I absolutely adored the concept of this book! Lanie and Ridley gave me major butterflies and their personal growth, and growth together was something beautiful to witness. These characters are flawed and feel real. If you’re a fan of travel vibes in books, this one is for you!

Thank you to Netgalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for the arc!

Although "Frequent Flyers" started slowly, I ultimately found it to be an enjoyable read. The development of the relationship between Lainey and Ridley was well done, and I appreciated the exploration of Lainey's other relationships, especially with her mother. Her mother played a significant role in shaping Lainey's self-esteem and thoughts about Ridley. Lainey had to navigate through a lot of challenges, including dealing with the women of her family projecting their own self-doubts onto her. I cannot tell you how many times their conversations had me punching the air! But Noué Kirwan did a great job of touching on this subject. By the end of the book, I was rooting for Lainey and was happy to see her take a chance on love despite the doubts and noise around her. I loved the way it ended.

The book was entertaining enough for me. However, I was just so annoyed by Ridley's behaviour at the beginning of the book, I couldn't get over my irritation of him. I do appreciate the character development that both main characters go through as the story progresses.

Thank you to Harlequin Trade Publishing, Canary Street Press, and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I really enjoyed the character development of Lanie, Ridley, and all of the side characters involved in each of their lives. They are two very different people who’ve experienced (and continue to experience) two very different forms of upheaval in their personal lives, and this books has you navigating and growing through those complexities with them. As someone who has personally experienced both unrequited love and immense personal loss, I certainly found myself relating to both of them, understanding their flaws how they affect their relationships.

Noué Kirwan excels at character development, a plot that keeps driving forward at a great pace, and spicy romance. Add this one to your romance TBR pile for sure.

This book was such a quick read! I’m always a sucker for books either set in the uk or New York and this had elements of both! This book give off airport crush vibes and im here for it. Definitely going to be thinking about this book the next time I travel. Loved the personalities of these characters too!

This book was a bit of a slow burn which I thought worked really well — we got plenty of time to get to know the characters and their individual lives before the romance amps up. By the end I was rooting for them even more because they felt so real. Would definitely recommend for those that love heartfelt romances, travel settings, and clever prose!

I both loved and hated this book which brings me to my straight down the middle rating.

This book is a slow burn! You don’t get nearly as much cute travel time romcom time as I expected from the synopsis. I definitely would have preferred a bit more of them together and a lot less of just telling us way too much about their separate lives. Also the characters aren’t loveable at all times, Lanie especially really got on my nerves at times.

BUT when it was hitting the mark it was really hitting the mark. Really inspiring and well written aspects of both of them persevering and growing throughout the book.

Lanie & Ridley meet in a not so meet cute way after being sat next to each other on a plane. Due to family and work obligations both of them frequently travel from NYC to England. This novel is definitely a slow burn as Lanie & Ridley both have reservations about relationships. Frequent Fliers is told in alternating perspectives which allows for further insight into each of the main characters. I enjoyed the growth that both characters show in adapting to life's circumstances and difficult family dynamics. I would recommend this novel for readers who enjoy slow burn novels which strong character development.

The 2020 pandemic is receding, and Lanie has just learned that her cousin and best friend/first love are engaged. Grappling with her mixed feelings about this development, Lanie agrees to be "best mate" (best man and maid of honor) for the couple. She begins flying to England from New York frequently to help plan, and along the way begins to cross paths (accidentally and deliberately) with Ridley, who is a widower also traveling from England to New York to oversee a scientific clinical trial.

What I liked: Both characters are struggling with their own demons, working through insecurities, and figuring out what they want their life to look like. Both of them are fully realized, with flaws and endearing qualities. They also each come to realize that people in their life they've reduced to 2 dimensions are also more complicated than they first appear (especially in Ridley's case).

The romance gets steamy, and also is a slow burn without being agonizing. The story hooked me and I wanted to keep reading.

I knocked off one star because (two spoiler alerts) there is a fight between Lanie and her cousin near the end of the book, and their reconciliation is fairly glossed over. It would have been an opportunity for Lanie to dig a little deeper into her own problematic behaviors, but instead both women seem to say, "yeah, we said horrible, hurtful things, but let's just rebury those and move on." Exploring those dynamics a bit more would have added a richer emotional layer. There was also a moment when Ridley's daughter (spoiler alert) throws a fit over him dating and leaves the house for 3 days before he tracks her down. I found it hard to believe that a parent would not pursue a missing pre-teen for 3 days. So the star is knocked off for a handful of moments in the book where the emotional note didn't ring quite true, or the author brushed things aside in a hurry to get to the ending. Otherwise, fantastic read, nothing you can't get beyond, highly recommend.

This was a sweet story, especially if you generally enjoy Romance. Personally I didn't feel like there was much by the way of character-development or angst (not that everything has to include heavy themes), but it was lacking a bit of depth. Otherwise was quite fun, but wasn't amazingly unique. Thanks for letting me read!

Highly entertaining and meaningful, Noué Kirwan's FREQUENT FLIERS is exactly the kind of romance, built around real, relatable characters, that the literary world could use more of. A fun, engaging read.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an ARC.

Overall, I enjoyed the book. I liked the plot of the book and thought it included some great themes
I didn’t really like the main characters cousin Gemma or Jonah and I think it would have been nice to see the MC stand up for herself when her family would (unnecessarily) criticize her

I also feel like it would have been nice to get some more background into the history of Lanie and the other characters earlier in the book

I enjoyed the romance though and thought it was a fun read

Thank you for the ARC!

I cute romcom with some spice. Lanie was a bit 'full of herself' at times but I did enjoy the plot and character development. She flies to England for her annual vacation. Lanie is a frequent flier from NYC to London due to helping her cousin plan her wedding - to Lanie's crush Jonah. During her flights she meets Dr. Ridley Aronsen....will she move on from her crush? I didn't care for her cousin or Jonah....but loved her and Ridley together.....a fun read.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

A solid romance with very little angst and decent character development. Now, I didnt like this as much as Noue's earlier book but it was really good. I liked Lanie even though she got on my nerves.

Harlequin Trade Publishing, Canary Street Press and NetGalley provided an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed here are solely my own.

This book had me at “Ouch, we’re all going to the same place, buddy!” The main characters, Lanie and Ridley , are the newest additions to my book bae hall of fame. They are good, complex, and flawed people. Their complexities and flaws made the conflicts in the book believable, and their goodness kept me rooting for them the whole way through. All of the characters, both main and supporting, were well developed.

This was my first book from this author, but I am positive it won’t be my last.

3.5 stars. Noué Kirwan’s Frequent Fliers was a good read. In the beginning, I found myself on edge about Lanie, she appeared to see herself as “better” and “more deserving” of Jonah than her cousin Gemma. As the book progressed, some of that was lost and Lanie became infinitely more likable. As a romance book, I wish we had spent more time on developing the romance between Lanie and Ridley, rather than them being side characters in each other’s separate stories. I did enjoy this book, and finished it in one sitting. Overall, would recommend.

I liked Noué Kirwan's debut, LONG PAST SUMMER, so i was really excited to see she had a new one coming out! I appreciated the pacing of this novel a lot, as well as small details (family couldn't fly bc the kids had ear infections--TOO REAL). I think this could have easily been done as a second chance romance and i would have hated it--i love how directly opposite from that it was. The characters were great and i just enjoyed this overall.

Frequent Flyers was a romantic romance novel. Lanie lived in New York and was traveling from New York to the UK to plan her cousin Gem's wedding to Josh. Ridley was a doctor who was flying from New York to the UK. He was in New York to work on a project, but he lived in the UK. They met on the plane. They traveled back and forth together several times. And so their relationship began.

Josh was Lanie's ex, for whom she still had feelings. But Josh no longer had feelings for her; he was besotted by Gem. Lanie decided She would put her feelings for Josh aside and give them the wedding they deserved.

Ridley had a 15-year-old daughter, Beatrix. He was a widower. When Bea met Lanie Bea thought she was really cool, but she thought that she and her father were just friends. When she realized they were more than that, she didn't take it very well at first. Bea had spent the night with a friend, and when she came home she found Lanie and her dad in a compromising situation. She was startled and fled the scene. Ridley didn't know what to do so he called an Uber for Lanie, and she felt as though he were putting her out like trash.

Their relationship, though a tad bit rocky, had developed nicely until the incident. So it was up to Ridley to make it right.

I thought the author didn't excellent job traversing through this tumultuous relationship. The characters were well developed and the storyline was easy to follow. I thoroughly enjoyed this adorable romance. I gave it five stars.

I thought this was a decent romance. Both characters were really fleshed out but I wasn't initially sold on their chemistry.
