Thank you to NetGalley for allowing me to read and advanced copy of this book!
This is my favorite Jeneva Rose book so far! The story was interesting and while I was right in one of my predictions, I wasn’t upset with being right. It’s also cool how some of the story was inspired by her hometown and experiences. Definitely worth a read, especially if you enjoy her work!

Home Is Where the Bodies Are by Jeneva Rose was such an incredibly fun read for me from the very first page and I have recommended this book to my thriller lover friends. Rose never disappoints.

Hmm . Not my favourite Janeva book ! Just felt like a very typical dysfunctional family murder mystery. Didn’t really have any shocking or emotional moments that made me gasp. The ending was quite meh too.
I loved the acknowledgements section in this book so much, had me laughing away . Janeva Rose , you better stick to your word and tell us your deepest darkest secret in your next books acknowledgements section like you said you would … which is the next book I’m reading .. The Perfect Divorce .. I’ll be looking for it ! Haha 👀

Mysteries and tragedies close to home tend to dig a little deeper. Family secrets and estranged siblings are a combination in horror that goes hand in hand, and this book is no exception to that. Fun and fast paced read!

I went into this book thinking it was going to hear more towards thriller and horror, but what I got was a really intriguing character study of a broken family. There definitely was a thriller/darker element to the story, but I think personally I felt let down in that aspect because of how severe most of the thrillers I like are. So I don't discount the book due to my personal taste.
I think most casual readers looking for a bit of a thriller would really enjoy this one!

I'm sorry to say I did not care for this book. I found it dull, boring and a bit YA. I guess it was not my "cup of tea", and I hear there are many people that appreciated the story. This book will not keep me from reading more of this writer's stories.

It took me a little bit to get into this one, but I ended up really enjoying it. I love this author and she's a drop everything author for me. This one didn't disappoint. I thought I had everything figured out, but I did not. She still threw some curveballs my way and I liked how she tied this one up at the end. If you like her books, I think you will love this one! Thanks to publisher for my copy!

With its small-town setting and its family drama, Home Is Where The Bodies Are stole my heart. You will enjoy this title if you like fast-paced thrillers with jaw-dropping conclusions. Rose’s writing is very reminiscent of Sally Hepsworth’s and I look forward to reading more of her work in the future.

Another 5 star read by Jeneva Rose! This book was spooky, suspenseful and unputdownable! Loved every second of it.

I might be bias with my review since I love Jeneva Rose way of writing. Her stories are captivating and when you think you have figured it out she proves you wrong. This book is twisted and definitely has ruined home videos for me. Lol as always the queen has delivered a dramatic mystery!

Siblings settling their mother's estate see a dead body hidden in their childhood backyard while watching old home movies.
While this read was slow to pick up, it ultimately had a really satisfying ending. This title featured a memorable sibling story, a twisty twist, and was (I think) the first of the VHS cover craze. A longtime fan of Jeneva Rose's social media presence, her writing holds up as well!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! No spoilers. Beyond amazing I enjoyed this book so very much. The characters and storyline were fantastic. The ending I did not see coming Could not put down nor did I want to. Truly Amazing and appreciated the whole story. This is going to be a must read for many many readers. Maybe even a book club pick.

T.R. Knox's Some Is Where the Bodies Are is a chilling psychological mystery that explores buried secrets in a small town. The story follows Lily, a retired journalist, as she returns to her hometown to investigate long-forgotten deaths. Her search for truth is intertwined with themes of memory, guilt, and the deceptive nature of the past.
Knox crafts a tense, atmospheric setting, making the town itself feel like a character. With well-developed characters and a slow-building suspense, the novel culminates in a shocking conclusion. Though the pacing is deliberate, the payoff is worth it for fans of psychological thrillers. Thank you for the opportunity to read this book.

Pleasantly surprised because I did not guess the murderer correctly! Small town, family tension vibes.

This was a very easy and quick to read book. However, I found the characters to be under-developed and the plot to be predictable. Overall, a fun afternoon read if you're not looking for something too deep or intricate.

Thank you to Netgalley and the Publishing Company for this Advanced Readers Copy of Home Is Where The Bodies Are!

While the plot was intriguing, I DNF'd around 30% into the audiobook. I felt that too much information was revealed early on, and it kept me from wanting to come back and find out more. The writing was fine, but a little more cliché-heavy than I expected from Jeneva Rose.

Although I had it figured out pretty early on, I couldn't wait to keep reading! This was a quick read for fans of the thriller/suspense genre.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an eARC.

Yeah, I couldn't put this one down. More so because I needed to know how it will end more so to see if I was right with my thoughts. QUick read,

Received a digital ARC of this book via NetGalley.
This was my fourth book by this author. As someone who reads a lot of mystery/suspense, I never guess her twists. I like that her work is not gory, raunchy, or full of excess fluff. This was a fast paced novel that takes you through the hidden secrets of a family that become exposed to once they dig out the home videos.
