This was such an exciting and loving epilogue book! I wish we could always to in this world. Really enjoyed getting to spend more time with the Core six. This gave the perfect ending to an incredible series. I will be reading more from the authors going forward!

Some Kind of Perfect was the perfect epilogue to the entire Addicted/Calloway Sisters series. It gave the reader a look at every couple from the entire series and what their lives were like the ten years after Long Way Down ends. (The authors filled in some gaps from the glimpse Ryke gave us at the end of that book.) It was fun to see the evolution and maturation of all of my favorite characters.

My favorite thing about Some Kind of Perfect was that it was a happier, less angsty book than the rest of the series. This story felt like a happily ever after, and I loved that. Don’t get me wrong, there were still many different and sometimes tough situations for the characters to go through. They just didn’t put me on edge as much. Some Kind of Perfect was an amazing finish to this wonderful series.

As for the additional bonus content in this book... There is a playlist. I don't really have any comments on that because I didn't know most of the songs. There were also a few fun bonus scenes in the future. One was Moffy's first day of high school from Lily's POV. I could relate to how tense it made Lily and her thoughts on it. It was a sweet chapter. The next bonus scene was about the Cobalts and curfews. I loved this look at Connor and Rose parenting. The final bonus chapter is the Meadows family at the lake house, and it was eventful. Ryke was still standing up for his wife and family. It was fitting to have a bonus scene for each family to end the series.

If you’re a new adult romance fan, this series is not one to miss. The writing, characters, and plots are all amazing. It’s definitely worth the time it takes to read the entire ten books. I highly suggest binge reading it. 😉 I loved it and I think you will, too!

i’ve said it multiple times and i will continue to say it, this series is everything to me. i love these couples with my whole heart and soul. i was hesitate to even read this book because in my head i thought “if i read the last book it is over forever” and while that may technically be true and ill never get to experience the “first time reading” feelings this series brought i KNOW this book will be a go-to comfort read. getting a book that is like an extended epilogue and getting to just hangout with all of my fav couples all together was one of the best reading experiences. getting to just bask in all of their growth and witness some of my fav moments between this core group was so dang special. can’t recommend this series enough. see you soon, lily & lo, rose & connor, and daisy & ryke!!!

What a fun and heartwarming epilogue novel!

While I don't think this was a necessary addition to the series, I did really enjoy getting to spend more time with the Core Six. If you don't want to read an epilogue novel, you would be find with the closure and answers you receive from the Long Way Down epilogue (which would have been satisfactory to me, even as someone who has really enjoyed this series).

Thank you for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review!

This epilogue book was everything! ❤️ I absolutely loved diving back into this world and reading about the Core Six. This family and how close they are just make me so happy and it’s beautiful to see how far these characters have come from the beginning.🥹🥹

✨And then we end—we end where we started. Just us. All six of us.✨

I laughed and cried while reading this book and I’ll definitely be reading the next gen series. Krista and Becca Ritchie know how to write beautiful stories where characters are flawed and deal with real life struggles.

Also loved the added bonus scenes at the end! I’ll never get tired of reading about these characters. 🥰

✨“Run with me, Calloway?”

“You think you can keep up with me?”

“To the ends of the earth, sweetheart.”✨

One thing about me is that the Addicted/Calloway Universe is my favorite of all time. The Core Six have a portion of my heart to themselves. This book perfectly wraps up their story and leaves everything on such a positive note, which is what they deserve.

This book is absolutely incredible!! It’s the prefect way to wrap up the world’s best series. It took me six weeks to read because I didn’t want to say goodbye to these characters. I need all series to have entire epilogue books

Some Kind of Perfect is hands down the best way to wrap up a series. I absolutely loved seeing all of my favorite characters in one book for one last time. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely did cry while reading this. many times. but it’s SO worth it!

A million stars . I read this back in May of 2022 and it was so hard saying good bye to the core 6. getting to reread some of my favorite scenes and the bonus scenes had me smiling so hard. I truly love this universe and the core six <3.

A beautiful conclusion to a story that spans generations. I will be recommending this series to anyone and everyone.

These characters have taught me so much about love, friendship, family, and coming into your own.

And then we end - we end where we started.
Just us.
All six of us.

It feels like such a feat to reach the end of this book. Ten books, close to 5000 pages (not including bonus scenes), and seventeen years of these characters’ lives and they start feeling less fictional and so much more like actual people. Krista and Becca seriously do an incredible job in world building - I’m devastated that they don’t actually exist in my world.

And the character development over these ten books. Yes, the first books all have some kind of overarching plot, but it’s not really what drives the books forward, and Some Kind of Perfect is even more about the everyday moments for the Core 6 as they navigate growing their families and growing older. It’s full of vignettes that give the reader the perfect glimpse into their lives after the happily ever after of their couple centric books. Of course, there are some amazing moments between all the couples - Rose and Connor remembering a study date as Rose gives birth to their last child, Lily and Loren paddling in a canoe at the lake house, and Ryke baking Daisy a cake after a particularly rough day. Truly, even thinking about these moments as I type them, I’m getting all choked up because I love love, and it’s just so apparent that all of these characters have found their soulmates. After all the trials and tribulations they went through in the previous books, there’s something very satisfying about continuing to see their love prevail over the span of decades.

Beyond just the couples, the Hales, Meadows, and Cobalts are growing their families, and some of my absolute favorite moments are in all the non-romantic relationships. There are incredible sister bond moments - looking at you two, Daisy and Rose, and brotherly bonding between Ryke, Loren, and Connor. All of their relationships have evolved so much, and the characters they are by the end of the book is due entirely to this incredible support system they’ve made. And the Core 6 as parents just does a number on my heart. Ryke dressing up for Sulli, Rose and Connor comforting their youngest son during dinner, Loren uplifting his daughter after a sleepover - oh look here come the tears again. I adore all of these small moments, and I wish we could be in these characters’ heads endlessly to witness them all.

BUT I think what I love most about this book is the way it’s the perfect bridge into the Like Us series. I’ve read that series enough times (and listened to countless podcasts talking about them in depth) to understand those characters even more than the first time I ever read Some Kind of Perfect. It’s a bittersweet goodbye to characters that I’ve spent ten books rooting for, and at the same time it’s the best introduction to characters that I’m going to spend ten more books (and countless bonus scenes) enjoying and rooting for. If you love seeing character development, I mean what could be better than literally seeing them from infancy to child to teen to adult? Talk about serious growth and development. The bonds that you already see growing as these siblings and cousins learn to grow up in the media spotlight. Those are some incredible bonds too. The “weirdo” troublemakers (I know I’ve already referenced this scene, but it’s the one that makes me the most emotional), Charlie getting a Mickey hat for Xander, Maximoff and Sulli falling in love with swimming at the same time. It’s the start of some incredible relationships that are further explored in the Like Us series, but it’s so cool to see the buds growing in this book.

And despite being sad to say goodbye to Connor, Rose, Lily, Loren, Ryke, and Daisy, I know it’s not goodbye forever, and I’m glad to have had ten books to watch them grow and love. Some Kind of Perfect is the best blend of goodbyes and hellos, and will always be one of the best books from all the series!

I will forever be a fan of the Core 6. Watching them grow from Addicted to You to now, I feel like I’ve grown with them! This series set the bar for the found family trope!

4.5 ⭐️

What a BITTERSWEET ending 😞 This series has the strongest found family vibes, and SKOP was honestly exactly what I would hope for in an ending book for such a significant series. The switching between POVs was perfectly done, everything was important and useful, and I really wouldn't have changed much. Seeing them all as parents and the bonds between them still so strong was so beautiful. The growth that they have gone through over these 10 books!! Seeing them all navigate parenthood makes me super excited for the Like Us series as well. Krista and Becca made this epilogue novella into way more than just silly little bonus scenes. It's a must read if you are this far into the series, and despite it's length, you won't want it to end!

What a perfect conclusion to one of my favorite series ever. This was so well written and so tender, with every character getting a perfect conclusion, and I’ll be thinking about it for a very, very long time. I absolutely adore the found family trope and the romances between the characters, along with the character development we see over the span of these books. I love the traditionally published version and the new cover is to die for!

I didn’t expect this to be so deep and heart wrenching but man, this gave me all of the feels. The Ritchie’s write everything amazingly and just raw emotions.

So sad this series is over. It became one of my top series ever and this was a perfect conclusion.

Truthfully it's hard to remember everything that happned (it was so long) and in the typical Ritchie fashion, it's nothing always that crazy notable. But I loved seeing the progress of all the characters, the lives. it's so hard to say goodbye to the people I crazily enough feel like are some of my family members. Since the very first book I was captivated by everyones stories and the way everyone's story unfolded together. Reading this felt like coming home.

Easy to read although I didn’t like the voice as much as I did in some of their other works. I stopped after chapter 1 (2%) but easy four stars for fans and three to four for the target audience.

Thank you to NetGalley and Berkley for the ARC.

This is the 10th and final book in the Addicted Series by Krista and Becca Ritchie. We get all six points of view and I feel like this epilogue novel closed up the series very well. This has become one of my favorite series and I still can't believe this is the last book in the series. There is so much I want to say that can't be put into words.

I’m depressed that this series is over. This series was actually incredible. The Hale, Meadows, and Cobalt families all have my heart. If it’s worth the hype it 100% a must read series.

This is just the most perfect book! I love the idea of a full epilogue book. We get more of our favourite characters and while there is still some conflict and angst, we know that everything is going to work out just fine. I love these little looks into their lives years after their original stories are over.
