Dashing Through the Snow and Pining for You are the perfect cozy holiday listens! The narrators bring all the fun and feels, especially with Willow’s hilarious train trip adventure and Theo’s cute quest to win back his childhood love. Both stories are sweet and romantic, with just the right amount of Christmas magic. These novellas are totally perfect for anyone in the mood for a feel-good, heartwarming holiday escape!

Love both books so very much. I loved both couples' cute stories. They are hallmark feels, and I wish that both couples had a longer story. These are also very short stories, so it's a quick read that is perfect for an in-between book.

K.I.S.S. - Keep It Short & Sweet perfectly sums up Snowy Serendipity! This is a two in one read by Melissa Ferguson - Dashing Through the Snow (also in On the Way to Christmas) and Pining for You (also in This Time Around). This is a first time reading this author and not sure if all her reads are considered Novellas but these were sweet appetizers as some may say.

Both could be longer and probably just as enjoyable however, I still enjoyed them. My favorite of the two was Dashing through the Snow - this one just made me smile. Willow's boyfriend of 7 years - right when she thought he was going to propose, he runs off with another woman. Heart broken and now on a 2-week romantic train ride (that was supposed to be when she got engaged) - there are men who are all chiming for her attention.

Just a really sweet read - no other word for it! If you are looking for something to make you smile then this is the read for you!

What a cutesy winter read! (Im a little late though).
This consists of 2 wintery romances. Let me review them separately.

The first is so good it literally feels like magic. I loved this story.it was so cute and cozy, i loved the characters, and i actually enjoyed that they were still a bit mysterious. Absolutely loved it 5 stars

The second is also pretty cute, a romance on a christmas tree farm, and i like the characters for sure. They were childhood friends then childhood lovers then broke up and now theyre back again. My only doubt? Their reason for breakup (TW: cheating). Pretty good, but wouldve been better with another reason for their previous breakup, 3 stars

And that combines into a 4 star read. Both are enjoyable, and i def recommend, especially as a cutesy palette cleanser near christmas.

the narrator did a really good job, i was fully immersed! she has a really nice voice, and i kind of forgot that i was listening to an audiobook.

Thank you to netgalley and the author for sending me the book in exchange for an honest review

I usually love a wintery/ Christmas novella, but these two novellas just didn't do it for me. Both Dashing Through The Snow and Pining For You were both very flat and boring. It was very hard to catch the vibe and overall, I just wanted a little more.
Thank you NetGalley for this read.

I enjoyed the audiobook Snowy Serendipity by Melissa Ferguson. It was two easy to listen to short stories. The narration was excellent.
Dashing Through the Snow took me with Willow on a Christmas themed train trip. It was not an ordinary train ride. Willow met many people on her adventure. It made me want to look into a train ride for the holidays.
Pining for You was a novella that took me to a tree farm. Both stories put me in a holiday mood.
Thank you to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson Zondervan Audio. This is my personal review.

Overall this book was okay. I did the audio version and the narrator was nice to listen to.

The first story was a sweet learn to fall in love again romance. It was a quick short story that had a fun plot with Christmas and all the people she grew to love.

The second story was a little harder to follow. The short stories are nice, but it seemed they tried to get too much information/detail in such a short amount of time at times I felt myself saying wait what? When they talked about Theo getting punched in the face by Luke after their break up years ago, and then she was confused how Theo knew Luke when they were in the store together years later. Why would she be confused? It was just a little too short or too much information.

This was so much fun to listen to. This book was two novellas put together, and I had the best time. Dashing through the snow was adorable and everything I could want in a holiday romance. Pining for You was good, but I think the first one was definitely my favorite of the two.
The narration was wonderful and I will definitely be looking at more books they have narrated!

This was a very cute, fun, quick read of 2 Christmas themed novellas! The perfect pallet cleanser after reading some heavier stories. I absolutely adore Ferguson's writing style and always look forward to reading her next one. Thank you to NetGalley and to the publisher for my audio copy!!

Both stories were interesting. Light and heartwarming, clean reads with happily ever afters.

I enjoy reading Melissa Ferguson’s books. She’s a wonderful writer with a great imagination.

This is a set of two Christmas stories. I think I liked the first one, Dashing through the snow, the best. It involved train travel which I love, excursions, chess matches, great characters, and even an odd little dietary aspect. I especially liked Clarence and Ian.
It focused on Willow's healing from a break up. The end scene with Jonas made me laugh. It was perfect!

Pining for You is about second chances. Theo and Skye were best friends 14 years ago before Skye moved away. Now she's back and Theo is thrown together with her. They seem like an unusual pairing until you start learning more about their pasts.

These stories are pretty light, enjoyable listens. The narrators were good. It's fun. Thank you to Thomas Nelson audio for providing me with a free audiobook. All opinions are my own.

A great duo of two stories set in the winter. The narrators are great and are easy to listen to.

Dashing Through The Snow is a funny, laugh out loud story that includes a Christmas Elf, a Train, and a mysterious older gentleman.

Pining For You is set on a Christmas tree farm. It is a second chance, small town romance.

Thank you NetGalley for audio ARC of this book!

First of all this is two novellas in one. So with this audio you get a 2 for 1! I have never read anything by this author but now I’m looking for more!

Pinning for You

First of all I enjoyed the narration of this audiobook. I am always a sucker for dual narration. I love that! They did a great job portraying the characters. I enjoyed the plot and characters. Short and sweet stories! Would recommend to others for sure!

Two short stories. The first is definitely Christmasy. Willow has tickets on the Christmas Train but her boyfriend who bought the tickets dumped her two days before. She is definitely quirky as she has nutritional yeast in her suitcase and wears Christmas sweaters and elf shoes (just what is needed on the Christmas Train. The second book is not a Christmas story but is about Skye whose heart was broken 14 years before by Theo, her childhood friend. Can she trust him when he comes back to the farm?

This was quick Christmas novellas, but the problem with that is that you just barely get into the world and then everything is finished. I didn't get enough time with the characters and no time to work through problems so everything resolves so easily. I guess some people would like that especially around the holidays but I like more drawn out stories. I liked the first novella better than the second one for sure.

Snowy Serendipity offers a charming premise with its wintery backdrop and themes of unexpected romance. The characters are relatable, and the setting is beautifully described, evoking a cozy atmosphere. While it has its sweet moments, it ultimately lacks the depth and originality to leave a lasting impression. A nice read for the season.

I wish I waited a few more months for this one but I still loved it. it was super cute and light and I loved our fmc. I usually dislike the dmc so that's saying a lot from me.
