After loving HOW TO SURVIVE YOUR MURDER, I tore into this one, and was not disappointed! Camp Lost Lake is every bit as ominous as it sounds. The prologue instantly grabbed my attention, and this book managed to be both plot and character driven with ease. The story centers around a cold case at Camp Lost Lake seventeen years prior, with two teen girls needing answers for different reasons. One was born during the murders, and the other...well, her mother was blamed for the murders, and they have been in hiding ever since. When the paths of these two girls cross, things get complicated in a hurry.
When the truth is revealed about really happened the night of the murders, I was in awe at how perfectly everything came together, and the ending was nothing short of genius. Thank you so much to NetGalley and Penguin Teen for the early read. This title will publish June 4, 2024.

I absolutely loved this!if you're a fan of mystery and suspense do yourself a favor and pick this up in your travels you won't be disappointed

Thrilling, fast-paced, and gritty!
I really enjoyed this as my first read by this author. Iโve got her first book and that is now bumped to the top of my list after reading this.
I enjoyed how we were dropped right into the action with this one in a flashback - something that continued on through the book. I donโt always love that but it worked for this book!
I also liked the twists and turns and how, right when I thought things might be drawn out, something happened that yanked me back into the action right away.
The romance was a nice touch and I enjoyed the wrap up. And that ending. Whew. I wonโt say anything but way to leave it ha!
I recommend this to fans of fast-paced thrillers with twists and turns and who love that creepy camp feel (without the actual camp).
Note: Some language and depicted violence. Not over the top, but definitely there.
My rating: 4.4*

Thanks to the publisher for this advanced reading copy. All opinions are my own.

This was a really fun YA thriller, that was very fast paced and perfect to pick up on the go. It was a quick and easy read, with good characters and plenty of twists and turns!

Thank you to Penguin Teen for my arc!
I always love a good cold case story, where the details get mixed and distorted until you find out the truth many years later and this was no different. Super fast paced and a chilling ending, I couldnโt put this down!
