It’s a Fabulous Life was okay for me. I loved the drag queen angels. The story was exactly what I expected and it’s a quick and easy read.

Queer scrooge + drag queen fairy godmothers = a perfect Christmas love story. This was seriously adorable- a little bit of long lost love, a lot of small town charm, and one drag fairy godmother just trying to earn her wings. It’s cute, it’s fab, it’s a reminder of how great an impact one person can have on their little corner of the world.

This is such a fun audiobook! Both narrators did an amazing job. The chapters alternated with Bailey and the Angels. The Angels were a group of drag queens, and they were so entertaining. I loved their chapters! Bailey is struggling in her small town, and she wants to see what life would be like if she lived somewhere other than her small town. She gets her wish when her guardian angel, Clara Angel, lets her see what life would be like.

I really enjoyed the characters in this story. The narration really added so much to the story. This is a fun sapphic retelling of 'It's A Wonderful Life'.

Thanks to NetGalley and Dreamscape Media for an ALC of this book.

I adored this book! Kelly Farmer gave us such a beautiful queer It's a Wonderful Life retelling to get everyone hyped up for the holiday season. Lanford Falls, Bailey, and Maria have captured my heart and I can't wait to see what Kelly Farmer writes next

Adventure-seeking Bailey's New York City vacation plans are derailed when she's called on to substitute for an ill festival volunteer in her sleepy hometown of Lanford Falls. Though disappointed, Bailey reluctantly takes on her old role to avoid letting down the town. Then her high school crush Maria Hatcher appears, offering to assist with the Winter Wonderfest preparations. When festival day brings disaster after disaster, Bailey encounters the magical drag queen Clara Angel on the town's old bridge. After Bailey wishes she'd never been born in this Christmas-obsessed place, Clara gives Bailey a new perspective on attaining her dreams right at home with hope and holiday spirit.

This contemporary, sapphic retelling of "It's a Wonderful Life" is full of small-town holiday charm. Heartwarming with a leisurely pace, it's the kind of book you'll want to curl up with next to a fire with a mug of hot chocolate in your hands. I enjoyed the audiobook narration.

Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.

Aww, this was such a sweet sapphic "Its a Wonderful Life" remake set in a picturesque New York town with a trio of drag queen angels. This would make a stellar Netflix Christmas romance
