This novel tackles a very hard issue: child abuse and child pornography
The novel starts out very entertaining, but as the two vulnerable and love seeking boys grow older their dark secrets loom. Until a certain time there lives are quite similar, never talking about their shared destiny. But the influences in their lives are leading them in different directions.
The first half of the novel kept me reading with great interest, but then came some lengthy passages describing their way to their respective success that made my interest drop to some degree. The end though was worth keeping on.
