I've never read anything by this author before, but I really enjoyed it! A nice, lovely, yet somewhat predictable.

The strong connection between these two main characters is why I enjoy them. Logan is shown wonderfully and shows genuine care for Viv. It was natural that the relationship would rekindle, though it took some time. I especially enjoyed the warm small-town vibe. It was wonderful to witness Viv pursue her dreams.

Thank you Entangled Publishing, Net Galley and Miranda Liasson for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Viv and Logan where best friends until a would be kiss, sent them going in separate ways. Years later they both come back to Blossom Glen. Are they going to be able to brebuild their friendship or is is still back where it was twelve years ago?

This was a good book. THere was a lot of tension, romance, anger, and laughter. I read it quickly.

The Sweetheart Crush is the third book in Miranda Liasson’s Blossom Glen series; that said I feel each of these books can be read as a stand-alone although each story is wonderful so I recommend reading them all. I’ve enjoyed this series, but felt The Sweetheart Crush was the best in the series. I felt it had more depth, the characters really dug deep to make some changes in their lives and open themselves up to the possibility of love, and both characters had to examine the past and make peace with it. Best friends since childhood, one awkward almost teenage kiss led to years of hurt feelings, but now back in their hometown Viv Montgomery and Logan Matthew are caught in a viral video having a terse discussion which leads to an interesting arrangement. The more time these two spend together, the more they both begin to realize that despite more than a decade apart, their friendship was important and their feelings for each other are deeper than they ever deemed possible.

I love the way Ms. Liasson layered this story, I’m never a huge fan of books where a couple had something in the past and they spend the entire book re-hashing the moment it went wrong. We don’t see that in this book, yes it is discussed but most of their time together is spent learning about each other as the adults they’ve become; their fears, their accomplishments, their failures, and their dreams for the future.

I felt this book was more emotional than the other books in this series, but I think that comes from the strong feelings they both had towards one another. Feelings that were there back on that fateful night years ago that came roaring back once they were in each other’s lives again. What I really loved was how they both had such doubts about their abilities in their chosen profession and yet they were each other’s biggest cheerleaders.

The Sweetheart Crush was a slow burn, second chance romance, filled with emotion, memories good and bad, friends and family, and most of all two people finally figuring out that a relationship built on friendship is the sweetest of all.

I loved this book!!! Such a fantastic second chance story!!! I loved Viv , and Logan is made of dreams. This story definitely reminds us how stupid teenagers can be, but how everyone matures with time.

The Sweetheart Crush is the 3rd book in the Blossom Glen series by Miranda Liasson, but each book in the series is a standalone romance. Photographer, Viv Montgomery, was given money from her mother and sister to leave Blossom Glen and follow her dreams. Twelve years later, she hasn't made it big and returned home to regroup and figure out what she wanted to do with her life. She is working in the town's Christmas store when she runs into Logan, the man she left behind, the one she cared about, but was too afraid to tell him. Logan is a best-selling author of thriller books, but is terrible interacting with the public. He hires Viv to work on his image, and social media and truths come out. Will these two be able to rekindle those old feelings and have a relationship?

This is a sweet romance with some great characters. I really liked Viv and Logan and wanted them to get together. With a misunderstanding from their past standing in their way, it will just take communication to sort it out. Both Logan's and Viv's families play a large part of the story and I really liked that. Families in small towns make the stories more relatable. Although this is an easy read, there is an issue with bullying and peer pressure that was very realistic, and I loved the way it was dealt with. If you enjoy a fun, clean romance, then you will enjoy The Sweetheart Crush as well as the rest in the series.

I like a good friends to lovers story. Viv and Logan meeting up after such a long time gives good storyline opportunities.

I received this story as an advance reader copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book is the third installment in Miranda Liasson's Blossom Glen series, but it can be enjoyed as a standalone. Best friends Viv Montgomery and Logan Matthew, who share a complicated history stemming from a childhood kiss, find themselves back in their hometown and caught in a viral video. As they spend more time together, they realize their friendship is essential, and their feelings run deeper than they ever imagined. Unlike typical romance novels, this book focuses on the characters' growth as adults and their journey to reconcile their past while navigating their present. It's an emotional and heartfelt story of second chances, friendship, and the realization that a relationship rooted in friendship is the most precious of all.

Viv is home from Europe - where she journeyed off to make a name for herself in the art world and get out her home town…leaving the “boy next door” behind. In a “fish out of water” analogy - her family owns and runs a bakery and Viv has a gluten sensitivity. Her time in Europe didn’t prepare her for much, so she is working in a local Christmas store when the boy next door returns home as a very successful author. He is home to reconnect with his family, most notably his younger sister - but his sister seems to be connecting more with Viv and they are constantly being the close proximity is messing with both of them. Can they get move past their past and rekindle their friendship (or more)?

I liked this book because the heavy moments are broken up by funny/laughable moments. I really liked the characters - they are all very relatable!

This is the book I needed to read without knowing it.
Thank you Entangled Insiders and Brittany Zimmerman for giving me the opportunity to read this e-arc.
This is the story of Viv and Logan, who were best friends until one fatal night where Logan tried to kiss Viv. Then they went their separate ways after high school. Fast forward 12 years later, life brought them back to Blossom Glen.
This is such a wonderful and feel good book.
The story was full of goodness, people just trying to find their own way through life, romance, family values, I enjoyed every moment, and read it a lot faster than expected.
Sometimes, a book just makes you forget about the day to day trouble, this is exactly what I needed. I will definitely be stalking Miranda Liasson for more.

Oh. My. Goodness.
This book was SO SWEET!
I was literally sitting there reading each epage with a sappy grin, going awww as the story progressed! There was simply nothing to it, but to do it. and yep, I was all on board.

We've got childhood friends that went separate ways in a hurry thanks to an ill-timed kiss...well, not so much ill-timed as perhaps the headspace of one wasn't in the right frame of mind, but I digress. We've got a second chance at a first time romance that might happen, or might not happen, thanks to secrets littering the landscape of their past and present. We've got sweet interactions, and moments that AGAIN make you say AWWW! We've also got family connections, bullying assists (for teenagers AND adults!), and such a BIG dose of hometown spirit, you can't help but feel like one of this gorgeous community. I laughed, I sighed (A LOT), I cringed, and hoped (so so SO much!), and by book's end, that happily ever after was in reach, if only they'd both step over their self drawn lines in the sand to grab on tight. I loved Logan and Viv so very much, individually and for the potential they held as a couple. I could feel the bonds of friendship they built from the ground up, could see the "something more" that developed once upon a time gain a new spark of life, and couldn't wait to see it come to fruition. All the small moments along the way added up to a sweet romance readers won't be able to stay away from...at least, that's THIS reader's point of view. 💕

The sweetheart crush
Miranda Liasson.

Small town romance.

A hot elf
And a book author.

I love the small town romance that this author brings to us, A little christmas, and her story makes you want to crawl into the book and just be part of the story. You instantly fall in love with the characters. These characters have so much going for them. We have a book author. A hot Elf. And so much history from the past.

Sometimes you do things, Before you think and they have a way of Surfacing. And someone's feelings get hurt. Before you have a chance to make good on them. Because the past always comes back. Small towns everyone knows everyone's business.

I must say everything about this book was absolutely perfect. My favorite parts were the hot tub scenes. No one knows you're there and then all of a sudden you have company. Absolutely a sweet story.

I also love a book that has pets in it.
This sweet book has a dog. And cat. Absolutely perfect.🐾🐾

I would recommend Miranda Liasson Books to anyone because they're sweet.
Small town romance books are some of my
Favorites.

He'd fallen in love with his best friend since childhood. She ran away because of fear of being stuck in the small town without realizing her dreams. Twelve years later, Viv and Logan are back home fighting more than just the attraction for each other. Come back to Blossom Glen and enjoy elephant ears, cute animals, hot tub conversations, and good friends!
Trigger: bullying

This a new to me author and I enjoyed the book. I like that each book in the series is a stand alone, so I didn't feel like I was behind or missing a lot of the story. However, I will go back and read the previous 2 books. I enjoyed Viv and Logan's 2nd chance love story. It was a fun read and made me smile.

The sweetest romance between two childhood best friends. Viv and Logan's friendship ended twelve years ago, after he tried to kiss her and she ran off to Paris. Now she's back home temporarily in Blossom Glen, feeling like a failure after her photography dreams didn't pan out. Logan is now a bestselling thriller author, and he happens to be back home as well. They meet up, and the sparks fly immediately. However, Logan is looking to settle down in his hometown, and Viv's fear of further failure has her ready to book it, to prove she can succeed in a more stable profession. Can Logan find love with the person who once broke his heart? And can Viv give her dreams a second chance? Pick up The Sweetheart Crush and find out.

This was the perfect kind of romance read for me. I love the second chance for childhood best friends to become more trope. Both main characters are likable and human. The familial relationships were lovely, and I enjoyed the small town setting (and the fun Christmas store, even if it wasn't Viv's favorite place). I've not read the other entries in the series, but I enjoyed the setting, so I'll be hunting them down now. A sweet and lighthearted read, with plenty of emotion. Would recommend.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

The Sweetheart Crush by Miranda Liasson is a sweet romance. It is the story of Viv Montgomery and Logan Matthews, childhood best friends who had a falling out before college, but are now thrown back together in their small town a dozen years later. The book is a clean romance with good background given for each character. I did realize as I was writing this review that this is the third in a series, of which I have only read this one, but had no trouble following the story.

This book is a cute romcom about the boy/girl next door. I enjoyed reading about how the MC's feelings developed in their past and discovering how they evolved throughout the book. The Christmas all the time shop was a funny aspect too. I really enjoyed the ending.

This book passed the time. It wasn't a favorite but I made it through slowly. Friends and enemies become friends.

The Sweetheart Crush by Miranda Liasson is the perfect Hallmark vibe of second chance meets friends to lovers. Viv and Logan were the absolute best friends throughout childhood and one incident caused radio silence for twelve years.

The chemistry right off the bat was on fire and the small town setting with a lovable cast just makes this the perfect story to cozy up with. This was an easy stand-alone read within the series but I can see how reading the previous books would have added another layer of depth and love for the supporting characters in this tight-knit small town. This was paced just fast enough that you get sucked in and get through quickly without it feeling like things weren't fleshed out enough.
