I love supernatural books, so this sampler was right up my alley. I recommend these samplers to anyone who wants to try out new authors and genres. Thank you to Penguin Teen for providing me with a copy of this sampler in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.

Together We Rot by Skyla Arndt
Wil wants to find her missing mother but the local police are no help. She thinks her ex-best friend Elwood's family, a cult, has something to do with it, When he wants to escape from them, she agrees to help in exchange for information on her mother's disappearance. I'd read more of this one.

Bittersweet in the Hollow by Kate Pearsall
Linden and her sisters each have a unique ability: she can taste what someone is feeling. She's trying to solve a mystery surrounding the town forest and a mothman type legend.

Holly Horror by Michelle Jabes Corpora
Evie had hoped that moving would be the fresh start that she needed after her parents divorce. Unfortunately, her new house is haunted. I liked this one.

The Narrow by Kate Alice Marshall
This one was in a different sampler, but I would continue reading it. It's about a girl working as a live-in helper for another girl, but the house is haunted.

Strange Unearthly Things by Kelly Creagh
Jane is a psychic artist who gets invited to Fairfax Hall to help with the spirit activity on the property. I didn't like this one..

Really enjoyed this one! I should have read it so much sooner! But I don’t regret it. This maybe a new obsession! I love the characters, plot, etc.

This wicked reads collection is a great preview of what is to come going forward. I love these samples and previews.

Glad again for another sampler. I'm really looking forward to reading several of the recently/soon-to-be released thrillers and horror books. I think I'm most excited for Together We Rot, Bittersweet in the Hollow and The Narrows from this collection!

The samplers were good. I would not have requested had I paid better attention and realized these were samples.

So many good books to buy! Will definitely be purchasing several of the stories previewed and also with the season as gifts! Penguin Teen is one of my favorite publishing companies and have published many of my favorite stories! I am really looking forward to the winter and new year publishing season!!!!!

Great excerpts! I don't know how I'll decide to choose what to read next, but I appreciate the sneak peeks and have added almost every book yo my tbr list!

I really appreciated the ability to read samples of each of these stories. I've been on a horror kick for a bit so I was hoping to find my next read through this sampler. My favorite of the six was The Narrow, but unfortunately, I'm not sure that I'll be picking any of these books up any time soon.

Wicked Reads from Penguin Teen was wickedly delightful. I’m especially excited about Together We Rot, the initial premise really drew me in. Bittersweet in the Hollow sort of reminded me of House of Hollow, which I loved! Strange Unearthly Things sounds like a great Jane Eyre retelling. I’ll definitely check these out when they release.

The writing was amazing and the storytelling was incredible.

This is just a sampler of a bunch of spook, supernatural reads. There are 5 different stories surrounding the supernatural and they all sound REALLY good. I can't wait to pick these up to read.
