It took me embarrassingly long to read this but I'm happy I did because I absolutely loved it.

The characters were lovable, the story was compelling, and the artwork was beautiful. Immediately moving onto volume 2.

I hadn't heard of this webtoom before seeing it on Netgalley, but immediately fell in love! I'm a sucker for witches and vampires, so I was super excited to read about this duo. The art is absolutely adorable and the story is just as charming. Honestly can't believe I haven't heard more people recommending this one! Would be a perfect fall read for sure.

Honestly, the setting, the illustrations, and the overall visual style felt pretty cool, the atmosphere is well made. I could feel the magic, kind of dorky but cute. However, the protagonist didn’t quite convince me, and even though I adored Oz… I feel like the connection between them isn’t quite there yet. I get that sometimes characters need more time to develop, but in this case, I just didn’t feel that spark (at least for now).

Also, there are elements in the story that are quite obvious, things that are clearly going to be revealed later as if they were big plot twists. And hey, that’s not necessarily a bad thing, but I don’t know… this time it all felt a bit “just okay.”

Maybe it needed a few more chapters to better wrap up some ideas or give more depth to certain aspects. I know there are more chapters in the webtoon, so maybe it was more about the selection, like which chapters they chose for this volume and which ones were left for the next. I’m not sure, but it gave me that unfinished vibe.

Still, I’m curious. I want to know if my theories are right or if I’ll get some surprises in the next volumes. So yep, I’ll be reading the continuation...

I first read Morgana and Oz as a webtoon, and was overjoyed to find that it was being published physically. I highly recommend this series to anyone interested in magic, vampires, or mystery. The characters have complex backstories and motivations that lead to some interesting choices! And, last but not least, I love the artstyle and character design.

This is a cute wholesome story with stunning artstyle and distinct character designs. It is however a bit simplistic with its storytelling, but overall still worth the read. I'd be interested in continuing this when I'm in the mood for something simple and quick.

Thank youNetGalley, Wattpad WEBTOON Book Group, and WEBTOON Unscrolled for this arc!

5/5 stars

This was a really fun and exciting first volume, full of peril, humour, and intrigue! I really enjoy both Morgana and Oz's characters, they feel well rounded and well fleshed out. Im looking forward to reading more about them, and how they're going to get out of this pickle they're in!

This series has a lot of potential. This first volume leaned heavily on hinting a wider mysteries and conspiracies rather than giving any context for the reader to find their footing in. That said, the characters are lovable and the art style is well developed so I'll be giving volume 2 a try.

This was a cute first installment of an adapted Webtoon series. I really enjoyed the plot, and the dynamic between Morgana and Oz. I thought that the setup for the feud between the witches and the vampires was done well, and I enjoyed the humor and light romance included in the story. The artwork is also really cute, and I really appreciated that Morgana isn't objectified with her clothing style. I like that this is a book that can be enjoyed by both teen and younger readers.

I loved this grumpy/sunshine story so much!! The witches and the werewolves have a lot of things to figure out...together! This was a really fun read with great characters and beautiful art. I can't wait to see the character growth as everyone becomes close friends.

I really loved the art style of this book. The art is what drew me in to begin with, but the story did not disappoint. I enjoyed the story from the very first page.

A cozy, fantasy graphic novel adaptation of a webtoon that is equal parts sweet, action-packed and with lots of mysterious twists and turns. The art style perfectly captures the cozy fantasy mood and vibe. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

This was a very cute intro to a world where paranormal creatures are normalized and the tensions between factions. Morgana the clumsy witch who is terrible at magic and Oz the mysterious vampire boy who is definitely a tsundere. Their chance meeting at a peace meeting kicks off the story where she turns him into a cat accidentally and they get to know each other and push aside/unlearn prejudices that are made about each other. This is definitely gonna become a cute romance between the two and I'm crossing my fingers for friends to lovers rather than anything instant. Regardless I love the art style and the way that her spells are shown as symbols to the reader rather than words. It's a cute detail. I knew nothing about this webtoon before getting this arc (thanks netgalley!) but the plot has potential and I await the development of their relationship. I'll be continuing this story on webtoon and further published volumes.
