I enjoyed the premise of the book, and overall the story was good, but I did feel that it we on a little longer than necessary. I think the book could have been just as good if it had ended at 350 pages instead of 400. Sadly, I found myself wanting it to finish, and looking at how many chapters were left.

I devoured Every Move You Make in two sittings, yes, it’s that good. C.L. Taylor has outdone herself with this razor-sharp psychological thriller that had me completely hooked from the first page. Twisty, tense, and totally addictive, it’s easily one of my favourite books she’s ever written.

The pacing is flawless, the characters are complex and utterly believable, and the suspense never lets up. Just when I thought I had it figured out, another jaw-dropping twist sent me reeling. Taylor masterfully plays with the reader’s mind, keeping you second-guessing every motive and memory.

If you love thrillers that keep you on edge and demand to be read in one breathless go, this is the book for you. Absolutely brilliant…I can’t recommend it highly enough!

This is everything you need for a full on thriller. Great plot, strong characters and some twists and turns along the way. Very well written as is expected from C L Taylor. Highly recommended as all her books are.

Thank you Netgalley

I have previously enjoyed a lot of Taylor's other books, and given the very personal nature of this topic for her, I had high hopes. However, I hadn't enjoyed the last one before this, so I was also cautious!

I do think that kind of accurately describes my feelings on this. It's well written, and I felt it really nailed the feeling of being stalked with sensitivity, and respect, but also terror (if that makes sense!). However I struggled in places where it felt like there were too many coincidences, and my believability fell.

I may possibly need to accept that this genre isn't working as well for me as it used to! But I do recommend this if it's one you enjoy. 3 stars.

This was a great book. I loved every paragraph, every sentence and every word of this masterpiece! I read it in 12 hours, which is a lot for me to do! It had everything and more laid out in the novel! I sure hope There is more to come from this author! I am totally hooked!

I am late reviewing this due to eye problems in 2024.

Very taunt thriller, enjoyable read. The author’s own experience with stalking adds an authentic and somewhat eerie and uncomfortable air to the story.

Thanks must go to the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC of this story.

Taylor’s writing is taut and suspenseful, keeping readers on edge as the story unfolds. The characters are well-developed, each with their own unique backstory that adds depth to the narrative. As a reader, I found myself constantly questioning who to trust, mirroring the protagonists’ own paranoia.
What sets this book apart is Taylor’s personal experience with stalking, which lends an air of authenticity to the story. The exploration of themes like control, coercion, and relationships adds layers to the plot, making it more than just a typical thriller.
While intense at times, “Every Move You Make” is an important and affecting read that sheds light on a very real societal issue.

Incredibly creepy and addictive.

You really feel the fear of these characters as their stalkers are seemingly moving up a gear.

They are all part of a stalking victim support group and when one of them dies, and at the funeral they receive a wreath implying one will die in 10 days time, they decide they need to try to take matters into their own hands.

It is tense, it gets inside your head, and its a brilliant story, I felt sure that the book was leading to a twist, but I didn't guess what it was.

Another wonderful book from this author who I always love reading.

Thank you to Avon and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

5 friends who are uniquely connected due to the fact they are being stalked. But when one friend is murdered the others start fearing for their lives.

A clever, twisty novel which has you on the edge of your seat guessing what is happening.

We begging the story meeting Natalie who is being stalked by her ex. Her supportive online friends are there for her, joined together by their own stalker stories. A support group if you will.
Natalie sadly meets her untimely end early in the book and the other four unite in grief and fear when a message appears that one of them will die in 10 days time.
The book takes us through the next ten days covering all the characters and their stalker stories.
I found the book a little difficult to follow at times and sadly I spotted half the twist before it happened.

I devoured this book. Full of twists and turns. A very serious subject matter handled skilfully. The author tells us at the very end (this is not a spoiler) that she has been stalked herself, so she writes with experience of her subject matter.

This book was enjoyable overall. I liked the concept of the victims of stalkers uniting to get justice. The story was full of twists and turns throughout, some of them were predictable however the ending was a complete surprise. I would definetely recomend if you enjoy a suspense thriller.

A group of people who have one thing in common.. Stalking. Have a WhatsApp group where they can support each other. When one of them is murdered after their stalker was released from prison and a death threat sent to one of them, but they don't know who it is for, they try to figure out who is next and to put a stop to what they are going through.
There are lots of twists and turns throughout, a good read.

I had this book as an audiobook. This was an easy listen, I liked the narrator, its a modern day story about people being stalked and the fear they feel. The characters come together to support each other through difficulties of not knowing if someone who is obsessed with you is going to kill you! I found it a teeny bit drawn out but the beginning and the end made up for it.

Every Move You Make is an intense and chilling thriller which delves deeply into the terrifying world of stalking. The book follows a WhatsApp group of five victims of stalking as they try to remain safe, support each other and live a normal life. All is well until one member dies and a wreath with a harrowing message turns up at her funeral. What follows is a 10 day countdown, full of fear, anguish and mistrust.

There is a lot going on in this book with 4 main characters, each with their own sub plot, so as you can imagine there is an abundance of twists, turns and red herrings which will keep you on your toes. The pacing is quick and propulsive and it is such an easy one to be consumed by and binge on. The characters are well developed and it’s far too easy to see yourself in their place and feel the fear.

While I enjoyed the chaotic nature I personally would have loved if Taylor concentrated maybe on fewer characters and delved deeper into the psychological aspect of both the stalker and the victim. In her author’s note she details her own unfortunate experience with stalking and I felt the book would have definitely rated higher for me if she tapped into that a little more and delved more into the more realistic effects and damages rather than the frenzy of characters.

Overall a really gripping and nerve wracking thriller which I enjoyed, but wanted just a little more from.

I really liked the sound of the book and the concept was clever. But this just seemed to drag for me, and I couldn't understand why people who had been stalked would continue to be so invested in their trauma. I didn't like River's character, and found him irritating.

It wasn't for me sadly.

This book is a masterclass in suspense, weaving together complex characters, tense situations, and a storyline that twists and turns like an unbound rollercoaster.
