While I did like large portions of the book (several scenes had be laughing out loud), I did think that the book took way too long to show character development. The plot stalled and it just felt stuck in one place for too long. I felt that around the 40% mark, all the characters were still in the exact same place as they were in the very beginning. Soon after that, progression was made, but it went by too quickly. However, I will say that Lottie’s forgiveness did feel genuine in the end.

An interesting NA read that deals with some very heavy subjects. Perhaps the story didn't progress to my liking, I felt it was kind of slow, but overall it was thought provoking and the author has room to grow in her craft.

I wanted to love this book so bad, the cover was gorgeous and I have loved some of the author’s previous work but this book just wasn’t for me.

When I first got this, I was super excited about the book. But unfortunately, I'm no longer interested in reading it at this point and I don't want to hold onto it any longer.

Told from dual POVs, this book has it all. Heartbreaking moments. Humor. Second chances. Low on steam.

I read this during what I would call my "new adult phase" and I really enjoyed it. It was an emotional slow building romance, and as much as this book was romance, it was also a story about siblings and close friendships which I really appreciated.

I can’t believe this is my first read by this author. I’m super happy to see she’s got more books I can dive into as I loved this read.

Lettie Andrea and Lexie Davis lives changes in one night. Lottie feels as if she’s living another nightmare when she finds out Zack and Zan Parker are going to the same college as she is. She blames them for that devastating night that left her best friend Lexie with traumatic brain injury.

Zan tries to make amends with Lettie. Her hatred for them is strong but she starts seeing a different side to him.

A brilliant story that sucked me right in from start to finish. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.

Sorry I didn't get to this when it was requested but cleaning out books that are not downloaded on my kindle or I have no interest in a my taste in genres has changed.
