Nola Nash writes about events in history so well you feel like you are there and the Watcher is no exception! This is the second book in The Traveler Series. Once again Shelby travels back in time, this time to help find Alcibiades. Apollo is searching for him because he has some serious issues with things that he has done. With her friend Benny by her side and a mysterious journal they can't miss right?!! The only problem is Alcibiades seems to slip in and out of different points in time so easily they are having trouble finding him - he looks different each time and the only thing that seems to give him away is his way of talking. Come along for a wild ride through history to see what happens next!

This was another great entry in the Traveler series, it had a great overall concept that worked with the previous book. I enjoyed how good the characters were written and how they worked in this story. I enjoyed how Nola Nash has written this book and thought it was a strong overall concept. I hope there is more in this series.

Having read the first book in the series, Traveler, I have been eagerly awaiting this book by Nola Nash. And she does not disappoint. I found Watcher just as engaging as the first book. It's full of humor and heart, and Shelby and Benny are just as entertaining in this installment as the last time. I love Nash's attention to details--it makes for complete immersion into Athens in 404 B.C. If you're looking for a great story, this one is for you.
