This book concludes with Laia Saint Roman's determined effort to break off her engagement with King Aristides de Valle y Montero of Santanger. Unwilling to go through with the arranged marriage, Laia takes drastic measures by fleeing to her private Malaysian island and "kidnapping" Crown Prince Dax, Aristides' brother. Over the course of ten days, Laia and Dax find themselves drawn to each other despite their initial intentions. Laia's strength and Dax's intriguing character make for a captivating read, with a credible plot filled with sassy and profound moments. While the ending may have some flaws, the book offers a fantastic closing to the series, complete with a lovely epilogue.

The story was good but typical of Harlequin - but I like that. It is a perfect short read for train or bus. Basic premise is the trusting to love again. Both h&h have issues to overcome then add the extra pressure of being royal. The supporting characters were enjoyable and I would recommend this book. I have read this author before and enjoy her books.

**I received this book from NetGalley and publisher for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Nothing remarkable. I breezed through this book in almost no time. Nice and quick read. Not boring but nothing to keep in the memory bank for re-reading.

The h imprisons the H, who is the brother of the king she is supposed to marry. She doesn’t want to marry the king, and her half sister takes her place. The h and the H are attracted to each other and things start to develop between them.

Laia Saint Roman, future queen of Isla'Rosa, is engaged with King Aristides de Valle y Montero of Santanger since they were kids. Laia doesn’t want it, so she would do anything to broke the engagement. Even fleeing from it! What she didn’t count on is that her fiancée would send his brother, Crown Prince Dax, to find her. And he did. Now her only choice is to “kidnap” Dax in her private Malaysian island and keep them there for ten days to get rid of her arranged marriage. But she didn’t expected the intense attraction both Laia and Dax feel for each other…

I have to say it: I loved Laia and her strength, but I’m fascinated with Dax. He’s a jewel of a character and all the layers he has behind his devil-may-care attitude are very intriguing. I really wanted Dax could have his happily ever after while reading this book. He deserved it!!

The last installment of the Princess Brides for Royal Brothers duet is a book full of personality and good scenes. Definitely a fantastic closing for the miniseries. A bit off towards the ending and kinda flawed, yes, but it has a lovely epilogue. Also, the plot is credible with sassy and profound moments. Ms. Green is a good author, with great writing skills and this book is a perfect example of it.

He’s a playboy prince, she’s a virgin princess arranged to marry his brother. The kicker is that she doesn’t want to. Loved this strong Queen-to-be.

Thanks Net Galley and Harlequin for the temporary ARC to review.
