this was a strong start to the Shadow of Darkness series, it had everything that I wanted from this type of book. It had a great fantasy elements with interesting characters that worked in this universe. I was engaged with the plot overall and enjoyed everything going on. Leisl Kaberry wrote a great story and left me wanting to read more in this series.

Leisl Kaberr has written an excellent romance with lots of suspense. If you want to read a book that will have you saying "just one more chapter", you need to read Titanian Awakenings. I could not put the book down. I can not remember when I have ever read a book I loved so much.
