I didn't realize this was a serial so that was kind of weird but I still liked it. The publisher did specify it was a serial but I just didn't really get it or understand until I saw this book. So Lirium is a debt-collector that sucks your life energy if you're a loser and gives it instead to smarter and better people. He's super depressed but addicted to the high he gets from his commission on the life forces he takes.

It started out a little slow where you weren't sure if you really liked Lirium or not but But eventually you start to become a fan - really liked this serial!
