This was such a fun romance! I really loved the characters in this one and how they interacted with each other! There were so many cute and funny moments through this book and the chemistry between the characters was amazing! Definitely recommend checking this one out!

I have loved everything I've read by Tarah DeWitt, this one was no different. Tarah always writes emotional circumstances that bring her characters together, but when they finally collide it's electric every single time. Savor It is filled with the perfect amount of spice and banter despite the slow-burning romance. I always love a small town setting and this one delivered.
Loved this one! Always looking forward to more works by Tarah DeWitt!

This was a slightly spiced, slow burn, and cute sunshine grump romance. I really liked the small town backdrop and I think that vibe really was integral into the narrative. If you like stories that Have a Virgin River or Sullivan's Crossing, but with a foodie focus, then you will enjoy this book.
Please note: although I really enjoyed the storyline and romance, there were some pacing issues that I had with this story so you need to go into this wanting a read that paces itself more like real life than work of fiction.
One Sentence Review: Despite its slow burn pacing, this book will draw you in to its right spiced small town Pacific Northwest story and hold your interest while the spark of a Gump -Sunshine romance pulls on your heart as two people reach for and discover love.

What a fantastic novel! This was my first by Tarah DeWitt and I can't wait to read more from her! There was so much to love about Savor It; from the characters to the setting, it's all fantastic. This is one to check out if you love romance, and you'll certainly want to Savor it!
Thank you St. Martins Press and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for my honest review.

This was cute! I really enjoyed seeing Fisher and Sage’s relationship grow throughout the story and I loved that they were able to communicate with each other well. The small town setting was also cute and I liked the addition of fake dating. However, as a whole, I feel like not a lot happened in this book and I was left wanting more from parts of the story. It just felt a little slow overall. Regardless, I am still excited to read more from this author and in this series.

I love the way that Tarah Dewitt is able to build tension in her books because it makes it that much sweeter when the characters finally get together. The author did a great job of building anticipation and the characters had great chemistry. I also loved the small town vibes in this story.

First off, thank you NetGalley and the publisher for the arc, out now!
Now. Goodness. What a gorgeous book this was. I am truly in awe of Tarah’s writing. This was my first book by her and I genuinely can not wait to read her other books, especially Left Of Forever, will forever be gagged by these two covers because the way they so tightly hold each other, WHEWWWWWWW 😮💨
I love love love Sage and Fisher’s relationship. I truly enjoyed seeing their personal life mesh once they started getting to know one another. The writing itself was beautiful, but their story too, the love and care they provided for each other. Seeing Fisher blame himself and have to learn to accept what happened and work toward a better outcome. All of it, stunning. I hope Fisher and Indy heal from the pain they endured 🫂
And Sage was so real. So so real. I loved the journal she kept track of and the way she was there for everyone. Her relationship with her brothers and the people around her was so precious.
If you’re looking for a hot chef who wears earrings and is the guardian of his niece and a history teacher who is precious and gardens with a hot summer “fling” turned to the sweetest softest love, then this is for you. Oh! He also takes care of her so beautifully I was sobbing, thank you!
Tarah, you are such an incredible writer, I can not wait to read more of your work💜

This was an ARC from Netgalley and my first Tara DeWitt book. Safe to say it will not be my last!
I loved the Pacific Northwest and small town feel with a little bit of city vibes sprinkled in.
I adored Sage and her menagerie of animals (Gary the goose was my favorite) and Fisher and how he navigated his relationship with his niece, Indy who came to live with him after her mom died. The added small town competition was *chef’s kiss*.
I thought the brief fake dating into their whirlwind romance was fun and I adored their sweet, punny banter.

Okay I love a good slow burn but I have to know its a slow burn cause I'm impatient otherwise. Thank goodness I knew that this was one because once the match was lit this was game over!
I loved how both of them came together as friends first. They were trying to help one another out and on top of being friends they were fake dating, another trope love of mine. I enjoyed the dynamic between Fisher and Sage, but I also loved seeing how Indy was doing in all of this too. I was invested in this town, the people, and I went deep diving and saw that her brother is one of the next stories.... i. cannot. wait!

I read this and just couldn't get into it and tried as hard as I could ... it ended up being a DNF for me.

Sage and Fisher forever! This is such a delightful romance from Tara DeWitt, and who doesn't love a small town romance with tons of farm animals?
Many thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for sharing this book with me.

Sage and Fisher I will remember you always in the summer!! This was the perfect summer small town romance and my first book by Tarah. I am THIRSTING for more. This was so so lovely. The pace of the romance, the hilarity of a small town, the grief, the animals. I enjoyed it so so much and I will recommend it forever!!

I love Tarah's writing - the characters and the setting are always strong, and she writes emotions and internal monologues in a way that truly feels more real, authentic, and relatable than most other authors. All of which is true of this book as well. I adore Sage and Fisher, and seeing them open up to each other, grow, and take leaps of faith for themselves and each other. I will say, in a lot of ways, not a lot happens in the story in terms of plot, but I don't think that's a bad thing, It gave room for a deep dive into these characters. The ending felt a bit rushed which is really my reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5, but I did really enjoy this one and CANNOT WAIT for Left of Forever!!

This was such a cute book, it's the perfect small town romance, if you want a quirky town with a found family full of animals then this one if for you. I do wish that there was more of an over arching plot but this is a great vacation read if you looking for something feel good.

This was the first book that I have read by this author and I was very excited to start it because it takes place in my home state of Oregon. Spunes, OR is a fictional small coastal town. I liked the relationship between Sage and Fisher, both of them had their own history that they were dealing with, but were able to still be open to moving forward. I like that Fisher tried to do right by his niece, Indy and she was able to get a taste of the big city, like she wanted. I did feel like the story line with Silas getting injured kind of came out of nowhere, but that is my only complaint. I really want to read Ellis and Wren's story next and I can't wait for that to come out.

I absolutely loved this book, I went into it knowing nothing but knew I loved the author and she didn't disappoint!

I have loved all of Tarah’s other books, but Savor It didn’t work quite as well for me. It felt as if there were some pacing issues in the story and I never felt much of a spark between Sage and Fisher.
Unfortunately this one didn’t work for me but I know I’m in the minority and tons of people loved it!
Thank you to Netgalley & St Martins Press for the eARC of this book!

This book was such a sweet, swoony, sexy summer romance. I fell in love with Sage, Fisher, and the entire supporting cast (including the copious amounts of farm animals). Tarah DeWitt is a beautiful writer who weaves life's complexities into her storytelling in a seamless way. She explores grief and both the fear and exhilaration of falling in love, and offers just the right amount of Sage Advice. This was a top read for me in 2024.

Holy moly I loved this. The audio was 🔥. This book explored grief in such a relatable way. And finding yourself, going through hardships and finding someone who loves you for you.
First off I loved Sage and Fisher separately as much as I loved them together. I loved how solid their friendship was and how their relationship was so deep!
The setting of the book was great. I love the PNW so reading a book set there was so enjoyable.
The messages in this book were just great. I really loved it.

Savor It by Tarah DeWitt is a delightful, feel-good read that perfectly blends humor, heart, and just the right amount of romance. DeWitt’s writing is sharp and witty, and her characters are so relatable they feel like old friends. This book isn’t just about love—it’s about embracing life’s messiness and finding joy in the little things. If you’re looking for a story that will make you smile, laugh, and maybe shed a happy tear or two, Savor It is the perfect escape.
