This was, unfortunately, a DNF for me. I had a really difficult time getting into the story. For some reason, it just didn't grab my attention, and I had a hard time following what was happening.

This was a strong sequel in the Ever-Branching Tree series, it had what I enjoyed from the first book. The characters felt like they belonged in this world and I was enjoying getting back to the world. David Scidmore has a strong style for this type of book and I enjoyed everything about this novel.

An intriguing book of puzzles, prophecies, and alternate universes. Perfect for fans of action packed epic fantasies.
