Just perfect. Put me right in the mood for Christmas. Lexie Bryne is one of my favourite characters and this series and all the cast are so funny. I can picture the shopping centre where Lexie works. I really hope there is a 4th lexie adventure. Excellent

Started slow and I struggled a little bit but maybe that’s my fault for not realising it was the 3rd book in a series.
Ended really nicely and was a nice read.

Loved the premise; the book itself, not so much. I had a lot of difficulty becoming interested in the story and the characters and was even more difficult to remain interested. Pass.

Oh, what a delight – this book made me laugh and cry, I loved it! Lexie and Annemarie with all their shenanigans and shared misery. Thankfully, they listened instead of giving each other advice. Sometimes all you want from a friend is support such as a pat on the back, a shoulder to cry on, a bump on the arm, simply knowing you are not alone.

And I'm glad they both were able to make up their own versions of 'normal' – whatever that may be. Not conforming, but redefining body imagery, and their marriage or relationship. With the risk of making this sound all too serious: no one needs sexism or toxic family members. Instead: be kind and pay it forward!

So yeah, this book very much deserves a place on my for-a-rainy-day shelf on Goodreads. Too bad we have to wait another year for the next in this series, assuming it will be another Christmas story.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for a copy of the book.
