I'm sorry I was not able to read and review this book before it was archived, due to serious health issues.

This story has some interesting themes such as rich vs poor, technology vs. religion, and the titled word: perception. I thought the two main characters were a good dichotomy and were even better when they were on the page together. The author did a good job with the pacing, keeping the twists and surprised coming. While this is a stand alone novel, I would read a sequel in the same world if written.
