A great collection of smoothie recipes for all occasions. All high protein and lower carb perfect for those working on getting healthy.

Written by a dietician, Protein Power Smoothies is an excellent resource and recipe guide for anyone looking for new smoothie flavor combinations that will help curb sugar cravings, satiate appetites, and add protein to diets looking to build muscle. I will be going to this book time and time again in the months ahead. Highly recommend!

I've been trying to add protein to my smoothies, but fell into a rut.
With "Protein Power Smoothies" by Heather DiBlasi, no more boring smoothies for me.

The smoothies in the book are high protein and low carb and most of all, delicious. My two favorite so far are "Carrot Cake" and "Coconut Blueberry Lemon Tart."

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to up their smoothie game, with delicious, nutrient dense combos, this book is for you.

I am always looking for new ways to make smoothies and add protein to my diet. I loved all of the different options and recipes. Now I have a whole arsenal of inventive recipes to work through. Looking forward to trying out the Rainbow Cookie and Key Lime Pie!

The title is Protein Power, but I think the title is missing a "d" as the entire book is making smoothies with protein powder. It was not what I was expecting and I was hoping for tips on boosting proteins without an additive.

Such a great concept for a smoothie book! The dietician author’s formula combines protein powder and other protein-rich sources with fiber ingredients, low-sugar flavors, and natural sweeteners where needed. An introductory chapter explains the science of avoiding high blood sugar caused by many smoothies dependent on ingredients such as high-sugar fruits. Other benefits of the “formula” are muscle tissue support, weight control, and healthy metabolism.

Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for letting me review this book. This was a quick and fun read. The recipes are easy and not many ingredients. There were plenty of smoothie flavors to pick from and can’t wait to try them!

I absolutely loved this smoothie book and cannot wait to make all of them. I'll probably try to expand upon them flavor-wise as well. I would love something else protein related, like this one.

I've been looking to diversify my after workout smoothies for a while now and I thought this would be the perfect book to help me do that! I wasn't disappointed! This has a range of delicious sounding recipes, some have some questionable ingredients but I'm willing to experiment. All of these recipes are easy and quick to make, can't wait to whip out the blender and give them a try!

Loving some of these recipes. I started making protein smoothies after my workouts and I have been making the same drink every time. I am looking forward to changing them up with then recipes I found in this.

This is a great guide to protein-rich smoothies with more nutrients and to keep you full for longer. It provides a breakdown of classic smoothie, seasonal, and dessert-based recipes. It also has some recipes for protein-filled drinks.

This is an interesting smoothie book.

First my positives

*This isn’t just a recipe book. The author gives you a formula on how to build your own smoothie.
* Not a ton of Ingredients in most smoothies.

The not for me part:
* I’m not adding cauliflower rice to my smoothie. Or a zucchini.

I needed to start making smoothies for my husband while he's on chemo so I wanted to read this to learn. Everyone said just throw stuff in and blend, it's easy. Well, I'm glad I got this book to learn all are not created equal. What an eye-opener. Yes, I was tempted to just read the recipes and go on my way but along the front, Heather wrote “as much as you want to don’t do that”. I'm so glad I didn't. There are really important things to know about how to use the proper ingredients for what ones are best for you. You actually can be doing the opposite of what you want to achieve by just putting in what you want and blending. This is a comprehensive smoothie cookbook that won't take long to read but the lasting effects of doing it right will give you the results you want! Read and enjoy the recipes afterward. You won't regret it and will be happy with the benefits. Thank you NetGalley and publishers for this eARC this is my personal opinion I hope you get this and read it for the great benefits for what you want to achieve, just a a morning pick me up? Weight loss? Or personal workout prep, or, fast breakfast, you will benefit by this book!

This Protein Power Smoothies cookbook is much better than I expected -- the helpful explanation on benefits of smoothies and components of healthy smoothies. It is well explained and written clearly for anyone to understand the science of 'what makes good smoothies and what does not'.

Most of recipes are pretty simple and straightforward and ingredients are easy to find if you don't already have them in the pantry. Not all recipes come with a picture, but how hard could it be to mess up simply smoothie recipes? The recipes are sorted into seasons or types of smoothies (bowls, parfaits, and etc.), so it's easy to fit into your needs. If you've been in a same old smoothie rut, this book will take you to the next level.

I can't recommend this book enough to anyone who is trying to control their diet and lead a healthy eating habit!
