I fancy stories set in beautiful Alaska, and Falling for Alaska is no exception.

True Everett dreams of owning Moose Falls’ small restaurant, Northern Exposure. She is ambitious, feisty and her heart is in it, but there is one potential road block, the impossibly handsome Xavier Stone.

Having recently arrived in Moose Falls, Xavier and his two brothers were requested by their grandmother to help her run the family businesses. Xavier does not want to confront his childhood memories, nor his estranged father and is eager to return to Arizona. However, Xavier must entertain his grandmother’s request plus, he has his eye on the restaurant’s stunning manager.

What to make of these new feelings and the fate of the restaurant?

Follow along as these two get to know one another and reveal their true selves. I enjoyed the banter between Xavier and True, the small town feel and Alaska’s rugged setting. I look forward to the sequel.

Thanks to Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for providing me with an e-ARC of this via Netgalley.

I love this phrase Caleb ans women went together like a Super Bowl party and Nachos.. I had to grin at that one.
I loved the setting of Alaska in this sweet book.
I also learned a lot about Cider and the many different flavors that can come from it.
The opening scene made me laugh out loud even though it wasn't really funny but Xavier's haughty attitude deserved it hehehe.
The cover of this book is what made me want to read and discover what Alaska was about and like. I loved every minute of this book.
I couldn't put the story down and it seems as though it is told by multiple people or each character.
It still flowed smoothly in my opinion a d was a delightful and fun read.
5 stars for a fun adventure and laugh out loud story that I highly recommend.
My thanks to Netgalley and Harliquen Trade for a copy of this book.

Wholesome story with winter vibes. I enjoyed being in the world of Moose Falls.
Not truly enemies to lovers, but still a nice love story nevertheless.
Wish the backstory was dove into more— I thought the prologue was a great place to start, and I felt that the conflicts resolved more on their own than with character dialogue and storytelling progressing it.
Pacing was super quick at the end. There was a conflict that resolved in the matter of a few pages, while the rest of the book just seemed like a day to day feel.

This was a sweet slow romance that had a happy ending.

True Everett is raising her brother after her parents die. She runs the local tavern, Northern Exposure in Moose Falls, Alaska. She meets Xavier Stone, a former NFL football player back in town with his three brothers to take over his grandmother’s hard cider business. When the two meet, there are sparks that slowly turn to romance. Can these two get past their romantic hurts to fall in love?

I loved the descriptions of Moose Falls and the people in this cute town. The main characters were likable and I was rooting for love to prevail. The story of overcoming loss and past hurts resonated for all of us.

Thank you to NetGalley, Forever (Grand Central Publishing) and the author for the e-ARC. The book will be released on March 26, 2024.

I loved this book! I was hooked from the very beginning, and I had to find out how it would end!

The characters are wonderful! They're relatable and easy to like! Xavier had my heart from the very first sentence! He's a protector, sensitive and caring! True is a superstar! She's a nurturer, loving and a hard worker! Hattie is a hoot! Full of character even though she's going through a tough time.

The setting of Alaska is breathtaking! The imagery brings the mountains to life!

This is the first book I've read by Belle Calhoun, but it won't be the last!

I was provided a copy of the book from the publisher Forever Hachette Book Group via Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I loved my first trip to Moose Falls and can't wait to go back! Author Belle Calhoune did a wonderful job of describing the characters and settings that it was easy to relate to the characters and imagine being there. I loved True and Xavier's story and can't wait to read Caleb and Landon's stories in the future. The other secondary characters like Jayden, Hattie, Bonnie, Jacques, and Red were also great. I received an ARC of this book through NetGalley but was not required to leave a positive review. All opinions are my own.

Former pro-football player Xavier Stone is once again asked to make a tough call–to return to his childhood hometown in Alaska to help run his grandmother's companies. He and his brothers have not been back since their parents' divorce twenty years ago, and haven't been in contact with any family there for almost as long.

Between working with his estranged father and confronting difficult childhood memories, can Xavier find peace in Alaska? Perhaps even love?

Falling for Alaska is a sweet, small town romance centralized around family. If you are a fan of Hallmark movies, this one is for you!

My notes:
• I don't think it should be called enemies to lovers.
• True isn't the restaurant owner, she manages the pub/tavern/restaurant (it's referred to all of those in the synopsis, which could be confusing.)

Thank you, Forever, for the ARC!
