This is a quick to spice, easy-to-read, fun romance, cozy fantasy with a quirky cast of characters.

The level and immediacy of spice is not quite my style - but I’m sure many will enjoy it!

In a twist from the first book a human is saved by a demon and an adventure begins as our demon will do almost anything to win over the human he saved. Overall I enjoyed the awkward moments that come from too much isolation and chemistry as they worked together to make some bad people face the music. I could say more but no spoilers from me.

This book was laugh out loud funny! I couldn’t put it down and that’s saying something for book 3 in a series! Loved the MMC and FMC’s banter and dynamic. Would definitely recommend to any romantasy lover who enjoys a good rom com!

My Rating: 3.25

My Review: I heard such wonderful things about this book and author and I am happy I got read it but there were something things that were not the best that is why I gave it a low rating.
So you have a human girl name cinnamon you live in a village were they a heroes who fight evil creatures. One day she saved a demon and have to help with a something and go on a journey, I love cinnamon she is funny and say what is on her mind and love parts in the book when she cooks. Then the demon he was good like him but to much I am all scary but he soft when it comes to cinnamon I felt sometimes when the author was trying to make something funny it was always in a cuss word now I do Not mind a cuss words from time to time but it happened at lot.
Most of the book was spicy parts and the journey I did in joy the book but will not read again I do think people should read it once. This was for the first book I am sorry

This was a hilarious good time. I love Alexis. I want more books with these cute cozy funny but spicy vibes. Amazing

Possibly my favorite of the Mead Mishaps books, with a good balance of plot and character and relationship. I'm still a little foggy on how Cherry got from where she disappeared to where she ended up but it didn't ruin my enjoyment.

I like what I like and sometimes what I like is a super old, socially awkward dragon-demon wooing this woman. Why not.

So good!! I loved this so much! Dante is such a fun character, I just loved how grumpy he was, especially about the cat! I really liked how much he developed into a deeper character over the course of the book, and how much he was hiding behind his grumpy exterior. Cherry is hilarious, just like all the FMC in this series! I was rolling with laughter so many times! I wish there was a little more spice, but the spicy scenes that were included were super good! Highly recommend this entire series!

Thank you to Netgalley and Orbit Books for the ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review!

So cute. Love this whole series. I still think the first book is my favorite but this is a close second! I loved the surprise female love interest and love Dante obviously. These books are so fun and cute. Would definitely recommend for all cozy fantasy lovers.

The beginning was very confusing to me at first. After about a third of the way through, this book became enjoyable and I ended up really loving it.
This book follows Cherry, who is the sister of the heroine in the first book. Strangely enough, their reunion was not at all a part of this story, up until the last five pages of the epilogue.
Like the other books in this series, there’s insta-love, which I don’t mind, because I like the way Kimberly Lemming writes it. I really liked Dante, and I liked Cherry too, but I loved Alexis the most (the talking sword from the Mistlefoe novella). I hope we get to see Alexis as a human someday with her own book.
One more little thing I didn’t like was the way the main character Cherry swears. It’s very juvenile, especially when she also allows herself to say normal swear words like the f-bomb. Overall, I enjoyed this book!
thank you for this ARC!

This was such a fun read! It was the first book I've read by Kimberly Lemming and I will definitely be checking out the rest of her work. Even though this was the third book in the series, you can read it as a standalone and follow along. There are some references to prior books, but she provides enough context that you aren't missing out. This book was really funny and just an absolute joy to read. There is a decent spice level, so curl up, get cozy, and enjoy!

Thank you to the publisher, the author and Netgalley for a copy of the book. That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Human is the third book in the Mead Mishaps series, and is my favorite in the series, hands down. Cherry was kidnapped and held captive by a dragon for five years. When she finally manages to escape/be rescued, it is only to end up with Dante who recognizes her as his fated mate. Dante is ready to lock it down but after five years in captivity, Cherry wants to be free. She wants to see the world and he is more than happy to give it to her in a diamond encrusted basket. He's afraid of doing too much, and she's afraid of caring too much. The two go on an adventure as Dante tries to help her realize that love is not a prison.

The same cast of characters are back for this installment and cause just as much mayhem. I giggled, laughed and kicked my legs in the air. Dante is swoon material and Cherry is so funny and brave. We meet new characters I hope will get their own stories. Each book in this series gets better, and I hope this author keeps them coming. I highly recommend this book.

Arc from netgalley

If you’ve read the previous books, you’ll enjoy seeing Dante get the happy ending he’s been waiting for. Our FMC (her name is a bit of a spoiler if you’ve been following the series) has been living trapped in a tower, desperate for escape. When she gets saved by a dragon (and not so accidentally drugs him) she gets a little more than she bargained for.

In classic Kimberly Lemming fashion,
Dante is a touch her and die type but he’s also a well meaning dragon adorably clueless to the ways of human women. The FMC is spunky and hilarious, and together they have some charming adventures along with some steamy moments!

I read That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Human and was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it. I was a little iffy in the beginning just because the last books fell a little flat for me, but I enjoyed this book a lot. Kimberly Lemming has a very unique and entrancing writing style and is able to keep readers entertained with her story telling. Sometimes all you need in your life is an insta love fantasy smut book. Dante & Cherry are such an interesting and fun couple, I loved watching their progression and development throughout the story. I gave this book a 3.75 stars and would definitely recommend to my audience. Thank you for the reading opportunity!

Another 10/10 for Lemming! I love this series so so much, it's a ton of fun and I'd read 10 more of these.

I need to know what kindve magic Kimberly Lemming is putting into these books to make them so damn addictive?

This is a spicy and cozy fantasy romance with a grumpy dragon shifter demon and adventurous human who’s spent the past 5 years stuck on an island after being kidnapped by a (different) dragon. I normally don’t like insta love but Kimberly does it so well working it into the fated mates trope!

I love the Mead Mishaps series and the third book does not disappoint!

I was hoping that we'd find Cherry after learning about her disappearance and assumed death in the first book, so finding out she was alive was great. I do wish there was a little bit more about Gideon and Dante's relationship, his showing up wasn't ever really explained. I do also wish that we got more in the epilogue about Cherry's homecoming, but hopefully that will be addressed in the next book. And can we talk about Alexis coming back?! I love that sword and I think I might need a novella of her adventures!

All in all a great addition to the series. The books are all light hearted, hilarious, bingeable, cozy reads and I love them so much!

I really loved the characters in this book. They were lovable and funny. Those moment when Dante ask for advice about his relationship with Cherry was so funny and adorable. I love how Cherry is such a feisty woman.

The love story is enjoyable. There's not much plot going on in this book. It is more of a character based story, but I enjoyed it a lot since Cherry and Dante are so lovable. I also loved that there's diversity in this book. As a black woman, I love to read about other black women been loved and been taking care of.

It is a great romcom book and can't wait to keep reading books from this word.

For the final time we join the world of Cin, Fallon and all our other favorites, but this time our heroine is Cherry…cins long lost sister. Don’t worry it’s not about their reunion, but about her new romance with Dante. I love this series and it’s quirky mix of humor and romance, set in a world of fantasy.
