Jordan Manning is still flying high after her last big story. People are blowing up the tip line asking her for assistance. When a missing woman's sister calls in in a panic, Jordan stops and listens. Slowly pieces of Marla's disappearance start landing on the table. Things don't quite add up. Jordan will have to dig down to find the truth.

The second book in the Jordan Manning series didn't do it for me. Jordan took on a serial killer in the first book and now we have a disappearance. I'm all for a main character that breaks rules but this time, it just wasn't as good. I really like the journalist POV, kind of a change from a procedural read. This time it just wasn't as good. Lots of unreliable and unlikable characters who had all kinds of flaws.

Thank you Netgalley for the advanced copy of this book.

TV journalist Jordan Manning works to solve the case of a missing child in this second entry in a new series that is sure to appeal to fans of thrillers and women leads.

I received a free copy of, Watch Where They Hide, by Tamron Hall. from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is book 2 of 2 in The Jordan Manning Series. TV journalist Jordan Manning is learning to make a name for herself, when Shelly gets in touch with her to help her find her missing sister Marla. This book was does not have a lot of good moral characters at all. An interesting read, til the end.

Smart female reporter, Jordan Manning, returns in this story of a missing young mother and a sister desperate to find her. A good story that continues the series, but works well as a stand alone book. Easy to follow it is a good book from author Tamron Hall.

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book. Marla goes missing and the police have little to no clues to go on. The family asks Jordan for assistance. A nice read.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGAlley for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest opinion.
I loved the first book in the series so much that this one was a disappointment to me.
It felt flat.
Following her powerhouse debut, As the Wicked Watch, Emmy Award winner Tamron Hall returns with another edge-of-your-seat Jordan Manning thriller. This time Jordan delves into the case of a missing mother of two and uncovers a dangerous and scandalous web of secrets that could lead right to the missing woman—or put Jordan in the crosshairs of her abductors.
just three stars for me

I loved the return of Jordan Manning in book #2, and read this as soon as I got the chance. While I was never bored, I did find that it took awhile to really delve into investigative mystery territory. However, I still found the novel highly entertaining. Jordan is such a fun, real, smart character...and I can't wait to see what case she cracks next!

Heart pounding thriller that left me on the edge of my seat. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one. Definitely one of the best books this year.

I loved the first book in this series SO much. This one was a letdown. The story wasn’t intriguing. There was no surprise ending. And Jordan felt like a different character.
