged with the story, but also with her change in characterizations.

I'm always a fan of the Donovan stories, and this one was no exception. I did have a bit of a hard time placing which part of the family we were in at first, but eventually, that's made clear in the story itself.

As Levi Donovan's life starts to fall apart after his unexpected firing from a big city job, he returns home to sleepy Sweet Briar, a place he swore he'd never live in again, to lick his wounds and figure out his next steps. As a favor to his sister, whose guest room he's crashing in, he agrees to help with the marketing for a new business in town. Little did he anticipate that the woman running the store would turn his world upside down and make him question everything he ever thought he wanted!

For Jade, there's no room in her life for romance. She's way too busy being a single mom to Silas and launching her brand-new business. But when her friend's brother steps in to help with marketing her new store, the price is right (free!). It doesn't hurt that the guy is cute to look at too!

Before long, Jade and Levi are trying to figure out where to go from here when she's as committed to living in Sweet Briar forever as he is to leaving as soon as he finds employment again.

Thank you to Samantha Chase, Dreamscape Media and NetGalley for an advance review copy.

Book Rating: ⭐️⭐️
Narration Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a miss for me. It was very cliche. It felt like every troupe was used making it feel unoriginal. I thought the narrator read well but it wasn't my favorite. I would still recommend this to others but unfortunately it just wasn't for me.

Thank you NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for the opportunity to listen and review this audiobook.

I've only had the pleasure of reading or listening to a couple of Samantha Chase's books, but I'm thinking I need to remedy that. There will certainly be a fair number of her books hitting my TBR. I love small-town romance and family series, and as I understand it, Loving You is the beginning of a spin-off series. So, now that I've met these great characters, I'm gonna need to meet the earlier couples that led to this point.
I'll admit that Jade and Levi are an exercise in frustration at times, but weirdly enough, that's part of their charm. If anyone deserves a positive romantic experience, it's this pair. Jade has plenty of romantic angst under her belt, and Levi needs some good vibes in his life. Of course, we get a bit of angst, but I think Samantha Chase did a great job with timing. It all felt natural, as in their responses and actions made sense for the situation - even if they didn't do what I wanted them to! The steamy stuff is closed-door in this one, and I really liked how Chase kept the romance sexy without having to go into detail.
Carly Robins does a great job with the narration. This is the first time I've listened to her, and I liked her performance. She brought out the many emotions of the story very well.
To sum it up, Loving You is an engaging romance that held my interest from start to finish. If you enjoy small-town, single-parent, going-home-again romance, I'd definitely recommend his one, and I'll be watching for the next book in the series.

From the first meeting, when she literally fell into his arms, until the last page, I loved this couple. Levi has always wanted bigger things and doesn’t want to become his dad, so he never wants kids or a wife. When he loses his job, he moves home and is forced to face some hard truths about himself and his family. When he meets Jade he is intrigued but doesn’t want to interfere with her life because he doesn’t plan on staying in town.

Jade is a single mom who has worked hard to open her own business. She is instantly attracted to Levi but knows that he isn’t staying so she keeps their relationship business only (he is helping her with PR for her store). When she sees how her son gets along with him she starts to soften and decides to go after what she want.

I really liked how realistic they both were and how they always put her son first. The culmination of her son’s grandparents was nice and I also believed that the situation could have happened. I was really rooting for them and was heartbroken at one point in the book. Her dream becoming even more than she expected was nice also.

The narrator did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life. Carly did a fantastic job with conveying the emotions of all the characters in the book so you felt like you were right there. I received an ARC and this is my honest, voluntary review.

This is the first book in The Donovans (Sweetbriar Ridge), a Small Town Romance. Jade and Levi's story is funny, sweet, and heartwarming. Jade is a single mom, and owner of the coffee shop Books & Beans. She is beautiful, smart, and independent. Levi is an interesting character, handsome, and supportive. They are opposites attract, and they are perfect together. Jade's son Silas is such a cute boy. The cast of supporting characters is impressive. I liked Levi's sister Billie. Carly Robins did an excellent job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to the next book in the series.

𝚂𝚊𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚝𝚑𝚊 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚜𝚎 is back with a brand new release (out today!) and I'm so glad I listened to it! I absolutely love a 𝚂𝙲 novel. She never fails to pull me in, hook-line-sinker, each and every time.

Levi & Jade both absolutely stole my heart with this book. The fact that Jade owns a book/coffee shop combo just hits me in the right places! That is one is my dreams and 𝚂𝙲 let me live it through Jade!

The sparks/chemistry that fly between Levi & Jade is off the charts! They are friends with benefits but that doesn't last long with a cinnamon roll hero like Levi when he realizes his feelings! I loved seeing their feelings blossom!

The drama, the chemistry, the banter, the characters. All of that & more, can be found in a beautiful written 𝚂𝚊𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚝𝚑𝚊 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚜𝚎 novel, and she definitely didn't disappoint her fans wit this one!

And, let's not forget the narrator, 𝐶𝑎𝑟𝑙𝑦 𝑅𝑜𝑏𝑖𝑛𝑠. She is one of my favorite female narrators and she did a fantabulous job at bringing Levi, Jade, Silas and all the characters within the story to life. I definitely love her as the narrator!

If you love a masterfully written small town romance filled with drama, love and fun, don't miss out on this one! Grab it up today!

Listened to this audiobook and I have to say that Carly Robbins is amazing at what she does!! I’m sure it’s not an easy job to narrate multiple characters and portray all the different emotions and personalities.
This was my first read by Samantha Chase and I loved it! Small town romance with a strong and fierce FMC who as a single mom, lives for her child. Just as any mom.
Levi Donovan happens to be in town after losing his job and in a series of events, ends up helping Jade with the marketing of her business and the rest is history!
This was a fun, fast paced and wholesome read!

Samantha Chase writes romance that makes you feel good. The families she writes feel real and are full of all kinds of personalities. I liked Jade a lot. She's strong and determined. She's also trying to achieve her dream. Levi's world has been turned upside down and I think it made him a better man. I enjoyed their romance. I also liked the rest of Levi's family and look forward to reading their stories in the future. I received an advance copy from NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.
