I can not rant and rave enough about this series! They are so well written and jammed packed full of details and action. Being an animal lover I love these even more, especially knowing the dog will never be killed off.

I have read 4 of her novels now and each one is just as amazing as the last. I love how the character interconnect but these can be read as standalones as well. Don’t wait - run and read these now!

I know, I know, I say this every time. But Tee O'Fallon really is my exception to the rule, and I honestly think this is my new favorite of hers! I swear my delay between reading and reviewing is not a reflection of the book's quality but of how busy I've been!

I think it's because this book combined all of my favorite things. It was a mafia romance, undercover, romantic suspense all wrapped up in one book. I knew just a few chapters in that I was going to love it; I'm pretty sure I texted one of my friends a screenshot like, "holy crap, this was written for me" 😂 The pacing in all of her books is always spot on, and I devoured this in about a day. I actually made myself slow down at the end because I really wanted to savor it.

I also feel like this would be a good jumping-in point for anyone who reads a lot of either dark romance or mafia romance but who hasn't really gotten into romantic suspense. Since this combines many of those elements, it would be a great place to start, and then you can get hooked and go back and read the rest of the series!

I have two incredibly niche things that I would have liked to have seen, and one of them is absolutely a me problem. The first is that I kept getting confused by Jamie's name. Again, see sleep-deprived and busy me, but the switch between "Jamie" and "Jimmy" kept throwing me off. The second thing is only a wish because of how much I love this series, but I really wanted to see more from the rest of the guys POV when the crew came in to save everyone at the end. I love the comradery you get in this series and seeing how much this group cares about one another. I selfishly wanted to see that moment of "oh my god he's asking for help let's go get our boy", so I'll just imagine it in my mind!

Every time I read one of her books, she reminds me of why I love romantic suspense so much. Tee O'Fallon is really one of the best in the genre, and like usual, I'll be waiting for whatever she brings us next!

Dnf at 30%. This is not for me. I feel like this book could have been great. I also struggle with the writing style and the characters in it.

Thank you Entangled Publishing, NetGalley and Tee O'Fallon for providing me with this ARC in exchange for an honest review

Exciting and engaging plot and steamy, swoony romance. I love men in uniform in general so this book series has been fun to read.

K-9 officer Jamie goes undercover at the prison in order to infiltrate the Mancusco crime family. He gets out of prison and is in the ranks of the Mancusco family, except he wasn’t expecting Bella Bianco. Bella has a successful Italian restaurant but is kept under the strict hand of her family. She has an idea of what they do but is not involved at all, and wants to get out. She has to decide if she can trust Jamie so she can escape once and for all.
This was another good book from O’Fallon. Her stories are always well written and interesting. I love the new Federal K-9 series. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this one as mob type stories are usually what I gravitate towards, but I was pleasantly surprised at how I enjoyed it. I would recommend for others if they like police procedurals and canine stories.

Yummy men and adorable pups who wouldn't love it!

I didn’t love this one as much as I hoped I would. To me, the plot line felt pretty predictable and I didn’t feel too attached to the characters. Overall, it wasn’t bad but not a book I would find myself recommending to a friend or re reading.

Above and Beyond is the final book in the Federal K-9 series.

This book features Jamie and Bella’s stories. An mob style story with some violence it is a romantic suspense story to the core. It can be read as a standalone but as the epilogue in this final book revisits the previous main characters and their K-9’s, I would recommend reading the others in the series. Not only to familiarize yourself with the characters, but simply because they are fantastic.

Jamie is undercover in a maximum security prison gaining intel on a prominent crime family. When the man he is gaining trust with introduces him to his mother, Paola, the true head of the family, he gets more than he bargained for.

Bella owes everything to Paola, she basically raised her and loaned her some money to finance the restaurant she runs. While Paola owns 51% she lets Bella run the restaurant without much interference unless Bella asks about the finances. Then it becomes an issue. When Bella realizes what her restaurant is being used for, she feels betrayed.

Jamie and Bella meet and fall fast, their connection is quite strong. The storyline moves at a great pace and kept me hooked until I made it through to the end in one sitting. Great story to end the series.

When an undercover cop meets the niece of the lady mobster he’s undercover with, sparks fly. What’s worse is when his dog falls for her to. But is she in cahoots with her aunt?

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own

Family love is at the story's core, with Jamie willing to help his strained relationship with his father and Bella navigating her complex dynamic with her aunt and cousin. While the romance's initial setup may seem rushed, Jamie and Bella's relationship evolves authentically as they support and connect with each other. Jamie's undercover mission with the mob adds tension and intrigue, leading to gripping moments despite the limited action. Overall, the story is engaging and suspenseful, with nuanced character dynamics and a satisfying resolution. Overall, it is a compelling romantic suspense with well-developed characters and a thoughtfully crafted plot.

I met Tee O’Fallon at a book conference about 8 years ago and have enjoyed reading her books ever since. Who doesn’t love a good K-9 story! And with Tee’s personal experience the books are always written accurately and well.
Above N Beyond is the last book in this series. Each book can be read as a stand alone but it is fun to see other characters appear.
I am not usually fan of any mafia book but trusted Tee to do it well and she did. Jamie is a federal agent who agrees to go undercover with a mafia family in order to get his dad who is dying of cancer out of prison.
Bella is the niece in the mafia family. He rents an apartment from her. It is a slow burn romance but has some steam.
Another great story by Tee.

Above N’ Beyond is a police K9/ mafia romance with a type of enemies to lover's trope. It is a dual perspective of Jaime and Bella. I Have really enjoyed this series, this book I think is more plot heavy then the others, with Jaime and Bella’s relationship development lacking because of it. The story was suspenseful and the buildup to major plot points was great. Jaime was a bit wooden and lacking in some areas for me, but I really liked his K9 partner and his relationship with Bella. There was so much talk about food and wine and Bella’s restaurant setting sounded amazing. I was hungry all the time, I love a book with a lot of food references. Bella was great. She was so hard working and just stuck with such a horrible family, I loved seeing her step up at the end. There were some delicious and spicy moments with some chemistry. I just wanted more build up, tension and maybe some banter between Jaime and Bella, it was still a great read and addition to the series. I would recommend checking it out.
I received an advanced ebook, via Netgalley. This review is my own honest opinion.

Above N' Beyond by Tee O' Fallon is the last book in the K-9 Federal Series. The story follows Jamie Pataglio , a Federal agent who made a deal with the FBI to infiltrate the Marcusco crime family and gather information in order to take them down. If he does this they will let his father who is dying of cancer out of prison. The easiest way to stay close to the family's operation is staying in the renfed apartment of Paloa Marcusco's niece , Bella Bianco, who happens to have a soft spot for his dog, Jax. Jamie thought he would discover some secrets, but didn't plan on falling in love.
This was my first mafia / cop romance. I expected it to be a little cheesy, but it showed the different dynamics of family well. It was a bit of a slow burn but I loved how Bella and Jamie got to know each other first. I'm glad you can read all of these as stand-alones but now I'm curious about everyone else in the K-9 Federal Series stories.

I enjoyed this in one sitting even though the plot was very predictable. Jamie is undercover and Bella is caught in the middle as she is part owner of a mafia family's restaurant. Mixing undercover and romance was always going to end badly and I waited for the inevitable reveal, third-act break-up and feelings of betrayal that Bella would feel when she realised how many lies had been told to her.
I expected there to be more crime and mafia-style drama and tensions but there wasn't much beyond meetings and drinking wine until the last scenes where there is a big showdown between Jamie and the family when his cover is blown.
My favourite aspects of the story were the dogs. I loved the scenes where Jax showed his skills. He had a lovely bond with Jamie. Gnocchi, the new pup was also cute. The romance between Jamie and Bella was quite sweet. They bonded over the dogs and they made a nice couple.
This was an easy, untaxing read that I enjoyed reading over a few hours. 3.5. stars.

A nice read that can be read as a stand-a-lone. However, you will feel like you need to read the previous books.

Above 'N' Beyond is an AMAZING romantic suspense by Tee O'Fallon. This is Book #7 in the Federal K-9 series and can be read as a standalone.

Determined to bring down the Manusco Crime Family to help his father, Sergeant Jamie Pataglio and his K9 Jax go undercover for the FBI and in the process meet Bella Bianco who turns his world upside down in this fast paced, slow burn, steamy, mob romance story. If you want a captivating story this is your book. Being the first book in this series as well as by this author that I have read I was beyond Amazed and couldn’t put it down.

I was sent this ARC from NetGalley/Entangled Publishing and am voluntarily reading and reviewing this copy.

Above ‘N’ Beyond is the seventh book in the Federal K-9 series, and I’ve only read one other book in this series, but I didn’t feel like I couldn’t follow it or was missing any back story. So while I’m sure they are great read in order, I don’t feel like you can’t jump in with this one if you choose to do so! I enjoyed this action packed, romantic suspense novel quite a bit. I loved the integrity of both main characters and the way their love story unfolded. And it’s got cute, adorable, protective dogs. Who wouldn’t love those?

And the K9 – series continues, yay! After Honor ‘N’ Duty, I had read another of Tee’s stories, which was from a different series, the Special Ops. But now, more than a year later, Tee comes up with another Federal K9 story. This one is about Jamie, who has gone undercover for 6 months in a heavily guarded prison (without his dog, yikes).

And now Jamie is out and he has worked his way into the mob family he wants to bring down in order to help his sick father. The mob family concentrates around an Italian restaurant, where Bella is the co-owner. And although Jamie really wants to tear down the whole operation, he is conflicted about Bella’s role in the whole part. How can a sweet – yet feisty – woman be part of a nefarious maffia operation?

Bella just loathes the way her aunt uses her pride and joy: her Italian restaurant as a cover up for maffia business. But, being born into a maffia home means that you can’t easily walk away. And Bella would rather tear off her own limbs than let the restaurant go. But she tries to stay away from the mob gangsters as far as she can. Until the newest addition to the mob family shows up: Jamie is not the average bad guy. Oh sure, he will kill you with his bare hands, but he can be caring and gentle and he gets Bella totally twisted up. But Bella wants no association with the bad guys.

When danger is lurking, however, she may need the bad guy after all…

As usual: a lot of twist and turns. Danger everywhere and snarky remarks and banter between Bella and Jamie. Absolutely loved it! Four out of five stars and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.

A fast paced read, the story of Bella and Jamie. He is undercover and is supposed to keep his distance from her, but will life to according to plan? great read, I liked how it was told from both points of view.

I’m so sad that we’ve reached the end of the road with this series. But what a great book to end the series with, I think. I really loved the whole undercover maffia scene. There’s s very good build up present, maybe not as much suspense as in previous books, and I again love love love the romance between the MC’s! I do sometimes feel like the K9 is being humanised a bit too much, like how he can understand really everything that’s being said to him like full sentences. That’s even for a K9 dog not realistic. But overall, the dogs are a fun presence in the story and I really loved the added puppy as well haha!

It was a solid written book, a good closure on the series - even though I do feel sorry that this is the end - and an overall delightful reading experience for me. Really happy that I was able to read and review this book for the publisher and especially the author, whom I really admire! I can’t get enough of Tee’s books and can’t wait to see what more there’s to come from her in the (nearby) future.
