Really really enjoyed this! I loved the story and I was hooked the whole time. Definitely recommend!
Thank you NetGalley and Nora Roberts!

I enjoyed this so much more than the last Nora Roberts I read. While I’ve learned there’s typically an element that’s unrealistic (science fiction/paranormal) this one didn’t bother me as it’s closer to reality if only slightly. Thea was a lovely main character and I came to adore her entire quirky family in this novel. All the characters felt complete and the small town setting was perfect. Thea and her family suffer a great tragedy and come closer than ever as they navigate a new life that’s drastically different than the one they anticipated. Honestly, this felt more like a romance or coming of age novel than a thriller with a bit of psychological suspense thrown in. I enjoyed the story and was satisfied with the ending. What more could a reader want???

This is one of my go to authors and while I liked it , it wasn’t one of my favorites. This one follows a girl whose parents were murdered when she was a child due to greed and self righteousness. She has physic like powers as well did the murdered which allowed her to see it without being there.
There is a lot of backstory in the beginning which not everyone may appreciate but I found it fit with the story . Over the years she fights the connection ruin with the murderer until she can get her revenge.
The guy next door is none other than her teenage crush and the little boy who wins her heart as well as man .
I think k the story could have done without the open door scene as it didn’t add anything to the story

Such an interesting, thrilling, emotional and joyful book all rolled into one! I loved our characters and the storyline, but some of the scenes were a lot to take in with death and twisted minds.
Would recommend for an engaging and shocking read!

I've been reading Nora Roberts books for almost 30 years. For years, she was an auto-buy author for me. That said, I struggled my way through this book. Maybe I've just ready too many Roberts titles? Or maybe my likes and dislikes have changed as I've gotten older and her style of writing just doesn't work for me anymore? Whatever the issue was, it was definitely a ME issue. I can see other people really enjoying this book. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is a fan of Roberts' work.
Despite my issues with this book, I'm not ready to let go of my love of all things Nora Roberts, and when her next title releases I'll be in line to read it. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC copy of this book.

Mind Games by Nora Roberts is a fascinating novel. It is an interesting blend of romance, sci-fi, and psychological thriller. This creative novel is a solid read. It was a bit slow in the middle but had a really exciting ending. Overall, I really enjoyed this novel. I received a digital copy of this book from the publisher with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.

As much as I love the JDR books (and I honestly, it’s close to obsession with them), there’s just something extra amazing about a thriller from Nora and this one didn’t disappoint.
I love love loved Thea, Rem, and Lucy. They’re such an amazing family and I was instantly taken in by their unwavering support and love for each other. There are a good amount of secondary characters here, but nothing overwhelming and everyone has a purpose.
Plot wise, it’s so good. I will say that it’s sort of a slow meandering, but really it’s more of a building of the set up, the stakes, and the future need for resolution. And I reveled in the time we got with all of them.
Overall, I know this is sort of a vague review, but I think this is a story that needs to unfold the way it does. For me, it was satisfying and I can’t wait to see what the next Nora book brings.
**Huge thanks to the publisher for providing the arc free of charge**

Every time I pick up a book by Nora Roberts, I know I am in for a treat. I was excited to get a digital advance reader copy of Mind Games from Net Galley and St, Martin's Press. The story is about Thea, whose parents were murdered when she was a child, and the bond she has with her brother and grandmother. Thea has the ability to see into others' minds, and she "saw" her parents' murders, and used that information to put the killer behind bars. Thea has built a nice life for herself, but the murderer continues to torment her, since he, too, can see into others' minds. As always with a Nora Roberts book, there is a romance, and I enjoyed the development of the relationship with Thea and Tyler, her new neighbor, and his young son. This book is another five-star read from Nora Roberts!

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to read this this book before it expired. I normally enjoy reading books by Nora Roberts.

I love Nora Roberts books. This one is great! Intriguing and exciting and held my interest from start to finish. I highly recommend this story.

Thea and her brother Rem spend two weeks with their grandmother every summer; it's her favorite part of the year. The summer when Thea is 12 they head to her grandmothers house from Virginia to Kentucky, little did she know everything was going to change. As she sleeps she a a very lucid dream where her parents are murdered in their home; she wakes to find her grandmother crying from a similar dream. But with Thea's information and detailed description of events, they catch her parents murderer.
Thea and Rem now live on the farm with Grammie; never to return back to their old home. Thea discovers she has the ability to see into people's minds and souls. Grammie calls it a gift which all the women in the family have had, but to Thea it feels more like a curse because her parent's murderer how is spending life in a max security prison has the same ability.
You follow through Thea's life as she deals navigates this ability and the effects it has on her an her relationships. When she cannot take it any more she comes head to head with her parent's murder and it all changes.
Thank you Netgalley, they author and publisher for the ARC!

Thank you Netgalley for the ARC of this book. Nora Robert can do no wrong!! This book was fantastic! I can only describe it as paranormal romance and suspense. The storyline was great and the characters were incredible. I loved every word.

I looooove non-romance Nora Roberts, and this one is no exception. I'm excited to read her next! Thank you for the opportunity to review.

This one kept me on the edge of the seat and turning the pages. I recommend for a good autumn vibes read!

I love Nora Roberts writing, she always manages to invoke all the emotions from me and I'm always fully invested in the characters and their story. While there is romance this book focus' heavy on the thriller, suspense and tragedy aspects. The book focuses mostly on the heroines backstory and life with her love interest coming into play late in the book. While I was fully invested in her I do wish there was a bit more romance, maybe earlier introduced and then a slow burn. Overall, another success story by Nora Roberts.

Are you a Nora Roberts fan? Mind Games was the second book I have read by her, and I think I have really been missing out by not reading more by this amazing author.
Mind Games is a paranormal romantic suspense. I am not sure how else to describe it.
At first, I was not sure I was going to enjoy the paranormal aspect of the story but that is the part that made this story binge worthy. I could not put this book down!

This was fantastic! Classic, strong story by Nora Roberts! I love settling in for a compelling story by this author! She never disappoints!

Thank you St. Martin's Press and Nora Roberts for a #gifted copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
I loved the concept of this book! Not only Thea’s psychic ability to see things happening in real-time but also the ability to actually get into people's minds was such a great plot point.
If this book were exclusively about that and focused on the thriller aspect, it would have been an easy 5-star. Unfortunately, the romance aspect of it felt too drawn out and made this book too long. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the romance and thought seeing Thea living her life after her parents were killed was important, but I feel like I just kept waiting for something bigger to happen. The romance seemed to overshadow the first half of the book being about a crime.
That said, I really enjoyed the ending and the reason the book was titled Mind Games. I loved all of the characters and their motivations. I also loved the unique bond Thea and her grandmother shared because of their psychic gifts.
Overall, I enjoyed this book, I just think I was expecting more of a thriller than a romance.

Every summer, the Fox family drive from Virginia to Kentucky for the kids, Thea, and Rem's annual two week visit with Grammie, Lucy. The family looks forward to it every year, the kids get to run around freely, and the parents have some much-needed alone time.
One night, Thea and Lucy are awoken by a vivid nightmare of her parent's brutal murder. As the two lay eyes on each other, they knew it wasn't a nightmare, it was a vision of what happened. Lucy and Thea share the sight, which allows them to see things others can't.
The kids will grow up in Redbud Hollow with Grammie and because of Thea's vision, the murderer will spend his life in prison. The sight is seen as a gift however, Thea thinks of it more of a curse because he also has the same ability, and uses it against her.
Mind Games might be my favourite new release of 2024.
Mind Games is a riveting novel, a little bit of a thriller and part coming of age story with lots of suspense, paranormal vibes, and a dash of romance. I found everything was well balanced, there was the perfect amount of all the aspects mixed throughout the story.
I love Nora Roberts writing style, she has a way of instantly capturing readers full attention with a few sentences. Her storytelling is out of this world. This book is not an exemption, I was hooked from page one and couldn't get enough. The setting, the characters, the character development and relationships, and the plot were so well written.
Thank you Netgalley and St. Martin's Press for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Traveling With T’s Thoughts:
For many years, I did not read books by Nora Roberts. It wasn’t that I didn’t think she was a good author, but more there were so many other books I wanted to read, I never got around to reading her books.
This is not the case anymore. I eagerly await her next book and can’t wait to get my hands on it so I can read the next story that is going to entertain me like crazy.
What I liked:
This cover is really pretty and sets the scene for the book.
Thea. I love characters who are strong and who grow stronger because they have to grow stronger. Thea was a strong character, even as a kid, but as she grows into adulthood, as she does mind battles with the man who killed her parents, she has no choice but to grow stronger and even more of an interesting character.
The community in this book. People helping people, people supporting Thea and Rem.
Bottom line: While this book is different from the romantic suspense books that I love by Nora Roberts, I still enjoyed it!
