I was given the opportunity to read this book via NetGalley. I enjoyed this book. It was a little disorienting at first but it didn't take long to figure out what was going on. I would recommend this book if you like alternative fiction. The characters were well developed and the story line kept my attention. I enjoyed it so much I read The Priests Wife which is the second book in the series. The Scotland like setting really added to the story.
