Thank you to NetGalley, Kimberly Belle and Harlequin Trade Publishing for the free ebook in exchange for an honest review.
This one was so good. It starts off with a bang (literally) and it just never stops. I enjoyed the characters and the lies and wild secrets. I would definitely recommend. I love Belle’s writing.

The Paris wife by Kimberly Belle is a fun, summer, thriller! A wife wakes up one morning to a bombing in Paris in which her husband supposedly dies. Or does he?? She begins to investigate and realizes that her husband was involved in a dangerous operation and one which puts her in peril as she gets closer to the truth.
I don’t want to say any more about the plot, for risking of spoiling the fun. Belle has written a fast-paced, summer thriller and one in which should put her on the map of anticipated beach reads with future publications.
Thanks to the publisher for providing the arc via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Kimberly Belle doesn't disappoint when it comes to suspenseful thrillers. The title captured my attention and needed to know more! Adam and Stella are the idyllic couple on vacation when...wait for it...tragedy strikes. The questions about the sudden explosion that turned Stella's life upside down lead to a path of secrets and lies that she's not prepared for. Who is is guy she married?
The unravelling of Adam's activities is what makes a great summer or anytime read. Be prepared not to get get up from your seat when you start this book.
Thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin Trade Publishing.

The Paris Widow is a fast paced mystery that follows Stella Knox as she is trying to find out if her husband Adam is still alive or one of the dead in the cafe's rubble after a bombing. As Stella navigates the streets of Paris searching for answers she has to remember to trust no one. People are trying to help her with the clues that she has found she now needs to contact someone from her past to help put the pieces together. This is an unforgettable mystery / thiller that will have you on th edge of your seat.

Stella and Adam have secret pasts in the world of art antiquities that come out after a bombing in Paris that was targeting Adam. Fast paced and hard to put down.

The banger I needed after many slow burners!!! Binged within a day!
At times I found Stella just *beyond* but then again, I’d probably be reacting the same. Cheers to that prologue because it allowed a significant understanding to Stella’s thought process and paranoia.
We have secrets and lies. We got cat and mouse. We have Bourne Triology vibes. I can see this be adapted for sure.
Lots happening! Thanks for the ARC!

An adrenaline rush! I loved it! Secrets galore, romance, a touch of glamor and lots of danger and betrayals. I couldn't put this book down and even when it ended I was still a bit stunned by how it all went down. This is a study in character development, aided by the two POVs; one "before" and one "after" that are intertwined in such a way to keep the tension continuously high. The character voices were fabulous and the character list was low, allowing each one to shine. I absolutely love how this book was written and I cannot wait to read more from this author!

The Paris Widow by Kimberly Belle
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / Pages: 305 / Genre: Psychological Thriller
Stella, a former flight attendant with a questionable past, is now living her best life. Married to a sweet, caring antiquities dealer and on vacation in Paris, Stella has no idea her entire life is about to be turned upside down. A terrorist explosion. Where is her husband? Is he dead or alive? She can’t leave until she finds him. But the more she digs, the more questions she discovers about the husband she thought she knew.
I loved this thriller! It was fast-paced and full of twists and interesting characters. The perfect beach read for your summer vacation.
Thank you, @NetGalley, @HarlequinBooks, and @KimberlySBelle for my gifted copy.

The Paris Widow is JUST what I wanted, and what I love in a summer thriller - fast paced action, twists and a plot full of intrigue and drama.
Kimberly Belle delivered in this one - I absolutely devoured this book in one morning, because I was fully obsessed in figuring out all the secrets the characters were hiding and seeing how the drama all unfolded. I love a little spy-caper vibe in a thriller and this story does a good job of weaving that energy into the story without it being too fully over the top and unbelievable. Serving up messy characters who are making some hugely questionable decisions, and a side cast of can-you-trust-them characters, you can't help but be invested in the intrigue.
The pacing in this book is spot on, and I was so, so satisfied with the twists and turns that pop up at just the right times. I don't want to offer even a hint of a spoiler, but I will say that this is PEREFCT, summer popcorn thriller reading and is an absolute YES for your TBR pile.
Many thanks to the publisher for my copy.

First, big thanks to NetGalley & Harlequin Trade Publishing | Park Row for the ARC copy of this one, which is out now as of 6/11!!
This one had a great, strong opening for me. I was very intrigued with where our first character was headed & what lay in store for them, but unfortunately that character fell flat for me. I wanted more from her & to see what she was capable of, but she felt very back and forth. One minute she was a badass, the next she waS quite whiny and incapable.
Overall this was an enjoyable read though. Slightly predictable, but it didn't take the whole story away. There were still a couple of things I did not see and it was a fun read!

This is the first book that I've read by Kimberly Belle. I plan on reading more of her books.
The book is about Adam and Stella Knox who have been married for four years. .Adam owns an antique store in Atlanta.
They went on a three week trip to different countries. On the trip Adam found items to sell in his store. Before they checked out of the hotel to go home, they stopped at a Parisian cafe. On the way back to the hotel, Adam tells Stella he left his sunglasses at the cafe. He tells her to go get their bags at the hotel and he'll meet her there. On the way to the hotel, she hears a big explosion. She tries unsuccessfully to reach Adam on the phone. Stella returns to the cafe to find that it was the site of the explosion. His body wasn't found with the other victims. There are a lot of twists and turns as she searches for Adam. ~ she's told that Adam was the target of the bombing ~ authorities say he was selling blood antiquities? ~ what other secrets was he keeping from her? She doesn't know who she can trust. And Stella was keeping secrets of her own. Is Adam still alive? You'll have to read the book to find out.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I was fortunate enough to have received this ARC from NetGalley.
When Stella planned to join her husband on his travels collecting historical art pieces, a bombing was not on the agenda. After forgetting his sunglasses at the Cafe, Adam. Stella's husband goes back to retrieve them. Coincidentally, this is the same time a bomb goes off at the same location. While desperately searching for her husband, Stella learns from the police that her husband had been selling art and goods on the black market. Who is this man that she married?
Wonderful novel, easy read. Thriller mixed with a romantic edge, what's not to love. I have no previous experience with this authors work but will definitely look into more. She has such a way of conjuring up vivid images with her words.

Stella and Adam are on a dream vacation and things are perfect. Until they aren’t. A bombing in Paris results in Adam being a missing person. Stella is beside herself of course and is looking for answers. But she’s in for more than she bargained for when it comes to finding the truth. A fast-paced, exciting international adventure!

Quick pace thriller! The ending was a little sloppy but it kept me interested! Definitely recommend to others!

From the very beginning, this book had a hook on me. It was a great thriller that kept me guessing all along. I could not put it down and stayed up until almost 2 am just to finish. Not everything is as it appears and this book took me on a wild ride to sort out the truth!

Kimberly Belle is a new favorite author! I love the way she adds so much intricate detail to her books. Thrillers can be quite repetitive but I felt this storyline was pretty well thought out with spots that left me saying- huh, well, so that's how that works!!
I really liked the Oscar Wilde quotes at the beginning of the chapters. It made each chapter se more significant with the message at the beginning of Adam's chapters.
My only gripe is that a couple of the characters needed more backstory. The ex boyfriend seemed a bit raw and kinda out of place in the story. There was great potential but I needed more in that department.
Overall I'm excited to add a new author to my list of auto- buys!!

This novel was such a pleasant surprise! I went in relatively blind, and I am so glad I did. I loved the setting, plot, characters - everything. Five stars!
I appreciate the publisher and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.

4.5⭐️ What a ride! I loved this! The plot line kept my attention from page one!
Adam and Stella are taking a trip around Europe when Adam is involved in a cafe bombing and Stella doesn’t know whether or not he’s dead or alive. As the story unfolds, Stella starts to learn devastating secrets about her husband, but she will stop at nothing to uncover the truth about what happened and who her husband really is.
I loved the little chapters with Adam’s POV. It just added more tension and backstory to the book. This was so adventurous, tense, and thrilling all at once. I also loved Stellas’s strong and bad ass character! Furthermore, I liked that the story had short chapters. What a great read!
Thank you to Net Galley and Harlequin Trade Publishing for this e-copy in exchange for this honest review.

Kimberly Belle knows how to write the perfect setting! I love how I felt like I was truly in another country while reading and I loved the twists and turns the story took. I did find some things to be a little over explained but this was a really fun one and something great for someone to pick up that’s new to thrillers!

How would you feel if you were on a beautiful European vacation with your husband of four years and a horrific accident happens that leaves you devastated and your husband dead? Mysterious people are coming out of the woodwork telling you stories about what your husband was doing for a living. They also said that the accident that killed him was not an accident. He was the target of the bombing. You are finding out more and more about his antique business and you realize that he was doing illegal things. This story is very interesting and very thrilling. You never know what will happen next. It is told in the point of view of the couple with Stella having more chapters than Adam. I never realized that things are happening in real life but after reading the author's notes they do. It is a great read. I highly recommend it.
Thanks to #netgalley, #ParkRowpublishing and @Kimberlysbelle for an ARC of this great book.
