Kimberly Belle is an auto buy author for me. This was a bingeable read that had me hooked from the very beginning. I loved the pacing in the book and each chapter left me wanting more. I couldn't read this one fast enough but also wanted to savor it. One of the easiest 5 star ratings I have given.

This one was a mixed bag for me.
I loved the setup—Paris, a mysterious explosion, a missing husband—it had all the ingredients of a twisty, fast-paced thriller. And in a lot of ways, it delivered. The pacing kept me turning pages, and the setting added a nice layer of tension and glamour.
But emotionally, I didn’t feel as connected to the characters as I wanted to. Some of the reveals felt a little too convenient, and I was hoping for more depth in the aftermath of everything that unfolded. It wasn’t that I didn’t enjoy it—I just didn’t feel it the way I like to with thrillers that center around grief and betrayal.
That said, if you enjoy international thrillers with a splash of mystery and a strong female lead trying to untangle a web of lies, this will probably hit the mark for you. It’s a solid beach read with some clever turns—I just wanted a bit more weight behind the plot.
Thank you to NetGalley, Park Row, and Kimberly Belle for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.
The Paris Widow is available now.

A great cat and mouse game! Taking us all over Paris, this was incredibly atmospheric. While this did take my focus and keep it entertained, I did have a few sections that dragged a little and did have to suspend my disbelief a few times. All in all it was a good read!

Kimberly Belle delivers a high-stakes thriller set in the glittering shadows of Paris, where one moment you’re sipping wine and the next you’re dodging secrets and explosions. Stella’s husband disappears after a bombing, and what follows is a twisty, emotional rollercoaster through grief, betrayal, and international intrigue.
Stella is fierce, flawed, and totally unforgettable. The pacing? Breakneck. The reveals? Jaw-dropping. Belle blends glamour and grit with precision, and Paris has never felt so dangerous. If you love thrillers with heart, suspense, and a heroine who refuses to be underestimated, The Paris Widow needs to be on your radar.
Thank you to NetGalley and to Park row for this ARC!

I always love books by this author and this was no exception. This was a fast paced and suspense packed read! I was totally engrossed in this story right from the beginning. The characters are great and the setting of Paris is perfect for this story. Stella’s husband Adam is missing after a bomb blast and she soon learns the bomb may have been set off deliberately to kill him. The more she digs into the truth the more twists and turns the story takes. Some of the twists I saw coming and some were a total surprise. I loved this one and couldn’t put it down! I highly recommend you pick this book up!

Adam and Stella travel to Europe for a vacation, where Adam can do some work as an antique dealer while he is there. But things aren’t as they seem and this book is a live story wrapped in a thriller that reads like a spy novel. Flew through this in a day and enjoyed it.

Kimberly Belle is always a hit for me and this one was no exception. I love her twists and turns and the ability to keep you turning pages well into the night.

Loved the getting to read from the two different perspectives of our characters, as well as getting lost in the story with each turn of the page, discovering the hidden secrets , and lets not for get how the twist and turns kept coming out of now where .

Great thriller. Loved the pacing, it was such a quick read. Also had me on my toes a great deal of time !! Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review *

Do you want your dream vacation to turn deadly? In this one that is what happens to Stella and Adam as secrets from the past end up catching up to this married couple in Paris. This book is a page turner from beginning to end. The author did a good job writing this one and every character in this was interesting. Overall, I enjoyed this one and would recommend to any reader who likes thrillers or mysteries. Thank you to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing/ Park Row for this read in exchange of my honest review of The Paris Widow by Kimberly Belle.

The author did a great job entertaining with this plot. Twists and enough mystery to keep the pages turning. It's not necessarily my cup of tea but I know I will recommend it to others. I give it a 3.5 star rounded to 4.

Thank you to Harlequin Trade Publishing and NetGalley for the advance copy of The Paris Widow by Kimberly Belle. The story follows Stella Knox and her husband Adam who are on a European vacation. An explosion happens and Adam goes missing. What follows is this intense, twisty search as Stella tries to figure out what happened and realizes her husband may not have been who she thought he was leading her on a suspenseful journey through the underworld of stolen antiquities.
The Paris setting added so much atmosphere, and I loved the way the story moved; short chapters, lots of tension, and just enough clues sprinkled in to keep you guessing. Stella was a great main character too. She felt real, confused, heartbroken, but determined to get answers.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that a few of the twists were a little predictable But overall, it was a super solid read. Fast-paced, fun, and a bit emotional too.

Firstly, don’t go into this one thinking it’s a thriller. It’s much more of a suspense.
It is a very fast paced suspense, while also lingering a little too long in the scenes surrounding Stella’s husbands disappearance.
The narrator in this audio book is as good, but for some reason I feel like she read a little more dramatic than what was warranted in the story at times.
Stella and her husband, Adam are traveling through Europe when they are separated during an explosion. Adam is nowhere to be found, and Stella is left picking up the mysterious pieces of what she thought was her perfect life.
All in all this was entertaining and I would recommend.

I read this in one sitting! Suspenseful, tense and a unique story. I loved every second of this book. Another 5 by Kimberly Belle

When I pick up a book by Kimberley Belle, I know I'm in for an entertaining read with a great plot, fun twists and interesting characters.
I was immediately drawn into Stella's story. I love the dual timelines—a personal favourite plot style of mine in these types of thrillers. The story's "cat and mouse" chase vibe and its Paris setting made me think of some classic films, like Charade, with a modern take (if you haven't seen it, you need to fix that ASAP!).
I definitely recommend The Paris Widow!
Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for the copy.

The Paris Widow by Kimberly Belle is a suspenseful, fast-paced read that blends mystery, romance, and history into one thrilling package. Set in the heart of modern-day Paris, the story kicks off with an explosion that leaves Stella’s husband, Adam, missing—and from there, Belle launches readers into a gripping cat-and-mouse game filled with secrets, stolen antiquities, and shocking truths.
Right from the first chapter, this book had me hooked. Belle is known for her binge-worthy thrillers, and this one is no exception. The stakes are high, the pacing quick, and the twists keep coming. I especially loved the use of dual timelines—Stella’s desperate search in the present, paired with Adam’s past slowly unfolding in his own voice. It’s a clever structure that deepens the tension and gives insight into both characters’ emotional journeys.
The Paris setting adds an irresistible charm, with just the right balance of romance and danger woven into the backdrop. And the storyline surrounding blood antiquities is not only fascinating, but shockingly rooted in real-world history, as explained in the author’s note at the end—a fantastic touch that gave the story even more depth.
While there were a few moments where the pacing dipped or certain reveals felt a little rushed, overall the story kept me completely engaged. Some of the characters could have used a bit more development, but the emotional core of the story—trust, betrayal, and discovering the truth about the people we love—still hit home.
If you’re looking for a twisty, atmospheric thriller with an international flair and a strong emotional pull, The Paris Widow delivers. It’s the kind of book you’ll fly through in a weekend and think about afterward, especially once the final pieces fall into place.
Thank you NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for my DRC!

The plot was intriguing, but it was far from realistic, forcing me to suspend disbelief and simply go along with it. This is one of those books where I wonder if I would have enjoyed it more if I had read it rather than listening to the audiobook. The female narrator overemphasized Stella's parts, making her sound whiny and irritating. While the male narrator did well with the male characters, his portrayal of the female voices didn't quite work for me.

Love Kimberly’s work and this book carries with it just as much suspense and keeps the readers attention until the end. Thank you NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest opinion. A must read and auto buy!
