Really enjoyable and I just adore the Fey world. Pacing is fast enough for me and I find the characters to very likeable.

A fun little fae novel.

I really liked Imogen as an FMC. She isn’t easily intimidated no matter what otherworldly things are thrown her way. She is the epitome of “take no crap” and that was so refreshing to read.

The dynamic between Imogen and Tarian gave me major beauty and the beast vibes which I really enjoyed.

If you’re a fan of AOCTAR, The Cruel Prince or Fairy Tales in general you’ll definitely have a good time with this book.
I’m excited to see where the story goes!

4/5 ⭐
This was super good! I love romantasy because it gives a little something to the romance plot. This is your typicall enemies to lovers between human and fae. I really enjoyed the storyline and can't wait to read the next in the series!

Imogen and Tarian give the ultimate banter and enemies to lovers vibes, this book is perfect for fans of ACOTAR. Immersive world building and magic system, only down fall to the book is it ends on a cliff hanger.

Dual POV, Enemies To Lovers, Grumpy x Sunshine, Fated Mates

I could not stand the writing of this book. It is poorly written, with horrific grammar and punctuation use. It had great potential, but it was so badly executed

I loved the dual-pov!! Captive romances are always hit or miss but Prince of Never did it fairly well. I will say the plot line got boring around halfway through but I’m glad I pushed through,

A scrumptious, original romantasy perfect for Sarah J. Maas and Holly Black fans. The lush worldbuilding, deep character detail, and romantic plotline make this book really stand out. Imogen and Tarian's sarcastic and flirty banter is so much fun to read. As an accident-prone nerdy klutz myself, I found Imogen to be completely realistic and relatable. Her dynamic with Tarian gave off major Beauty and the Beast retelling vibes, which I loved. This novel had just enough slow burn that wasn't too slow for me. And now I can't wait to read the sequels!

I couldn’t put this down. This romantasy read had some of my favorite tropes, including grumpy x sunshine, enemies to lovers, and fated mates! The world building was clearly well thought out, and it made the story so much more enjoyable! From the banter between side characters to the intensity of the romantic exchanges, this book will have you giggling and kicking your feet.

The plot is pretty interesting, the writing style is also easy to read and the plot flows smoothly. I get to enjoy exploring the world building and its magical and dangerous creatures lurking in the Fae world.

It took a while for me to like the main characters (Tarian and Imogen), the assuming and the miscommunication between makes me feel frustrated sometimes. It would’ve been a lot easier if they just sit and tell the truth from the start.
Nevertheless, I do like the tension and the bickering between them throughout the story as well as the secondary characters like Ethan and Sarah.

I dived into this one thinking of it as a standalone, I was slightly annoyed when I discover it has a cliff-hanger at the end!

Overall, it’s a pretty enjoyable story and there’s still a lot of unanswered questions lingering at the end of the story so I’ll definitely pick up the sequel once it’s out.
I’m hoping we’ll get to discover new things and explore new area with the secret of Imogen is not out in the open.

I received an advanced review copy for free through Netgalley, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Huge thank you to the author and publisher!

This book has me hooked from the first chapter! I love a story about fated mates, enemies to lovers, fae, and a strong FMC. I love a story with a slow burn and the chemistry between Imogen and Tarian kept me coming back for me. This book is definitely great for those who like ACOTAR. Can’t wait for the next book!

The first book in the Curse of Fate and Fae series, Prince of Never was a fun journey into the realm of fantasy romance. If you're a fan of the enemies-to-lovers trope, this book has it all. From the moment I started reading, I was hooked, and I couldn't put it down.

The story revolves around Imogen, a librarian whose life takes a sudden turn when she claims to have been attacked by fantastical creatures. Unfortunately, no one believes her, until she's kidnapped by Tarian, an Unseelie Prince who has no desire to be tied to the mate destined to bring down his kingdom.

I couldn’t put this book down- I am looking forward to the next book to finds out what happens next. Some things annoyed me and felt there could be more character development, but I obviously liked it if I didn’t want to put it down.

It is a captivating fae romance . I would say I liked this book for Imogen. I hate Tarian . The plot and story building is great. The story certainly felt very interesting . The reason for giving it not a 5 star are the stupid behaviour of both Imogen and tarian . There is huge miscommunication between them . Let's hope in the upcoming book of the series they develop and get things sorted out .

The synopsis for this book had me desperate to give it a read... Unfortunately, I think the synopsis was one of the best things about this story.
At its core, this book is attempting to be a fae-based enemies-to-lovers fantasy about fated mates. Very little of this is actually achieved in the execution. Yes, our story takes place in a fae realm and many of our characters are fae. Yes, the idea of fated mates exists and our main characters do have to navigate this type of magic. The whole enemies-to-lovers situation... Not so much. This trope was attempted, but it was not done in a believable way, from the enemy perspective and even the lovers perspective.
On top of difficulties with the romantic trope used in this book and the romantic relationship as a whole, the authors went through so much back-and-forth miscommunication that I felt I was getting whiplash. It made much of the story unenjoyable and difficult to get through.
This story also leaves off on a very underwhelming note, making me think there was one more chapter left when there actually wasn't.
This is the first book in a series, one I will not be continuing with, and one I think you can skip altogether.

My last read of the year and it couldn't be better!

I love fairy and high fae stories, so I said why not end the year reading a story like that, and it's good that I did because I love this story, I leave 2023 with a smile because of this book.

The story of Tiran and Imogen is full of romance that forces you to continue reading, as well as being fun and exciting.

The fairy world of the authors is ideal, there is fantasy but it is not exaggerated and I appreciated that, and the characters are all unique and their functions exquisite, the truth is I had a lot of fun reading each of them.

I definitely want more of this story.

While the beginning parts of the book was good. In the middle things started to get a bit redundant and seemed a little just thrown in to get to the end. However I do really like the plot of the book which is what kept me reading for so long
