I love this series. Kimberly truly has such a great writing style. I loved this almost twist on Rapunzel. Dante and Cherry were so much fun to read. I loved that this one was more of a slow-burn. I really hope there's more in this series.

I loved this book, it was adorable, sexy, and funny. We have already placed an order for this at our library, I cannot wait to share it with our patrons.

Thank you to the author, publisher and @NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review!
KIIIMBERLYYYYY! Why are these SO CUTE?! And how do you fit that many feels into these novels? Can I just… with the bathtub scene? And the throne? Girl...
If you’re looking for a fun, spicy fantasy series I BEG YOU to pick this series up ASAP!

Book 3 in this fun series was just as hilarious as the first two! I don’t know if the author has any more planned but I’m glad I got to binge this series at once so far.
There were a couple of options for which demon would be next in the lineup and I really liked which one was chosen. I also enjoyed the fMC that was a part of this story. While it technically was a little cheesy of a choice, it still felt like a good fit for the series where happily ever afters make for such good comfort reads. Miscommunication is usually a much hated trope for me but it was done relatively well here with a good reason. I like how that was handled throughout and also how it was solved in the end.
So far, the plots of the first two books were my biggest issues with this series but I’m happy to say that this worked better for me in this third book. The adventure was a lot more small scale for most of the book and the two big dramatic events that did happen were still within a relatively small group of people and worked well within the story. I’m really happy how that worked out.
As with the others, I listened to the audiobook of this one. I don’t know if I just didn’t notice this before in the other two but some of the pronunciations just really threw me off guard in this one. Other than that though, it was still an enjoyable experience.
Check out my rambly TT review that’ll be available within the next few days!

I would love for there to be 50 more of Mead Mishaps entries. Give every Demon on the ship a fated mated. I was interested in Dante from the first book, second book I only wanted more and now I am obsessed.
Love a silver haired MMC. Cherry was also so adorable and feisty. Fantastic a grumpy/sunshine.

This is a really fun and fast paced series that I love coming back to when I am in a reading slump. These covers are great and I am happy an author whose works I enjoy is being traditionally published, and will hopefully reach a broader market!

DNF. I'm absolutely positive that this book is just as good as the other two in the series, both of which I did really enjoy! My DNFing of this book is nothing to do with its quality- it is simply a personal thing. I just cannot read books where a character reunites with a previously thought-to-be-dead sibling. I just can't. Somehow it's worse to me than reading a book where a sibling actually dies. I don't know for sure that that's what happens in this book but given that it's about Cherry (which I did not know before I picked it up- again, I liked the rest of the series enough to pick this up without actually reading the description and that's my fault) I think it's a safe assumption to make.
Thank you to Orbit books and NetGalley for providing me with an eARC of this book

And that's a wrap on the novels in the Mead Mishaps series.
I really enjoyed this magical series that are all intertwined so it's best to start at the beginning with That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Human. That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Human follows a similar premise as the previous two novels in the series, but this time it's a human who's in need of saving and Dante, the dragon, is there to rescue her. He imprints on this human very quickly, but she isn't as smitten with Dante as he is with her. It reminded me a little of Beauty and the Beast at parts, but steamier. I don't want to say who the human is so it doesn't spoil anything about the previous two books. It was a great way to close a chapter on this series.
I really enjoy Kimberly Lemmings writing and I'm looking forward to what she writes next.
Thanks to Orbit Books and Netgalley for a copy for review consideration.

The cutest book I've read so far. It was so fun to read this one. I love the humor in here. This would make a great book club read. I loved Dante, he was such a character.

Thank you to Orbit Books via NetGalley for a digital copy of the rerelease.
That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Human is another fun and consistent installment within Lemming’s world. Cherry is bright and cheerful, the perfect contrast to Dante’s grumpy exterior. Grumpy/sunshine at its finest. Lemming shows off her sense of humor and morals throughout her books, leading her to be permanently on my radar from her first book.
As a romance, the novel was not a disappointment. As a book with a long lost sister being returned to her family, it was. However, I would categorize this due to my expectations rather than a failing on Lemming’s part.
While I didn’t enjoy this installment quite as much as the last two, by no means was it bad by any standard, just a little different within execution, missing some of the more lovable side characters in larger roles. Fans will fall in love with Cherry and Dante in their story and enjoy explorations of each of their pasts and their off the charts chemistry.
Lemming proves again that I do enjoy cozy fantasy and has me eagerly anticipating her next adventure!
I love how Lemming once again combined romance, comedy, and fantasy into her stories into the perfect balance of each!

The third book in the Mead Mishaps series follows Cherry's misadventures as she is being held by a dragon on an island, only to be kidnapped by another dragon (after she drugs him). Cherry is a girl after my own heart, she is a book lover and wants to see the world. Dante goes off in search of his mate and stumbles upon her on a secluded island guarded by another dragon.
This story is hilarious and honestly my favorite of the series. There's more shenanigans, creatures, a cat (who is just a little on the weird side), books, a dragon who has no idea the value of things, and talking sword (yes Alexis is back, and as sassy as ever).
Highly recommend and I am completely in love with this series, the spice is spicing and the banter is freaking hilarious.
I got an eARC of the book from Orbit, but also purchased a physical copy as soon as it was available.

This was so FUN. It was a fantasy romcom with the fmc named cinnamon who goes on an adventure and from there it gets steamy, Magical and so freaking funny. Not only is there adventure but the romance that grows was so cute, its starts with them denying it. I found myself enjoying my time with this read and laughing a bit. It was fun.

I love all of the books in this series and That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Human was no different! I love the mix of fantasy and comedy. This book was yet again a fun and quirky read, with funny main characters that make it hard to put the book down!

I need to read the others in this series! This book was great! So funny and unexpected. I loved the suggestions on how to win her over. Boys are so simple even 700 yr old dragon shifter boys.
These covers are amazing and the titles let you know what you are in for as well. Love the group of friends and these shifters finding their mate.
Definitely a fan of Rebecca as in I want her on my team but would not want to be alone with her.

Another excellent read. I cannot get enough of “Mead and Mishaps“ series. Kimberly Lemming is an automatic buy author for me. The writing every-time is always going to be good. This is such a fun cozy fantasy read even with a hint of 🌶️ to keep you warm.

Thank you Netgalley and Orbit for the ARC!
- This series is just so fun, and this book continues the excellence of the first two!
- I loved getting to learn more about the magical creatures and some of the other lands through this one! Especially the stuff about what it was like for dragons before Myva's curse.
- I lovedddd all the nonsense that Rebekah and Alexis brought!
- Seeing how different Cherry is based on how Felix's advice is applied was so entertaining!

If you enjoy Kimberly Lemming's other books, you know what you're getting into: irreverence, hilarity, magic, and spice. That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Human follows a similar formula to the first two books, and it's just an all around good time. I always want more spice with these books because I think Lemming writes steamy scenes well, but overall, no complaints from me! This was a darn good time!
Thank you to NetGalley and Orbit Books for the advanced reader copy!

What else can you want from the third installment of the Mead Mishaps but a socially clumsy dragon falling for a girl who has been locked in a tower for nearly 5 years? Maybe she has Stockholm Syndrome, maybe she just really needs to get laid, maybe this dragon is just really hot and she lucked out on finding one that wants to give her all the gold in his hoard.
I had so much fun with this book and all of the others in this series. I really am not doing it enough justice by trying to give you a silly summary. There is so much more to this book. Dante and his new love interest (not included for the possible spoiler) were just as cute as Cinnamon and Fallon as well as Brie and Felix.
The adventures continue as we chase a few phoenix across the sky, get thrown into a gladiatorial ring, and maybe even hunt down a unicorn. Don’t worry, the princess trapped in this tower is far from a fainting flower. She is strong and stubborn and you will certainly understand why when you read this book. I cannot wait for more from this author and this world.

I absolutely love these books. Everything about them brings me joy, there is humour, steamy sex scenes, cozy fantasy, drama, and the best cast of characters I have come across in a long time. Absolutely in love.

Thank you to Netgally, the publishers, and Kimberly Lemming
When I requested this book I was unaware that it was apart of a series, one that requires you to read the previous books for this one to make sense. I am unable to read all the previous books along with this one before the publish date. Therefore, I will rate this a fair 3/5 stars and will adjust the rating and review when I am able to read all the books in the series along with this one.
