Sadly I just couldn’t connect with this story and I found myself skimming a lot so I finally gave up.

This is definitely a case of, “it’s not you, it’s me.”

Good writing with a unique and interesting plotline.

When Angela high school crush comes back to town, and shows interest in her, she doesn’t want to miss the chance to fulfil at least one of her fantasies, to sleep with him.
But Angie is in for a big surprise when she learns that her one night stand is in town for longer than a night, and is in fact her interim boss.
Skin in the game is fast paced fun read. I loved the banter between Cade and Angie. A great read with fantastic characters, and a great storyline that had me completely hooked.
This is my first book by Jackie Barbosa, and I look forward to reading more from her, especially in this series.

Angie has no problem warning Cade about her dad, "with a grin, she stood up. “I promise. But don’t be surprised if the next time you see him, he’s calling you ‘Son’ and asking when you’re going to make an honest woman out of me.” Cade has certain preferences, “we’ll stop by your place tomorrow and pick up something else for you to wear. In the meantime,” he said, cupping her cheek in his palm, “I’d really prefer it if you weren’t wearing anything.” I liked this book, I loved Cade.
