A witty, charming Regency romance full of humor, heart, and sparkling banter. Light, delightful, and pure escapism.

“It’s still us.”
The Regency Vows series was my first foray into historical romance, and it couldn’t have had a more perfect conclusion. It’s been impossible not to root for Sophie + West from day one, and this book was a perfect love letter to this series and characters while also giving us the love story that these two idiots deserve. Your honor, I love them.

This is the final book in the Regency Vows series, and possibly one of my favorites! But then again, I’m a sucker for second chances.
West never stopped loving Sophie, but thought she no longer felt the same for him. He agrees to help her to spite his father, but I think he also just wanted the opportunity to spend more time with her, even if they bickered most of the time.
Sophie had her reasons for leaving West, and for staying away. She reached out to him for help for her sister’s sake, but feels like there is absolutely no way that they could ever be together.
The story is filled with plots from friends and family alike, all with the mission to get West and Sophie back together for good. Only one person doesn’t want West and Sophie to find happiness together and continues to scheme to keep them apart.
The ending was fun, and shows that not everyone’s Happy Ever After looks the exactly the same.
Disclaimer: I received an eARC for review consideration though NetGalley, on behalf of the publisher. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I was so glad to finally get to Sophie and Weston’s story!! Thoroughly enjoyed the fake engagement idea, but I don’t love miscommunication as a plot device, so I could have lived with less of that. But all in all a good conclusion to the series.

A nice little wrap up for the series. I really like Weston and Sophie’s romance. I think it could have been shorten a little bit because despite the MC’s communication…it seems like it takes a while to drag out the root of the problem. I don’t know if I just wasn’t in a regency mood, or that it was a bit slow in places. I wish Sophie actually came clean tp her sister’s about what she sacrificed for them, especially Maria.
I LOVED the dynamic of Wes and Soph in the spicy scenes, I love how she takes charge and I also love the two of them are content with not having children.
Overall, good wrap up.

LOVEEEEED West and Sophies book! It was perfect in every way. Martha Waters killed this series, I recommend it all the time especially if they're looking for something similar to Bridgerton. This book was a great ending to the series and now I need to reread it hahah.

I enjoy mixing in a historical romance between my contemporary ones so I was excited to get to this one after reading one other previous story from the series. Unfortunately I felt like I was missing something by not reading all the other books in the series first - which doesn't usually happen in romance for me.
I didn't love the stubbornness of sisters but maybe I could have looked past it had I been more invested in the stories. Truly a case of it's not the book it's me I think! I'd still read other books from her or even potentially go back through the series to see what I missed.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an eARC in exchange for an honest review.

Thanks to Atria for the eARC; all opinions are my own.
The fifth and final instalment of the Regency Vows series by Martha Waters does not disappoint!
This was a pairing four books in the making; we all knew that West and Sophie were going to be together, but how that was going to happen, well, this book gave us the goods!
I really enjoyed the flashbacks, as this is a second chance romance so I was able to see what their relationship had been like when they were younger, and also understand why they split up. And understand their motivations for coming back together.
This book has humour, some spice, angst, swooning, fake engagement and so much more. We get to catch up with the couples from the previous books, we get a satisfying ending.
Absolutely delightful.

I have yet to pick up a Martha Waters book I haven’t enjoyed. This was no exception. I loved West and Sophie together and more importantly loved the strength of Sophie and her relationship with her sister. She’s a heroine with a lot of substance and standing on her own two feet and doesn’t really need the hero, but did it because of their feelings. I’m sad this series is over. It’s truly been a fun ride!

I was not a fan of previous books in the series, but for sure this one wins the first spot.
Sophie, while having her reasons to marry another man, was cruel in choosing a friend of her almost fiancé, and even crueler, after becoming a widow to take another of his friends as a lover.
Her plan to help her sister with a fake engagement with this poor man was literally the final blow for me. Like she was rubbing in his face that they could fake but not be together (and bare in mind, she believes herself in love with him, it’s not an unrequited love situation)
The villain of the story (who was also the villain of the first book) gets basically no consequences for ruining both his son’s lives for years and years. He may not successfully separate Sophie and West, but still, that’s such a non-issue.
I read this book so fast because I was so angry at everything happening, there was no real emotional moment between the two, the reconciliation felt so swallow. I really felt nothing, when usually it’s so easy for me to just get into the story
2 stars because the siblings moment where cute at times

I’ve read the previous books in the series, so I was very excited about the opportunity to read this final installment. Everyone else in the group has paired up so it was finally West and Sophie’s turn.
Actually, it’s their second chance at love because they formed an attachment years ago but were forced apart by West’s mean father. Sophie is widowed and not looking for love, but she puts together a fake engagement scheme to help her sister’s prospects and enlists West’s help
Overall, the book is a bit of a letdown because of the build-up over the first four books in the series. The two protagonists spend too much time maintaining the farce of the fake relationship and not realizing that maybe, just maybe, they should take a chance on something real. The big denouement was satisfying, albeit a bit predictable.
I would recommend To Woo and to Wed. Although it’s missing some of the spark that made the first book in the series stand out in the world of historical romance, it’s still a fun little book. After so many “will they won’t they” moments over the course of the series, it was satisfying to see West and Sophie get their happily ever after.
I received a digital ARC of this book from Atria Books/NetGalley

I am so sad this series is over. I love these books beyond words. They’re so silly yet full of heart, lovely, fun, tender, I could go on. Love.

I am a huge fan of Martha Waters and this series. After binging Bridgerton, I was looking for historical romances that gave the same feel (as I know many people were), and this series did not disappoint!

Oh absolutely sensational. I enjoyed this SO SO SO much. This entire series is brilliant and I'm so glad that this book was the conclusion. All fans of histrom should give this series a try. It's got something for everybody.

A rom-com regency is just what I needed! Great book with lots to love about their dynamic and the antics they get up to.

West and Sophie were once almost engaged until his father got in the way. Now Sophie is widowed and has no interest in romance. When Sophie's sister is holding back from romance of her own, Sophie believes she won't settle down until Sophie does too. Sophie devises a fake romance with West so her sister can feel free to move on. But what if those feelings from long ago never really went away?
This is the last book in the series and I am honestly sad it is ending. I love a good fake romance plot and this one is no exception!

I received from #NetGalley a copy of #ToWooandtoWed by #MarthaWaters. This is part of a Regency series and takes place in 1818 in England. Sophie and West were in love in the past but Weston is the heir to a dukedom. His father believes Sophie's family is beneath him and threatens her sisters' futures. West meanwhile has an accident that kills his friend and severely injures him. Sophie marries someone else to save her sisters and becomes a widow. 7 years later, her sister,Alexandra, who is also a widow is in love. Sophie thinks she will not marry unless Sophie marries so she goes to West and proposes a fake betrothal. This book is about that betrothal and Sophie's relationships with her friends and sisters.

I appreciate the opportunity to read this title and thank the publisher for providing me with an eARC, however as so much time has passed since this works publication date and my lack of urgency with this piece, I am unfortunately going to move on. I hope to one day read this work at a later time and if I do, I will adjust my review. Thank you again for the opportunity.

GOSH I enjoyed the rest of the series.. and that's true of this one, too! While I could have asked for more tension, banter, and humor, it was evident the entire storyline and I really enjoyed the series finale! The present/past timeline helped add to this storyline, as we watch West and Sophie evolve in their relationship overtime, both changing for the better. Fake engagement, historical romance-esque speaking, and forced proximity were the main tropes and I thought they all worked together REALLY well. Way to go, Martha Waters! Can't wait to pick up your other stories. Thanks for the opportunity to read!

To Woo and To Wed is the final installment in the Regency Vows. This was the perfect finish to this fun Regency romance series. Sophie and West's interactions were witty and entertaining.
